• Captivate 5 can not move typing text (wrong location when the project is rescaled)

  In order to view the entire screen for my project, I have to record higher resolution (1024 x 768), and then resize the project (800 x 600), because the project is too large for the server to manage (if I do not resize).  When I resize the project that typing text does not appear in the correct location and (!), you cannot move the text type to the correct location in Captivate 5... or can you?  You will notice in my screen print below, is not only the text in the wrong location, it is in fact COMPLETELY off the screen...   I guess that's probably pretty specific to your application.

  However, if you take (for example) a reading every 10 seconds and you get a reading that is 10 miles from your last known location, so of course, this location must be discarded.

• Firmware Flash HP LJ 8150N in the wrong location

  I'm new here.

  I recently bought new ram for my printer and I didn't really know what to replace in the memory locations.

  So I removed the 8 MB out of the slot flash flash firmware and put 64 MB of pc100 in her memory. and then I put the 8 MB of flash in the last slot (D6 or D7).

  I don't know what to do. I saw the manual for adding ram at the end.

  Now, the printer hangs at startup. I don't know what to do.

  First replace the original 8 MB flash memory chip in the appropriate slot. Leave out any extra ram you put in but replace any ram that was originally in the printer. See if it starts, and if not what message or items you have on the screen? It could be as simple as the memory that you are trying to add is not good.

• Calendar cards Gets the wrong location

  If I open Maps, type in a destination and set it to go home' - it does - no problem.

  If I set a location to the calendar and travel time from home' - again - the arrow.

  But... Click on the graphic of map of the calendar to open cards, and suddenly I live half a mile from the destination (rather than 40 years).

  I tried - as suggested - change my contact card (I changed to 'Home' for the 'work' and changed "Rd" to "Road" - just so that I changed SOMETHING). Removed the appointment. Stop cards and calendar. Calendar has reopened and put in the nomination. This time I went "Home" - all good.

  Click on the open cards - this time I lived elsewhere. Still hurt and still less than half a mile from the destination, but bad nonetheless.

  I tried to put in a new destination directly into maps defining this route, then return to the calendar and redo the previous series of tedious actions: same issue - although sometimes I still moved house.

  This happened just after the last update - that was for Cyberduck! I suspect that they are not related. But I'm not, so understand what has happened to make the change.

  Any wisdom on this?

• Duik OS created in wrong locations

  I created my character in illustrator with a bunch of different layers (one for arms, those different for every hand, etc.

  I brought sequels, import all the legacy vector layers (making sure to constantly pixelation is on).

  It seems with Duik, I need to create bones for each individual layer and can not use an OS for several PIN codes (which I'm not used since I am experienced enough in 3D, but not 2D editing) but when I create a PIN on say the coat of arms, I put 3 pins (shoulder, elbow, wrist) , and then rename the pins correctly, and when I click on a PIN and create a BONE he created the OS with the correct name and the bones are connected to the arm, however there are some places really far away, sometimes even outside of the axis of the puppet. The arm Illustrator layer is not related to anything either.

  I tried everything just to have a layer of regular shape with a PIN and Duik will create the os very well, but not on any illustrator layers. Nothing is named the name or something like that, no one knows why this is?

• Folder in the Dreamweaver - DW site chooses wrong location

  Over the last 10 years, I've seen a lot of weird bugs in DW, but this one is by far the most confusing.

  I just installed Win 7 and I took the chance to do a fresh install. It meant reconfiguring all my sites the Dreamweaver.

  In the reconstruction of my local hit, I discovered that whenever I chose a local folder for a website instead of the folder being the local in DW, one immediately above it would be chosen insead.

  At first I wrote chalk user error and do things in a hurry, but then I realized it was DW that.

  I found a quick solution that inolved drilling to a subdirectory and choose this one. DW will then choose the parent directlory folder of the site. Easy, but also troubling. What else will wreong?

  In the cases above is unclear, here's a step by step:

  Access the Sites == > manage sites

  Click on "Local root folder".

  Navigate to the directory 'my sites '.

  Open Directory of websites "ClientSite.

  Click "choose".

  Now in "local root folder" I see this:

  D:\My Websites\

  Instead of

  D:\My Websites\ClientSite

  If I do the same thing but instead I drill down to:

  D:\My Websites\ClientSite\images

  then in "local root folder" I see now:

  D:\My Websites\ClientSite

  Is this weird or what?

  Incidentally, the same applies to the folder of images and in each other the local site DW interface dialog box

  Yes, this is a known bug that Adobe will fix soon hopefully.  It happens in Win7 and I understand as well under Vista.

  Two solutions of workaround: type in the correct folderpath in the window field to browse manually or choose a folder level 1 below your real goal - DW will mess it up just right then!

  Are you using PSE11?

  You can remove this tag in order to list of places. Switch to the tab places . In the right panel, switch to list mode. Right click on the incorrect tag place and choose Remove.

  Could check you that your home page has no parameter after the base address: http://isp.netscape.com/

  You can access in the Options dialog box, as described in: start-up, homepage, tabs and download settings.

  If it's already just the base address, could test you mode without failure of Firefox? It is a standard diagnostic tool to disable some advanced features of Firefox and extensions. More info: questions to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode.

  Does not work if Firefox: Hold down the SHIFT key when you start Firefox.

  If Firefox is running: You can restart Firefox in Mode safe mode using either:

  • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > restart with disabled modules
  • Help menu > restart with disabled modules

  and OK reboot.

  Two scenarios: A small dialog box should appear. Click on 'Start mode safe' (not update).

  You did not mention where that came from, but I'll assume that you are talking about this. Did you install all of the files listed under "software requirements"? The file seems to be part of the library of FlexSignal, so if you have installed it, you may have installed in the wrong location.

  You installed in the wrong location. You follow the instructions on the download page. It it not owned any users folder. It is under the instr.lib that you apparently have a copy. Do you also have automatic help > find the instrument Drivers. It would be installing the driver in the correct location.

• all my word and Excel documents all appear in the files my images. If I delete the document of MY photos it is deleted in Word/Excel too, how to undo it?

  Word and Excel files are saved in Word and Excel and in my images.  If I delete the document of my images, it is also deleted in Word / Excel.  I checked and all Word/Excel documents are in my pictures including documents several years ago.

  You have them saved to this location for some reason any. If you don't like that you have to move them to the correct location and stop then save in the wrong location.

  Whenever you save something you must check if you save it in the correct location, of course.

  Do not delete them. You can use UNDO and trash to get back those you've accidentally deleted recently.
