LaserJet 1536 dnf: failure scanner laserjet 1536 dnf

After the upgrade to windows 10 (64-bit) analysis feature does not work. I reinstalled the program and it worked for 5 days that he had a number of Microsoft updates and I have observed that the function of scan failed. Scanning interface indicates that it is unable to communicate but the light works and the scanner moves on the flat. Printer and fax functions work.  The drivers for the scanner are not compatible or there is a problem of communication back to the computer security prevents the generation of an image of the OCR.  Multi-funtion printr is on a LAN.

I tried with another computer (windows operating system 7) which is connected wireless and scanning in color function worked. In addition, I installed HP Scan and Capture application available for free from Microsoft store and it works in color on my computer. You will remember that the interface for the HP Laserjet 1536 dnf works B & W and grayscale in all ppp parameters, I'll wait for an update for the drivers of HP and when I need color use HP Scan and Capture software

  • LaserJet 3015: Failure scanner Laserjet 3015

I have an older 3015 AIO who just started giving me a problem scanner.  Half of a scanned page scans black vertically.  Machine will print very well.   I found a "calibration curve" diagnosis and I tried the Red layer, I get a nice curve of the drops which then either nothing or infinite, can't tell which.

Is this a symptom of a scanner unit failure?  Or should I look to connections, motor, or memory?  I want to have the right part on hand if possible when I take the thing out, because it seems that it is not easy to the maintenance manual.

Other diagnoses that might help things pin down?

    Thank you!

So, just to close this topic, he did turn out to be a failure of scan.  My theory is that the scanner is illuminated by LEDs on both sides of the page, and a Bank has failed.  The part number for this printer was RM1-0927, I got by taking it apart.

This morning my 6700 Officejet come with failure scanner error message on his screen and refused to do anything.

It happened that we had bought an another identical Officejet a couple of years, so I plugged that is placed. Everything was fine and I printed a document, but now this evening, this one has the same error message. I tried the solution again and checked that the drivers are up-to-date (which they are) but not joy.

    Help! (please)

Nothing has changed on our Setup - BT wireless broadband, computer Pavilion 23.

    Hello

    Please try the steps below...

While the printer turned on, unplug the power cord from the back of the printer. Wait 60 seconds. Plug the power cord printer directly to a wall jack (bypass surge / power strip) and then to the printer.

Open the scanner cover, and then press black COPY. Check if the scan transport moves and it's on. Transport scan is not turned on or move in all, then its time to replace the printer.

    Welcome to the @Stratford_HP forums

I read about how your new Officejet 8620 shows you a failure "Scanner", leaving you unable to copy, fax and scan. I'm here to offer my suggestion and comments for this question.

Try the steps in this guide for failures to scan first, and if the problem is still apparent, I suggest to call HP to inquire about a replacement printer.

A "Failure of the Scanner" Message appears on the all-in-one control panel and you can not scan, copy, or fax

  • How to tell if your Scanner is not

A Scanner failure occurs when the scan components to address a problem. These problems can be caused by several problems, the two main internal/external electrical malfunctions or scanner bulb problems.

Often the errors may differ on your product. You can have a scanner failure if you see one of the symptoms of follow-up or errors:

    • "Power off and on" the printer or "failure scanner power market.
    • "Scanner system failure.
    • "Can not make copies or fax" or "unable to scan, copy or send a fax.
    • "Scanner failure, power cycle.
    • Scans and copies to produce a document all black.
    • Scans and copies produce vertical lines.

Sometimes, the problem cannot be solved with troubleshooting and must be repaired, at other times, you can solve the problem by troubleshooting documentation or following.

    1. Make sure you have the latest firmware installed. This can be done from the front panel of the printer on some models or is available on the pages for the product HP customer service. HP customer service
    2. When scanning/copying lift the lid of the printer a bit and look to see if the scanner light is on. If it is not the bulb may need to be replaced.
    3. Make sure that the printer is plugged directly into an electrical outlet, not a surge protector. Surge protectors can sometimes prevent a sufficient current to reach the printer and can cause problems with the digitization of parts requiring more electricity. If it is already plugged into a power outlet, it is sometimes best to test the printer in another room that uses a different circuit. It allows to isolate the problem to a faulty plug incase.

According to the error or problem, you will need to try different items of troubleshooting or steps:

    1. Troubleshooting failure of scanner messages, you want to follow the printer reset as described in the article: a 'Scanner failure' message on the all-in-one control panel and you can not scan, copy or f...
    1. To solve the problems of quality of scan such pages black or vertical lines follow the steps in one of the articles below. Select the series of the printer that you have for the appropriate troubleshooting steps:
    2. Other things to try would be if the problem occurs when both color copy or black & white copies.

If the problem persists after all the troubleshooting the chances are that the problem is a hardware problem with the scanner. At this point I suggest you contact HP on the maintenance of the printer to 800-474-6836. You can use the tools below to check your warranty and see the out of warranty repair options.

  • Failure to scan HP CLJ CM4730 MFP 30.01.34

I have one of these with failure scanner error 30.01.34 as well as some mistakes of fan... 57.03 57.06 57.7. One of our IT guys replaced the trainer and the LVPS. No help. The 30.01.34 error does not appear in the maintenance manual, but it seems that the only thing in common with errors is the DC controller... Engine test button does nothing, the device does not print. Anyone got any suggestions? (other that pass on to the next guy)

At the time current diagnoses is not possible, so if I had thoughts that I would at least try spec it.

Remove the cartridges, belt, trainer, fuser, also remove the connection to the Scanner and ADF so I got just the print engine.

See if I get any sign of life to the power upward, if you are fans of spin for example then you have the DC controller is probably working signs.

If not then at least I know that I would be on the base engine failures and would probably be cut as much as possible see what I can do to make it live.

The reason to take the fuser out, the LVPS will continue to fuel the fuser so if she has a defect, it could cause low voltage to trigger.

I would watch just for the spark of life that says he could be alive then work outward.

    Hi claudiopolis,.

I see that you have some problems with the activation of the web services.
I will do my best to help you with this problem.

As he was working previously, I think he might have an auto update on router.

Disable IPv6 on the printer to see if that is causing the problems.

Click the Configuration button (key) network configuration, IPv6, network services and turn it off.

Try to enable web services again.

If you still have questions then I restore the default values for the printer and try the installation again.

Unplug the Ethernet cable from the printer.

Go to the setup button (key) service, restore the default values.

Print the configuration page to find out the IP address.

    Print a Configuration report.

    Select the method.

Access the webserver integrated for the printer again and try to activate web services.

If that does not work then go to the manual select tab, IPv4, network layout, enter the settings disable configuration report. (do not create a new IP address) address preferred DNS: 8.8.8.8 and other DNS address: 8.8.4.4.

Apply the settings and return to the Web Services tab and try to activate again.

Here is a list of printer ports: 137/138/139/161/427/9100/9220/9500.

    Hello

HP has no guarantee that 3rd party supplies will work in our printers. Looking at the Diagnostics pages it seems that you are not printing cyan or yellow. There are steps you can take to try to retrieve not being able to print individual colors. Please see this link:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c02045945

If you cannot print all colors, you run into a problem to scan the alignment page. I think that the question of printing color must be cleared before attempting to align again. How to perform an alignment, please visit this link: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02045945
