WQ600UA #ABA: cursor on my LT freezes
I have a HP Pavilion dm3 and my problem is that the cursor after a while crashes and I have to close my LT and restarted again.

I don't know if this is requested already or in the right place. Basically, my touchpad freezes. The laptop is not frozen because I can still read the page or what I'm doing if I press the arrow key.

Cursor appears randomly and freezes for a few seconds.
I use windows 7, has a slider that randomly appears in the 2 arrows and it moves the page intermittently at high speed and sometimes cursor freezes for a few seconds.
How to get rid of this problem.

I have a dell vostro 1000 laptop with windows Vista Basic program. I aggravating problems with scrolling, on each program Web site. I have mozilla firefox, chrome, IE I started to scroll down a page and he yanks back the Summit. This also happens offline. I feel like a tug of war. The other problem is the flashing running drop boxes. When I go to lets say google and I click on the search box type it then starts flashing and hurtling previous search words. It is difficult to stop this. right now I have some difficulties to type this question because I'm going to type a few words and then the cursor disappears also a previous sentence. Sometimes when I go to type a word in the search type box the first letter and then the cursor will return to the leading space and adds the letters before the first letter of the word. I feel like sometimes I write backwards. Oh! time comsuming. It does also offline. I have a wireless keyboard and mouse that I sometimes use the mouse works, then suddenly, the page is pulled to the top and I can only It control a few times with the arrow keys on your laptop. Sometimes, this work and others do not. My AutoFill will in to fill out the forms but the name, the address box etc. will follow down the rest of the form and I do not see other issues. I tried Control Panel for mouse problems and the keyboard and settings sometimes move for the reason so I can't set some options. Can someone please help me I've been struggling with this problem for over a year.

· Does the problem occur even when working with other programs such as WordPad and Notepad?
(A.) it can happen that if drivers are not updated, you may update the drivers for keyboard and mouse on your machine, see steps to update the drivers:
(i.) click Start > type in Device Manager in the start search > expand the keyboard and the mouse in Device Manager > right click on drivers > click Properties > click on the driver tab > click on update drivers > click OK.
Now, restart the computer and check if the keyboard and mouse works fine without any problems.
(B) if the problem persists, you may need to perform the analysis antivirus on the computer.

A.) you can also check by reducing the hardware acceleration on your computer, follow the steps below to reduce hardware acceleration:
(i.) click Start > click Control Panel > click on appearance and personalization > click personalization > click on display settings > click Advanced settings > click the Troubleshooting tab, and then click on change settings.
Note: The settings will be disabled if the graphics card driver does not support disabling hardware acceleration.
Move the hardware acceleration slider until it is one notch to the right of none. It is the basis of acceleration.

H8 - 1420t envy: Hp Envy - can't Access BIOS Can or Start Menu after replacing HARD drive

One of my friends has problems with their computer and gave it to the difficulty. First thing I did was try to start it up and it didn't not even start. He tried the auto repair and failed. Then attempted to fix startup problems via the Win8 splash screen and doesn't have too much that. So, I tried a refresh and even that failed. I took out the hard drive, connected on my PC at home and save all the data I could find. I had problems with some data and often he would crash my windows explore (as my friend told me that he did while they were using the PC), so I've determined the drive HARD shot.
Got a new HARD drive and put it in. At caught my drive of Windows 8 and slapped in. When I went to start the PC, I tried to hit all the keys BIOS I could think: Esc, f2, f8, f10 and f12, del even. Nothing has worked. He's just sitting at the HP logo and then after about 20 seconds, he went to a black screen that says something along the lines of "not detected no boot disk".
I can't boot into the BIOS. If I plug the old drive hard when I get to the blue screen of Windows 8 start with parameters such as the "Refresh" and "reset the PC. If I try to access the CD/DVD drive under the 'Remote access' button, I get a black screen with a cursor. It just freezes there. If I try to access the settings of UEFI, it freezes in the blue menu with functions.
I don't really know what to do here. I'd appreciate any help! Never had a problem this stubborn before.Wanted to just go back and say I have solved my problem.
The computer didn't like the keyboard I used! I caught a pretty generic keyboard that was laying around and plugged him that. Hit Esc at startup led me to the boot menu.

This problem may be caused by a touchpad setting which is intended to avoid any accidental activation - for example if your Palm brush the touchpad when typing.
You can change this as follows.
Open windows control panel and on the top right, next to the display by: select "large icons". In the new page layout, select the entry of Synaptics.
The hardware/software version will depend on real option that you're looking for (see the example below), but it is usually called 'check' Palm or Smart Sense'-disable this function and apply the changes.

The mouse freezes when the cursor changes icon
Hello. The problem is that when the cursor changes its icon for example when taking screenshot with cmd + shift + 4 it freezes until I'll click. Basically, it moves only when selected. It is annoying when I'm working in C4D where when you draw cursor change and makes it almost impossible but it's not in Photoshop. Someone has experienced something like this? Or maybe some ideas what the problem is?
I want to mention that this happens only on one of the two user accounts on the computer

This seems to happen on all the Youtube video I play. I don't know other videos because I rarely find out all others. When the video freeze arrives that the download bar is always before the bar of games so I don't think that download is the problem. However, when frost occurs, the download bar stop moving. When game bar catches up to the download bar, the sound also stops. If I move my cursor, the video and audio are starting to play again. As long as I keep my cursor moving, the video plays well. I use Firefox 18.0.1. The computer is an HP dv6-1350us with two processors. Operating system is Windows 7. I also sometimes use Chrome and the gel can't on Chrome.
Hello vearlbible, maybe there is a problem with the mode protected in the flash plugin - please go trough the following troubleshooting in the help document steps are provided by adobe: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1018071
or, as an alternative, you could try downgrading of 10.3 flash (which is always supported) and see if that fixes the problem.

If your mouse cursor seems frozen after you wake up, your Mac from sleep, there are several troubleshooting steps to try first.
I recommend starting with this hard reset -reset the management system (SCM) controller on your Mac.

Satellite L850: Play a game - holding the SPACEBAR freezes cursor
Got my first Toshiba with my first Windows 8 experience so IDK.

MattI agree with Akuma. Disable the internal mouse and external use only. I have old Tecra M1 with the same keyboard and in my case the problem was faulty Acupoint placed on the keyboard.
With the new keyboard, everything was OK again.
I recommend you to disable the mouse of the computer laptop and external use only. -
Qosmio G20 - the mouse cursor freezes
Play command and conquer tiberium wars a coupke of minutes in the game, the mouse cursor will feeze not allowing me to select units, etc.. I have to use Ctrl, alt, del to exit the game. This does not in all the other games that I used on the laptop. Is there something I can do?

My computer laptop cursor freezes sometimes when they surf the internet from 1 website to others while in the middle of data transfer. All functions stop.
Everything tried but failed. Have to power off of closing down, cos nothing move. When turn on, cell function as usual, but after a while it crashes again.
