  Here are a few parameters to change on your adapter wireless for better performance.

  Turn on and off then on all devices on the network

  1. Turn off the power to the broadband modem and let the modem broadband disconnected for at least 3 minutes.
  2. Shut down all computers that are connected to the network.
  3. Remove power from the wireless router.
  4. Check that a network cable is connected the modem to broadband in the Internet or the wireless router's WAN port.
  5. Check that no series cables or USB are connected to the Modem on broadband.
  6. Connect the power supply to the modem broadband. Wait at least 2 minutes for the Broadband Modem to initialize.
     (If the Modem does not provide Internet connection successfully, unplug the Modem. Wait at least 5 minutes, then plug the Modem back.)
  7. Connect the power supply to the wireless router. Wait at least 2 minutes for the wireless router to initialize.
  8. Turn on the computer and try to connect to the Internet.

  Difficulty of wireless network connections

  Turn off airplane Mode

  For Dell Wireless adapters:

  1. In the Search box, type Device Manager.
  2. Press or click (Control Panel) Device Manager.
  3. In the Device Manager window, click on the sign of the arrow next to network adapters.
  4. Double click or double-click the Référence Dell Wireless WLAN Card.
  5. Click the Advanced tab.
     Note: These options are not available according to the installed wireless adapter.

  After the upgrade to Windows 7 to 10, some printed documents very well while others print in close columsns of 15 letters causing a document 1 page run 6 to 8 pages long and useless.

  I downloaded the latest driver from HP and used their diagnostic tests.  I used Windows Diagnostics.  They suggest no action.  I contacted Microsoft 3 times and technicians turned out to be unnecessary; It was suggested that finally back to Windows 7.  The printer works just great.  This printer is no longer under warranty.  I have a same printer which works well on another computer running Windows 10.

  Please follow these steps to try to resolve the problem:

  1. open outlook

  2. double-click on the email address that you want to print (the email must open in a separate window)

  3. click on file and then print

  4. in the print window, select your printer and click Print below options.

  5. in the window options printing, make sure that the print style is set to memo, and then click Page layout

  6. click the paper tab, and set the margins to 0.50 '' on all sides. Also make sure the paper type and size is set to letter.

  Good so I had to update my post because I had to give the good news! However, that is how I am and I almost try everything and tinkering with different things. My audio works now. I went back the download Acer drivers and manual for my camera and I checked under 32-bit Windows 8, which was windows available. I installed my ID which has been deleted before when I had restarted or any number of things, I tried, and then I went in Drivers and installed the Master Installer. I made sure that I extracted all the files before proceeding with the installation. After it restarted my laptop I heard the Windows startup sound and I knew that it worked because I had no sound at all before. Not sure why it worked, but it did!   Just thought it should be mentioned that the lost product key of installed software (legitimately) on upgrades of machines pre windows can be retrieved from the file created 'windows.old' on the C: drive, using key finder software. It saved me forking out good money for buying again the likes of office etc because I had lost the key of product from the purchase.

  Notice of the Microsoft support Web site and my software (software4students.co.uk) retailer was to give up and re-buy.
