I will try to suggest a few things you can do to test one we hope to get this up and ongoing run as you expect.

• Why windows live mail gives me the error code 80048820 0 x if I boot windows before establishing my broadband connection?

  I have recently upgraded to windows 7 with a flash drive.  Windows starts now in 30 seconds - which is a lot less time that it takes my router broadband (wired connection to my PC) to start and establish an internet connection.

  If I switch both on the freezer, boot windows right now, Windows Live Mail will not download my emails from Hotmail, it gives me the error message I pasted below.  It will not work until I have restart windows.
  If I wait until my router is initialized and has established a connection, then on windows startup, the emails work fine.
  If I have the error and then restart, then I can check my emails OK.
  It seems that if windows 7 can not detect an active internet connection when it starts, it initiates this error...
  Any ideas?

  I tried to use Netflix in Vista Windows Media Center (WMC) last night and got an error. The error says I need to check your internet connection.  I checked the connection and it worked.  Also in IE8 I logged into my Netflix account and released a video of my Instant queue.  This proves that my internet connection and a Netflix account working. I tried to re-login to Netflix of WMC, but once again the message on checking the internet connection appears.  I restarted the PC, but that did not fix the problem. Netflix I uninstalled and reinstalled, no not yet fixed.  Can anyone help?  I've been a happy user of WMC-Netflix for several months (so far).  Notice, 2 security patches Windows automatically installed yesterday before I tried to use Netflix.

  I just noticed that NetFlix had started working again for me with Windows Media Center. Mysteriously, as if by magic... it seems to have fixed itself after just a few weeks!

  In the Yahoo toolbar Yahoo mail gives more notifications of new messages since upgrading to FF 4.0 and the latest version of the Yahoo toolbar.

• 'Connection error' video example RTMP, used to work, now no longer works?

  Hi all

  I had together developer FMS 3.5 installed on my server installed a month ago. I used to be able to go to the /webroot/ page to see the video RTMP sample show and it worked very well. Today, I'm going to view this page and find that he's not playing. I get "connection error. Please preee play to try again. »

• After the update to 38.4.0 compaction to zero my Inbox and I can no longer connect to yahoo mail.

  I had used TB for the years through to many updates of OS without any disasters, but after taking TB 38.4.0 all hell broke loose. (Note: I am still running XP.) A compact emptied my Inbox of hundreds of emails... the worst problem. I looked at other threads and I see there is a universal theme that it is my fault for compaction do not quite often. After the suggestion of another thread, I deleted popstate.dat, but that made no difference. (popstate.dat is not be recreated). I tried to send an email and all signs in TB it was sent but it never arrived at its destination. (I hate silent failures!) Close and restart TB several times and the results were always the same. Then I realized something simple and obvious. TB do not have to give me my password to connect to Yahoo, when I start TB. What is happening with this? I have no idea what needs to be changed or fixed! I'm almost ready to start using Outlook.

  I think that your anti-virus is having a cow. Try to restart the operating system in safe mode with network. This loads only the basics needed to start your computer while allowing Internet access. Click on your operating system for instructions on how to start in safe mode: Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, OSX

  If the safe mode for the operating system to resolve the problem, there are other software on your computer that is causing problems. The possibilities include but not limited to: AV scanning, virus/malware, background downloads such as updates of the program.

  You cannot set up Yahoo webmail in Windows Mail.

  Windows Mail only supports POP3 and IMAP E-mail accounts not Web Site based accounts (EX: Hotmail or Yahoo) unless they are paid versions with the POP3 option.

  If you are willing to pay, there are more than Yahoo!, which can be used in Windows mail.
