x4000b mouse: x4000b - no sign of life

It is not visible to my win 8.1 tablet or my android phone.  I pulled on the block tab and experimenting by pushing the blue botton which is not documented by the way.   I use successfully other bluetooth with the Tablet and phone devices.  I changed the batteries.  I don't see any kind of lights in all point to indicate that it is alive - that I should?

When you removed the lug plastic a shoud blue led illuminated.

Hey Dudu (nice name as a beatle vw :-))

I would recommend the external monitor to check if it s only a bad configuration monitor, screen dead or something wrong with the graphics card.
If you see something on the screen then please check if you switch to the external display device. But if all the parameters are good, and you will be see on the screen of the laptop and the external display, so I guess there must be something wrong with the graphics card.

  • HP ENVY 15 TS - J1Y24EA #ABU: integrated fingerprint reader, no sign of life

    Hello
Recently my fingerprint reader built in nature, will not show any signs of life, it won't be or see the windows settings or smart pass upward. Even when I run my finger on it, it shows no lights, or whatever it is.
When he started, when I opened my laptop, security issue would simply pop up. Meaning that he tried to read my footprint three times. Even though I hadn't touched.

    I'm sorely confused.
I've updated simplepass and she came again.
I tried an update to the Device Manager and the fingerprint reader itself.

I have disabled and einabled it just in case.

I was going to update my laptop, but I would lose so all HP programs, including simplepass. And it would take hours to get it all back again. I really want to try this option.

    Thank you in advance,

    Kverko.

Hello! There, I had so many problems with my reader of fingerprints and here's what I did using fix for awhile

Step 1: Uninstall this driver from the Control Panel Validity WBF DDK

    Step 2: Restart the PC

Step 3: Type in the HP Recovery Manager boot screen

Step 4: Reinstall the Driver Validity WBF DDK

Step 5: It should work now, if it does not repeat the same steps a few times I have to repeat the same steps again

    Good luck!

  • Lenovo 3000 N500 died (signs of life)

    Hello

    I have a Lenovo 3000 N500.

The days before the accident, I had a few blue screens. Due to some forum entries, blue screens messages seems to be related to a hardware error (RAM).

After a blue screen, I couldn't reboot the system. The startup Lenovo screen showed all the time. Then I removed the battery. Since then, the laptop is quite dead. There is absolutely no sign of life: no light shines, no response after pressing the button there.

Fortunately, I was able to get the laptop hard drive to back up my data.

I tried to exchange the RAM, but without success.

You have any other ideas I cound trying to save my laptop?

    Kind regards

  • Tungsten C that show few signs of life.

I have a couple of Tungsten C, that does not illuminate. But when put in an engine cradle, the green lights light up and screens light up white and, in one case, sparkle. They also have the grey Tower after a while. But they show no other signs of life and, when detached from the base, the screens turns off immediately.

I wonder if replacing the battery would do something useful. Or is there any other suggestions?

In addition, I have a couple of other C which works with the same cradle (as do my T2 and T3), so that the cradle and USB connection are OK.

Devices certainly indicate that the batteries are dead.

There are many places online where the batteries can be bought.  And here's one:

    Hi ampterson.

It could be that an add-on is causing this problem. First, click on the Firefox button > help > restart with disabled modules. If this solves the problem, it means one of your Add - ons is the cause. • Satellite L350D - very little signs of life

    Hi all

I'm trying to fix my dad's laptop computer but have problems.
Initially, he had questions of power, have to move around the power cable for the laptop to launch.
Eventually it stopped working. I took a peek and saw that the socket in the laptop has become loose so when the power cable is plugged in it just pushed the loose connector in the case.
I disassembled the phone enough power back the socket where it should be, but the laptop still does not fire, even if the card will now correctly.

There is no light anywhere, and no sign of activity, with the exception of small wireless light near the bottom of the laptop, just in front. Whenever I connect the power, this wifi light flashes.
Surely, this proves that the power is in the machine.

If anyone has any ideas as to what I can try to get it working again, I would be very grateful.
    Thank you.

I agree with you that this means that the laptop is powered and I think that the problem isn t connected to the main power supply.
I guess it must be a serious problem with the motherboard or part (CPU, memory) connected to the motherboard.

The RAM modules are easy to replace. If you have some RAM modules spare good work, you could test it in unity Satellite L350

  • Safari not allowing not the mouse clicks to sign up inside my Weebly Site Builder software

I'm under El Capitan 10.11.2 and safari 9.0.2 on an iMac running 3.5 Ghz Intel core i7 with 24 GB of RAM and using FatCow as my maintenance/Web site host provider and the Weebly Build slide-in my web site software.  All had worked for several months, all of a sudden (yesterday), when I accessed Weebly and try to download a file or an image to one of my Web pages, by clicking on "UPLOAD A FILE" is no more the mouse works.  When I enter the site with one browser other than Safari, everything works.  I then pulled to the top of my Macbook Air under the same OS X 10.11.2 with Safari 9.0.2 entered the web site, pulled up to Weebly and everything works perfectly.  In short, my web site UPLOAD a FILE update issue must be Safari on my i7 iMac.  I tried the cold boots without result.  I would like to remove and reload Safari, because I fear that something is damaged, but am unsure as to how to proceed.  Launch time Machine, I don't know if this is a solution.  Suggestions would be appreciated.

In your Safari menu bar, click Safari > Preferences , and then select the Privacy tab.

Click on: data to remove any Web site

Quit and then restart Safari to test.

  • iPhone 6 no charge, turn on, show signs of life, etc.

    Hello.

I got this iPhone 6 for a month or two. It worked completely fine without any problem other than the occasional freeze. Then, today, the screen flickered and restarted. He went on the Apple logo. I have waited, but in vain. It wouldn't resume. I gave my phone to my cousin, who said this had happened to his iPod touch before and knew how to fix it. I'm not sure of what she was doing (hard starting, perhaps?) but it worked and I was able to use my phone again. After only five minutes, he did exactly the same thing. My cousin has worked his magic again. This time, I decided to stop the phone then just leave. It's a little hot here, but we look I thought that the phone could be too hot. So I plugged it in, turn it off, and made my own thing for about twenty minutes. I'm back and turned on my phone. As always, he went to the Apple logo. I waited and it does not restart, it just stayed on the Apple logo. I gave him a Hard Boot and tried to put it on the Recovery Mode, but that has not worked, it just went to a black screen.

I tried to charge my phone, Hard Boot it once again, but this does not work. I think maybe it's time for a new battery, but keep in mind that there is a new iPhone 6. If it's any help, my old iPhone 6 was a little less than a year when I replaced it an unfortunate accident during a pool party.

I am looking for a cost-effective solution. Help, please!

I'll assume you bought a used phone. If you bought a new phone, you can take it to Apple and they will repair or replace under warranty. If it is used very probably it was broken before you guessed it. You can check the status of the warranty here: Apple - Support - Check Your Service and Support coverage

Phone bought 3 days ago and I fight to turn it on, it's just a black screen, the phone records into iTunes but does not turn, I tried holding down the home button and power at the same time and still nothing, I presume that it's a battery problem as if it was the backlight then the phone vibrated when you press the power button help Please!

Put it on wait ten minutes if the phone did not come one, then hold down the sleep/Home button until you see the apple logo and then release, make sure that the phone is still connected to the charger.

  • iBook G3 running is not on but shows signs of life...

    Hello

I have experience with Mac repair, but not much with the old Mac PowerPC. I got a G3 iBook for almost nothing in a sale at auction, and when I plug it into a charger, the thin battery charges. I now loaded it so that all the lights on the battery are strong.

When I press the power button, MAJ CAPSLOCK, NumLock and the little light on the flash front for like 1/4 of a second, and then they go off. The machine does two very light clicks. The fan on the computer then starts spinning, and the hard drive (I have replaced). It stays on for a few seconds and then shuts.

On the laptop LCD screen is cracked, so I'm assuming that if she turned on, I wouldn't see much until I replaced it, but there is no edge, no second light (except as ¼) and no POST. I have to check/replace the RAM as well as several other components.

I know this laptop isn't much value, but I would like it to work. If it is the logic board, that are not too expensive either.

    It is a model A1005 of 2002. I think it is 12 ".

    Thanks for any help!

    Luke

There was a problem with the connections of a graphics chip welding in some iBook G3 computers. An iBook would then not properly the start-up procedure, and the screen remains dark (sometimes the question could be diagnosed by a change at the clamping/pressing an external area to the left of the trackpad during the boot sequence). However, it may or may not be of interest in this case (with a damaged LCD screen).

  • XPS 410 with no sign of life

I came home today to find my dead XPS 410. I don't get the rotation of the fan, no diagnostic lights, no light on the power switch, nothing. I tested the outlet it is plugged, so this isn't the problem.

I didn't have problems before, so I really have nothing to do.

I guess it's food, but really have no idea. Please give me some tips on how to diagnose and how to replace the power supply if this is the question.

    Thanks for any help!

    jumpyg

First check that all the cables for power and data are correctly connected, including the cables on the front panel.

If you're comfortable working around computers, you can try the following:

Note: The only 100% POWER supply test method, is to install a known working power.

Unplug the power cord, hold the power button in for about 15-20 seconds, open the case, disconnect the power connector 24-pin motherboard and jumping the Green wire to one of the black wires, plug in the power cord and the power of the system, if the PSU, case fans and disk hard drive performance then the power supply can be good.

Note: Do not remove the wires from the plug, use a small piece of wire or a paper clip as a rider.

Extract supply and the system still does not work, yet once remove the power cord, hold button power in a few seconds to discharge residual power, reconnect the connector 24 pin to the motherboard.

Remove any PCI video card [as appropriate], memory cards, all the devices, unplug data cables and power to all readers, check that the cable from the front panel is connected to the motherboard, without anything else connected to the system, reconnect the power cable and power the system on.

If there is no difference in the diagnostic lights, a "Beep" codes and/or the indication of the LED on the power button, it would seem that the motherboard is dead or maybe the processor.

Note: The good news is, processors lack rarely, being the only method I know to check a processor, install a compatible work PC, or use a known job processing.

Alternatively, install a food 'known' work to see if that makes a difference.

XPS410/9200 system does not use an exclusive power of Dell, you can use a standard ATX power supply with either a motherboard 24 power connector pins or 20 + 4 pin main.

This system has an open rear panel, a power supply with or without the on/off switch can be used.

Note: You need a PSU with six SATA power connectors.

It is necessary to buy a decent power to most local computer stores and online.
