WWindows7 HP laserjet 1536 crash 64-bit

Product name: HP LaserJet Pro M1536 multifunction printer

OS: Windows 7 SP1 64-bit

This is a new installation, nothing complicated, the computer is running MS Office 2010 and a House written request. The computer/printer may not show the signs of distress in a day or two, but suddenly the computer crashes when you send something to print. Sometimes printing from Excel, Word, or the original application. I suspect that the printer drivers, but there again, that would happen with each print out. I don't know if the installation disk supplied with sopport for W7 64 bit, but as I said, it prints fine for a while. Any ideas?

I fell on the same subject.  Here's what I found, I had plugged the printer on a USB 3.0 slot and had not upgraded the USB drivers.   I simply move the printer to a USB 2.0 cable (blue Ports are 3.0, 2.0 black) and arrested blue screen crashes.  After checking that it was the USB 3.0 port, causing the issues I've updated USB drivers.

Has worked for me, thought I'd share.

  • Problems installing driver LaserJet 1536

I have a new LaserJet 1536. I'm running Vista 64 and the computer is connected to the printer with a usb port, no network.

There are no official drivers for your printer under Windows 8 immediately.  I heard of people using the Window 7 64-bit driver and do it to work this way.  I'm going to inculde the installation link.  If you have any problems, let me know and I'll see what I can find.

    Hi claudiopolis,.

I see that you have some problems with the activation of the web services.
I will do my best to help you with this problem.

As he was working previously, I think he might have an auto update on router.

Disable IPv6 on the printer to see if that is causing the problems.

Click the Configuration button (key) network configuration, IPv6, network services and turn it off.

Try to enable web services again.

If you still have questions then I restore the default values for the printer and try the installation again.

Unplug the Ethernet cable from the printer.

Go to the setup button (key) service, restore the default values.

Print the configuration page to find out the IP address.

    Print a Configuration report.

    Select the method.

Access the webserver integrated for the printer again and try to activate web services.

If that does not work then go to the manual select tab, IPv4, network layout, enter the settings disable configuration report. (do not create a new IP address) address preferred DNS: 8.8.8.8 and other DNS address: 8.8.4.4.

Apply the settings and return to the Web Services tab and try to activate again.

Here is a list of printer ports: 137/138/139/161/427/9100/9220/9500.

    Ports scanner: 9220, 9500/427.

I would like to know how it goes for you!

Thanks for posting on the HP Forums.
    Have a great day.

  • LaserJet 1536dnf: HP LaserJet 1536 stuck in Permanent storage Init.

Hello, tried to put in the other forum, I already found on it but could not do.

We have the above printer.  Sometimes when you turn it on, you get nothing on the screen and the ready, alert and toner low LED, all lights.  Sometimes you turn on the printer and you get all three lights on and then Hewlett-Packard on the screen with a few arrows below it, but it never completely starts.

I tried to remove all cables from the printer, but it does not help.  Tried to connect the power supply directly in multiple points of sale, but that did not help.  I tried a different power cable, but that did not help or the other.

Found the instructions for a cold reboot (arrow to the right keep and Cancel button, printer and wait that Init of Permanent storage on the screen, then release), but it does not help.  Sometimes when doing this process, you get even any information on the LCD screen and you have to remove the power cord and try several times to the same it get to the point where now this key sequence actually gets the Permanent storage Init message on the screen.

is there something I'm missing or another way to do a factory reset?  I would like to know if this is the problem with this printer or if it is simply getting old and we need to get a new one.

    Thank you!

Any time that I've seen this is the trainer who is bad and must be replaced.  Unfortunately hp does not part.  Less expensive, I could find:

Try to install the latest XPS update and check if it helps.

Download the driver from the link below:

  • Impossible to install optional HP Laserjet 3380 Win7 64-bit driver released on 16/12/12.

Windows Update offers me an update for the driver for my HP Laserjet 3380, which was released on December 16, 2012. However, I can't install it with Windows Update. This driver is identified with the "laserjet PCL5 hp3380." There are four functions of the unit identified on the Hardware tab of the properties of this multifunction device window. I am able to identify drivers for 3 of them, which are as of 10/01/02, 21/06/06 and 06/21/06. When I tried to update manually, I was told that they were up to date.

HP says to get drivers Win7 from Windows Update, so there is no help from the manufacturer for it.

Sometimes Windows Update will offer drivers you have installed already and are not necessary.

If your hardware is working properly, you can ignore these updates. Right click on each of them in Windows Update, and then click hide update. You will not see them.

  • Windows 7 starter edition does not recognize HP LaserJet 1536 dnf printer

I use the Acer Aspire one 521 netbook with pre-installed windows 7 starter (it was bought with Win 7 starter). I have the HP LaserJet 1536dnf printer. I install, it worked well, but every time that I unplug the usb cable from my netbook and plug it in again, windows does not recognize the printer (but oddly enough, regognizes the scanner). So is it possible that I should not install/uninstall the printer each time I plug/unplug the printer?

    Hello

    1. What is the exact error message you get?

2 did you a recent software or changes to the material on the computer?

    Method 1:

Run the tool material and devices and check to see if that fixes the problem:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-hardware-and-devices-Troubleshooter

I also suggest to go through the steps from the link provided and check.

Do not print the print in the English format and symbols jumbled requests. It prints a line on a single document holding all my paper from the paper tray

You driver is the wrong driver or it is damaged. Suggest that you turn the printer off. Now to the computer go into devices and printers and delete the printer. Now turn off the computer and turn it back on and make sure that the printer is no longer in devices and printers. Now turn on the printer and the computer should see the printer and try reloading. If she does not see if it works now. If it does not report back for further instructions.

  • 1536 LaserJet MFP: Installing the full driver software for LaserJet 1536 MFP

I've recently updated (?) from Windows 7 to Windows 10.  At first, that everything worked well.  However, I started to get more notifications and error messages that various HP software or files did not work properly whenever I booted the computer or printed.  To try to solve the problem, I tried to download and reinstall the complete driver package.

Everything seems to work fine until I asked me to connect the printer.  The printer is detected immediately and the process of initialization (before installing) proceeds for several minutes until it got to 99%.  At this point, it remains at 99% for a long time and gives me an error message stop the installation process.

I managed to install a basic printer driver using Device Manager and update of Windows, but this driver doesn't provide limited scanning capabilities.  I really need the HP TWAIN driver scanner that comes with the complete package so I can scan from my document feeder and have 8.5 "x 11" paper scan as paper 8.5 x 11 inches (not 8.5x14).

How do I setup beyond this 99% error process?

    Thanks in advance!

Found the answer to my own question.  Just in case someone else has a similar problem, when subsequently installing full driver, you will receive a list of items that will be installed.  Choose "Customize".  Deselect "HP Toolbox."  Continue with the installation.  When I did, everything has been installed correctly, including the scanner of HP Twain driver.
