    Hi John,.

I imagine the inconvenience that you are experiencing. I'll certainly try and help you in the matter of fixing.

To help you to propose measures to solve the problem, I would appreciate if you could answer the following questions:

    1. are you referring to Windows update?

    2. What is the accurate and complete error message?

3 have you tried the troubleshooting steps to resolve this problem?

You can try the Startup Repair service and check if it helps. If you are not able to perform the Startup Repair, you can perform a System Restore to the date when the computer was working fine and check. (You may be prompted to insert the Windows Vista installation DVD).

Note: When you perform the system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you have installed are removed.

Hope this information was helpful and we provide more information if you need help. We will be happy to help you.

  • BlackBerry 9550 smartphones - cannot load the operating system and a re-boot loop

Sorry if this is going to be a long post.

I've been running OS 428 and a hybrid (428 based) since it was leaked without a hitch. 2 weeks ago, my 9550 rebooted on its own with a JVM ERROR 534 (I think it's the code because the screen just turned white with the error message and then rebooted on its own). He never started up properly then. The boot process dates back to about 3/4 of the way then the FMV of error appears again then re - start. A batt pull does not help.

I wiped and loaded (loader.exe) operating system but when loading cod, it will again restart (reboot occurs when email.cod is loading). Tried several times and never loaded properly. I tried a load OS 428 right and it went well. When it is started successfully, I wiped the device and loaded the hybrid that I used before and everything was fine. When filtered 451, I upgraded and everything is fine - for a week!

He has just restarted on its own again. I think with the same JVM error code! I'm unable to load the operating system using loader.exe. I even tried the "loader.exe /nojvm" switch does not. I wiped with Jl_cmdr or BBSAK, still no go. I then used DM BB. I loaded OS 320 and loaded correctly. Then I wiped and loaded the OS. It is not load or when it loads successfully, the JVM error still appears 3/4 of the way of the boot process.

So when I load OS 320, it will load fine even after a battery pull. If I use OS 428 or 451 (both narrowed via Shrink-a-BONE), JVM error no longer appears when using the device or during the startup process. Don't forget not that previously I was using either straight (shrunken) 428 or 451 and a hybrid with no problems.

I decided to try a derelict OS 451 and used the "Platform.alx" of OS 320 file. It works so far! Pulled the battery about 4 - 5 times already and loaded all my apps and no JVM error for about 2 days. I tried right OS 320 and he also re - will start on its own several times a day.

It looks like completely wipe the device using BBSAK, Jl_cmdr and DM BB do not really completely clear the device.

What could have caused the reboots and error JVM?

EDIT: I tried to wipe the device using the erase option in the security options. The status bar has reached 100% and then restarting the device, the FMV of error pops up again and my 9550 goes back to a continuous process of reboot (even pulled the battery).

EDIT: I tried the command line "javaloade.exe usb - cloth" to wipe the device and the OS loaded (using loader.exe /nojvm) very well. In the end, shippers said "updated successfully". The unit restarted and about 3/4 of the way - another jvm error! I removed the battery and wait a few minutes before re - insert and is currently the starting now... Will update what's going to happen...

EDIT: Yes! It finally starts. Will try an another battery pull... 1/4 of the way in which the boot process - another JVM error! Pulled the battery and restart... Error JVM still about 50% in the boot process.

EDIT: Can't get any OS to load using 'loader.exe' or 'loader.exe /nojvm. It stops during email.cod loading, then restarts. I was able to load OS 320 well via BB DM. problem is when I click on Options, error: "error starting net_rimm_bb_options_app: symbol KeywordFilteredScreen.» KeyChar "not found" is my watered device? Help, please. Thank you!

EDIT: I tried to load the operating system by:

    -remove the battery.

    -Connect to the PC.

    -Command prompt: command /nojvm loader.exe

-When it says connection to the device and the battery with a red 'X' icon is displayed, I re - insert the battery.

-The operating system loads very well but are unable to properly start like 3/4 of the progress bar startup occurs an error in the JVM and then reboot again. Help!

--> Was able to start properly after a second reboot not forced. Will try a battery pull... JVM error again... Will allow it to boot on his own w/o a battery pull...  Error JVM... Removed the battery, re - insert... Error JVM... allowed to start on its own... Error JVM!... I remove the battery and reinsert after 5 minutes... JVM error yet... What is it recharges without end?

Just had my 9550's replaced and all of the good mother!

How to bring back my original Windows 7.1?

Thanks for the info.  Guess I didn't.  I found that I had already installed sp1.

I was cast, it was the fact that the number of items in the original loaded operating have been changed or missing on the restored OS.

    Hello

I can't say with certainty what may be the problem but maybe HDD (hard drive) is a troublemaker.

Start your laptop and press F2 to enter the BIOS settings. Check if the HARD drive is recognized and registered properly on the page. Load the settings by default using F10, then restart your laptop.

    The same thing happens again?

Hi, I have a computer laptop satellite a300 and when I boot the system I get an error message "Error loading operating system" - if some kind posters can help me on this issue, it would be much appreciated.

The BIOS recognize the drive? Check in the BIOS.

You can start in safe mode?
If you go into the advanced boot menu, select Repair my computer, and then select Toshiba Recovery option. This procedure reinstalls the operating system.

This feature is only available with a preinstallation of Windows Vista. If you have Windows XP, you must use the CD.

  • Satellite A300-288 does not load the operating system

    Hello everyone.

Today I turned on my laptop A300 and does not load the operating system. In other words, Toshiba logo appears, the message "Press F2 to enter SETUP", but not in continuity with the boot. Yesterday it worked and did not update the BIOS or something else.

Someone has an idea? I deleted a both SDRAM and vice versa, to check that the problem wasn't RAM, but no. There is no beep. LED touch 'NumLock' and other, power on and off when I have impulses, so the keyboard responding but by pressing F2 or F12 does nothing.

Thank you very much for your help.

Start your laptop with F8 and test if you can start the operating system in safe mode.

  • Error loading operating system - version of WHS disks

    I have an old MSI k9 & AMD x 2 4600 + Im running WHS v1 (but I don't think it's a problem WHS).

Moments ago, the server crashed (bad discs).  First, the configuration of this system has always had a problem starting from cd/dvd player and always been specific as to which SATA connection is used to start a disk of. In the past, I had to build a system disk / boot on another pc then it switch.

I did now, twice. The reconstruction on the main PC went without a hitch. The new boot disks joyfully on the main PC. I transferred the drive (s) in the server box, and I get the error "error loading operating system".

I tried to connect to all of the SATA ports in turn, with different cables, including one that was on the other PC. I removed all other players to avoid confusion.  Software diagnostic WD gives readers a certificate of good health.  BIOS identifies the present disc, and it is configured to boot from it as first choice.

The BIOS is the same as it was when buying - but this version has 2 previous builds to get

I have to believe the following

    1. the discs are good, and the construction is lilkely ok.

    2. the cables are also correct.

    So the fault (s) are:

    1. the SATA controller has ceased to be particular that disc it starts from, allow no boot at all, so a fault of SATA controller

    2. There is something in the full version, which is connected to the main computer - maybe I should stop the construction earlier and swap discs then?

    3. a BIOS setting is in the way and I can't.

    4. something else is at fault

Its the thing that bothers me and so I hope that someone can suggest what I could try next. I Apologise if this isn't the right place for this, I am new to this sort of thing. Best regards, Michael

  • "Error loading operating system" after windows update

I have an ASUS EeePc netbook model: 1005PEB. Last night before going to bed, I stopped the netbook and it has begun to install and configure windows was last updated. I left on the office do its thing and went to bed. This morning, I got the netbook and it went out of the car and it turned on while I was about to leave the House (before ask you, no I ' was not flying). He started installing all the updates that it had installed the night before. It has gotten to the point where it installed the last element and hung up there. I leave a this screen for 45 minutes and nothing has changed. I went against my better judgment and off the netbook. When I went immediately to turn it back on all I get is "error loading operating system". I tried to use F8 to try to start it in safe mode and I can always access the BIOS. How do I get this service still? I don't have really any data here, I'm too preoccupied. Thanks for any help anyone can offer.

    Hi argyle_83,

Were you able to boot into safe mode?

This problem can occur if your computer's BIOS does not correctly manage or support the capacity of the hard disk on which you install Windows 7. You can try the steps below to resolve this issue.

  • Error loading operating system in Windows XP

My machine was working fine and then restarts, showed the message "error loading operating system" and does not start.  Any suggestions on the best way to recover? I have not tried anything that either still, wanted to determine the best approach to avoid damaging the data that can be retrieved.  The machine was loaded with XP SP3 and all the Microsoft updates current.  The XP OS disk I have is very old, pre-SP1, so when I had to build my mmachine in the past, I had to go through the process of loading all the service packs and updates.  You do not know if using this CD of OS in an attempt to repair the operating system on the hard drive will do more damage than good.  Suggestions anyone?

  • Error loading operating system (Win XP Pro);

On a clean IBM T40 (old) laptop, after succesfull re-install of Win XP SP3, Office 2007 and other members of the staff, I made the mistake to invoke the backup/restore preinstalled internal IBM software. This caused the system to boot a new partition hidden in order to backup, but something went wrong, system broke down and nothing worked. I ' v has managed to recover everything in partition magic, reactivate my main partition, deleting the hidden partition and if I start the system using an external bootable CD appears as the Windows CD, or any other - it seems that everything is on my drive HARD (c).
My HARD disk system initialization returns an error: "error loading operating system".  I tried Fixboot and FixMBR from the Console, but it does not solve the problem.
Looks like what I need is the eqvivalent of the old fashioned the ' sys c ", in the days back/Win3.x. Any help? /CE
