  So my laptop crashed the last time because of some power failure and because I couldn't charge more after that my house was without electricity, I sent my laptop back to HP repair service and they changed motherboard with cable charging within the insurance and all works again. I am very satisfied with the service and have no problems at all, but the question is that I wonder if they cleaned the fan after they fixed my laptop otherwise, I let someone clean from inside but I wonder if his need because it was just repaired but I don't know if they clean it by them self to HP repair service.

  If long story short, they clean the fan before and after they fixed my laptop?

  They were probably reused the old fan and I do not know that they have cleaned before re-use. No technology worthy of his name would do otherwise. You could blow compressed air into the slot to aeration with a paper clip, stop the fan from spinning. I'm fairly certain that no dust will soar. If they do not have to clean the fan, you would see the dust.

• Y510P laptop computer startup problems

  Starting the machine up to the computer hangs at the LENOVO white text on black screen forever. The computer only beginning will be properly once the computer is reset as soon as this step, then began again to power off. I have tried everything I can think of, I'v since the bios reset to factory default and need more qualified assistance. It's how portable computer was purchased and has never worked properly. Help, please! Laptop Lenovo Y510P. 64-bit windows 8 dual video card in the additional location. Software installed at the factory that accompanies it in store for most.

  I couldn't find an email address of Lenovo support if you know please share.

  According to the request, we understand that you are facing problem with laptop does not start your laptop Y510p.

  Please perform power drain by removing all external devices and shut down the system, now remove the battery and the adapter. Now, press on and press and hold power for 30 seconds and connect the battery and the adapter and try turning on the system and try to boot the system.

  It won't cause problems, but this adapter can be suggestions for your laptop. I would contact them with regard to it because they may have ordered the 90-Watt adapter, if there is not in stock, he could have subbed out to an acceptable adapter that may be due to the difference in power.

• W32time Service question

  I have a small question: the Date and time settings box shows that my system is configured to automatically synchronize the system clock periodically.  I can manually trigger a synchronization operation, and subsequently the Task Manager indicates that W32Time is running.  But after a reboot, I noticed that the W32Time service stops.  What I need to change the start for this service method (and if so, how?) or the scheduling of the vote is to initialize the service?  In other words, is it W32Time herself who implements the scheduling of the vote, or is this schedule controlled by an external process to the W32Time service?  Thank you very much for your help.

  Windows has a lot of moving parts, and I don't pretend to understand how everything in Windows works together.

  However, I can tell you the following facts based on my system Windows 7 Pro

  1. The time Service Windows (W32Time) has a "Manual" Startup type and does not start when Windows starts.
  2. However, the Scheduler (calendar) service has a "Automatic" Startup type and start at Windows startup.
  3. There is a scheduled task that is created by the system, named "SynchronizeTime" located in the library of the Task Scheduler under \Microsoft\Windows\Time synchronization.  This task runs under the user account "LOCAL SERVICE", will run with the highest privileges, but does that if the computer is not on the power of the battery (it is a desktop computer) and it is a kind of network connection.   The task is "activated" and the "trigger" is "weekly, at 01:00 every Sunday of every week from 01/01/2005."  The measures taken at the start of the task is to run the following program: %windir%\system32\sc.exe start w32time task_started
  4. The Sc.exe program "communicates with the controller and services installed," who demand makes task is to start the w32time service.
  5. The value of "SpecialPollInterval" in the registry location that you mentioned is 604800 - which is be the number of seconds in 7 days.
  6. The events in the system log, shows that time is, in fact, synchronized every 7 days.

  My point of view from the foregoing is that you don't have to configure the W32Time service to start automatically, because the scheduled task will begin whenever it is necessary to make the time synchronization.  I don't know what stops the service.

  It seems that somehow the value in the registry to

  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\W32Time\TimeProviders\NtpClient\SpecialPollInterval

  is picked up by Task Scheduler.  As I said, don't ask me how this happens.

  After writing all that, if your system works to your satisfaction the way in which you have configured now, worry no more.

• Duplicate laptop service Tags

  I ran an audit on the laptop computers of the company recently and discovered 2 of them (Latitude E4310s) had the same serial number. I contacted Dell and they said that it probably happened when a motherboard has been replaced by one of their technicians and incorrect serial number has been entered.

  I tried all methods I can find online, regardless of age, reset the tags I can find (Dell command configure, cctk.exe, asset.com, svctag.exe etc) nothing works.

  Therefore, anyone know of a way to change the serial number on a Dell Latitude E4310 without becoming involved with Dell out of warranty?

  We had a technician today to repair a laptop. It proposed to change the serial number for us using the various utilities that he had on his staff of data. However none of the public services he had (including all of those mentioned above) worked.

  It seems that it is not possible to change the serial number for a Latitude E4310 and the only way is to replace the motherboard.

• Buyer beware - Dell XPS 2720 - Service questions feed

  I am the owner of 3 Dell XPS 27 "all in UNITS.  I have a 2710 and 2720 two.  Recently, one of my 2720's refused to start, so I place a call to service with Dell.  It turns out that food is shorted the motherboard, so the motherboard power AND must be replaced.  To this day and 15 days later, my $2,000 XPS system still does not.

  I had to take two days off for two separate service calls, that which Dell sent incorrect feeding.  After hours on the phone trying to settle this point and the technician on-site, take pictures of the question, I'm still without the use of this computer.

  For a device that is supposed to have weekday, Dell failed miserable on this repair.  Not to mention the overseas call centers are unnecessary and could care less how much time I had.

  I have been a loyal consumer of Dell for many years, it will be the LATEST Dell product I ever buy.  There is no place to raise this issue in my own country, and I was told not to contact Dell more because they "are working how to solve the problem.  It is totally unacceptable for such a large company.

  I'm having the same problem did you ever fix correctly and have you been able to do everything yourself easily?

  We are on Oracle 11 G and we got a request from one of our external suppliers to send the data via web services. They use the MS .net technology to their end.

  I am not quite aware of the web service or their mode of operation. Could someone explain in simple English on what we need to do starting end 11 G from Oracle to send data via a Web Service.

  I don't know what questions I need to ask the seller, because they ask us to send data in XML format.

  Assistance or direction on this front is greatly appreciated.

  In simple terms, a Web service possesses two elements

  Service-the one hosting the service and is available over http via endpoint, she understands and accepts data in accordance with the agreement (contract)

  Consumer/customer - will search for the Service and calls or sends a request to the Service according to the contract (wsdl).

  (Optional) request and Responses are defined in the WebService WSDL contract (hosted by the Service)

  In your case, if you need to send the data in XML format via http to the seller, then

  1. the seller must be hosting Webservice, so ask for the WSDL document

  2. try to access the WSDL in a browser and understand the request and response structures and what she expected

  3 create a Web Service client in accordance with this contract (WSDL) and call the Web service passing the query in XML data

  Hello smillington123, the mozilla maintenance service is only used during the procedure of updating firefox to a new version - so it is normal that the service is not running all the time.
