WUSB54Gv2 XP Home Driver?

Can't find it on the site. And I don't have the disk any longer. Does anyone have a link for it? I have my monitor wireless running, but it is to show that the adapter is not there. I just reformated my computer and put a new instal of XP Home. I need to activate it and I wouldn't call the India to do this.

What happened, is that you reformatted your hard drive. These drivers deleted, software etc., which is necessary for the card must be used.

You can download the drivers here

I read that XP Home Edition can have up to 5 connections to it and XP Pro can have up to ten. I'm trying to understand why the XP machine at home allows only 4 computer map a drive to it? Any help would be appreciated.

  • User's home drive do not disconnect on logout - El Cap / SAN / SMB

10.10.5 managed Server 5.1 customers / 10.11.4 Server and the Profile Manager

We have recently moved to a new SAN.  Our old SAN (CEM) used to go nuts if we have enabled SMB 2 when connecting with our Macs.  We forced protocol SMB 1 on our customers and this stopped file corruption and the SAN to bananas.

New SAN (ch) supports SMB 3.  Migrate all user data and found that funny permissions files Mac (movies, music, photos, library etc.).  The "Everyone" group was set to 'Deny' and either remove it, or just refresh perms on a folder that has allowed the correct users access.

When you use SMB 1 on our new SAN, it was slow as dirt, so we have enabled SMB 3.  Much faster.  Our problems are the following:

1 - when a new user is created, and they connect for the first time, they get their 'Mac' folders created.  They are made with the funny perms that prevent users who register in these files.  We got around this new users by creating a template for folder for them BEFORE opening of session that contains the correct permissions.  Store us existing users running a monster script to strip and update perms.

    2. when a user logs on to a Mac client in network, their network folder does not disconnect properly, leaving open which means if they connect to another machine their Keychain can go nuts.

Everyone here has experience with Macs and WITHOUT and dubious permissions?

Roughly permissions must be that the owner can access the files and content, but everyone should be declined. As long as the user creates the folder, they should the registered owner.

Yes unfortunately network directories have a lot of questions. This is something that I and others have seen as well as various other issues. I have I feel resolved this by putting in place a logouthook script that takes place as his name when the user disconnects, and checks and if necessary disconnects all left to mount the users home directory. Here's my logouthook script.

    #!/bin/bash
    # Kill secd processes left running after user logs out
    killall -9 secinitd
    killall -9 secd
    logger "LogoutHook killed processes"
    # Unmount network home directory share if left mounted after user logs out
    mountpath=`mount | grep /Network | awk '{print $3}'`
    if [ "$mountpath" != "" ]
    then
      umount -f $mountpath
      logger "LogoutHook unmounted network home"
    fi
    # Delete old stuff from /private/var/folders - mainly cache files after user logs out
    # more as a security measure but also helps clear any bad stuff
    find /private/var/folders/* -type d -mtime 1 -exec rm -rf {} \;
    exit

My PC has XP Tablet installed.  I would like to re - install (it's so slow) but do not have the disks (PC was good for me to my business when I'm retired).  I have XP Home disks and another valid product key and not used.  I don't need the features of the Tablet, just a working pc.  Can I do this?

Yes, you can install your unused copy of Windows XP Home Edition, assuming that it is a "Full Version" and not a "Version upgrade".

    Hello

I suggest you follow the steps mentioned below.

    a. make sure that you back up partition D want to be absorbed into the C (startup disk) partition. Data d should be deleted.

    b. go to the command line (start > programs > Accessories > command line) and type DISKPART

    c. on the fast line (DISKPART >), type:
    -LIST DISK
    -SELECT DISK [enter disk number]
    -PARTITION LIST
-SELECT PARTITION 2 (or the number of partition needs to be absorbed)
-DELETE PARTITION (This reformatted the partition to be absorbed, so make sure you have a copy of your files elsewhere)

    d. now, to extend the C: partition
    -LIST OF VOLUME
-SELECT VOLUME [enter the number of the volume assigned to your C drive]
-EXTEND (this will be resize partition #1 for all unallocated hard disk space)

    e. Type EXIT to exit DISKPART

    Hey t6788j1

have a 64-bit AMD processor has notrhing to do with the question of whether you have a vista operating system 32-bit or 64-bit

    It runs both

and it is useless to ask questions on a recovery partition as you say that you have replaced the original hard drive as it would have contained the recovery partition

    you have 2 choices

    1. contact toshiba and ask them to recovery disc for your laptop model specific

2 return to the correct version of microsoft vista dvd bits

If you are unsure what version of bits ask toshiba

Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer

they contain all versions of vista

This is the product key that determines which version of vista is installed

  • How can I get a replacement of Zoo Tycoon 2 Zookeeper Collection drive?

A relative of the United States was made a Zoo Tycoon 2: Zookeeper Collection (PC) as a gift some time ago. The problem is that a disc does not.

I can see, he is not even scratched, but computers do not recognize properly. I tried on different computers and it just doesn't work. Disc two, however, works perfectly. The problem is not on my computer because I tried the disk on other computers, sometimes I've been able to see the contents of the floppy disk and sometimes only the Volume name, but nothing else (obviously never run automatically, by clicking a configuration had no effect either).

I also tried xcopy the files, but it gives me a cyclic redundancy error. The disc is clearly damaged or defective.

Since I don't live in the United States, I don't know how to get a replacement drive. I tried the support online site and it asks to install a PID that I have no idea on since I can't find it on my drives, nor the game case and I cannot get it. It has a certificate of authenticity, for what it's worth.

I live in Buenos Aires in Argentina. I would be grateful if someone could guide me so that I can get a replacement shipped to my home drive.

    Thank you

  • local drives

I recently had my Presario replaced SR5550F HD (old one crashed).  I am running VISTA. I use an external hard drive LaCie FW for all my data, I call my LaCie J; drive.  It has 3 partitions, I:, J: and K: I use I have; for all of my data. J & K: are empty. Since the internal HD replacement, I noticed in the Explorer who, in addition to the local disk C: and local drive J; He has also filed a "network drive" designation (name of the home drive) j (Z.)  It has the same data as my partition I: on the external J: drive.  I do not understand why it shows up as a network drive.  The problem (I guess it can be bound) is that very often, when I boot I do not receive my J: drive and I get a message saying "Coul not reconnect all network drives.  It is obvious immediately, because my wallpaper is located on the external data drive.  I'm not the letter of the system and have no idea how solve this.  The only solution I found is to stop, then restart, in which case it connects.  Of course, this is getting really old.  Suggestions, please?

    Hello djangobill,

Welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience! To help you get the most out of the Forums of HP, I would like to draw your attention to the Guide of the Forums HP first time here? Learn how to publish and more.

I understand that you are having problems with your computer does not connect a network drive that have not mapped you. Accually according to what you said in your post you have mapped when you set your wallpaper to an image on the usb drive. The system created an internal mapping that image and when he starts the load operating system before your USB hard drive is added and it loses the connection to cause you all this grief. You have two options, as I see it.

You can move the image from the external drive on your local disk and reset it as your wallpaper. As the operating system would break the link with the old image it is more to keep the internal mapping and your problem should be solved.

Your other option is to go into your BIOS and enable Legacy devices, it would load your USB to first image mapped to be accessible when the operating system is going to get him.

I hope I have shed light on the question for you. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums. Have a great day!

  • Satellite A20 - CD/DVD doesn't read any type of disc

I just got a used Satellite A20. Former owner uninstalled programs, and now the CD/DVD doesn't read any type of disc. It has worked well for the former owner.

    Satellite A20C - 0231Q Windows XP - Home drive SD-R2412

In the bios a cd-rom drive is listed
In Control Panel, the drive is listed, but with a yellow triangle and a message indicating that the device cannot be used... driver problem?

Is there a way to locate the driver for an older machine, install it, without making a complete recovery (as the cd player does not work?)? I noticed that the driver Announces began with the Satellite A - 200.

    Any suggestions will be appreciated!
    Thank you!

Boarder's right. If the drive is listed in the device with the yellow exclamation point manager and the drive is not listed in Windows Explorer, you can resolve following the method described in the document of Microsoft.
After reboot everything should be ok again.

I have a HP desktop PC Win7 64 bit.  A previous customer better, he explains that I am facing a very similar problem.   "Whenever I reboot, get messages of installer of Windows that it cannot install HPPhotosmartEssential software and I have to click OK and cancel several times to cross the pop - ups."  My programs Windows shows that I have HP Photosmart Essential 3.5 installed. "Could not load the software I uninstalled the HP application in the hope that I could reinstall it again.  My hope is dashed because I just learned about the HP support page that HPPhotosmartEssential has been replaced.  All the family photos that were on the site disappeared. • Help! My original disk offline files are copied in my reader users when I log on their machine!

I have users who use the offline files feature so that they can work on files of network when the network.  After using my credential and working on a user's computer yesterday, copies of my files from home drive now appears in the user drive home.  Of course, this is not acceptable.  It could reveal sensitive or confidential information to the wrong person.

Can someone tell me how this can happen?  The offline files cache should not be shared between different users of the same machine, right?  I connect in machines of so many people while ensuring support and cannot have copied my personal files in the home directories of others.  FYI, remap us the My Documents shortcut to the user's home or the H: drive.

What can I do to prevent that from happening again?

    Hi IT_John,

The offline files cache should not be shared between different users of the same machine, right? Yes, as long as it is configured correctly, you can check the steps mentioned in the link below

  • WUSB600Nv2 encryption and no. WPA2 XP Pro SP2 problem?

    Description

Hi I just got this today. I tried to install it to my brothers 2003/2003 or 2004 old 5200-701 Toshiba laptop that runs the factory install Windows XP Home edition image. Family XP wouldn't recognize installation on cd & says operating system not supported. So I downloaded the last configuration of version from the site to support cisco home & driver Windows XP worm 1.4.10.0. Don't know what version is on the cd. The new downloaded configuration worked, it installed & found the device.

    Encryption

Because he had the old Win XP Home, so I did an upgrade to the Windows XP Professional SP2. I can connect to my router now & using NEW CONFIGURATION of cisco for WINXP best encryption I can use is not good enough! The best that I can use is WPA-TKIP. But I want to use WPA2-AES or WPA2-TKIP. But there must be WPA2! On the page of the driver version, it shows 1.4.1.0 09/03/2009 & under the signatory digital it shows the hardware compatibility of Windows of Microsoft Publisher. Please how can I then do use WPA2 please?

Advice, suggestions, tips, answers are greatly appreciated many thanks.

Windows XP SP2 does not support the WAP2 encryption, you will need to download WPA2 patch on the Microsoft website or to update your windows XP SP 2 for Windows XP SP3.

    Download WPA2 patch here.

    To download SP3 click here.
