• YouCam software problem!

  Hi all

  I could not install an update of HP drivers and downloads from the web site of the YouCam software that came with my HP Pavilion dv5-1009tx Entertainment PC. When I run the update it says that an older version of the YouCam software is already present and must be removed before installing the upadate. I click the button provided Yes and he begins to remove the software and then it pops up this message,

  I click on the OK button only provided in the message window and then the installation process stops and the software is uninstalled or updated.

  I finally managed to fix the problem. Called and if is maintained with the Support of HP, but the problem could not be resolved. Has taken the initiative to browse the pages of support from Cyberlink.com for YouCam software and found the answer on how to uninstall the software. Correctly uninstalled and reinstalled the HP website was last updated. Now I have a working software and its not more awkward!

• Anyone know how to recover my youcam 2.0 software on an HP g70-250us?

  I had a problem with getting my laptop to cooperate when I finally decided to set up yahoo messenger to use the youcam software on my pc.  I tried to go on CNET and see if it would change the problem to download it again.  I've gone and came to realize that he deleted the software for version 2.0 and started to download an evaluation version of 5.0 to the YouCam made by Cyberlink (in case anyone was wondering).  Did anyone suggest or know that I can do to screw my head back on the straight and correct my mistake?  I'm not much of a guy from the computer in case you can't tell.

  Just bought a new laptop from HP ENVY m6. CyberLink YouCam 5 pre-installed cam. I can open the software and it seems to work fine, but when I try to access the settings of the computer freezes and crashes. I end up having to hold down the power button to force a shutdown.

  It can help to update the software. You can download the latest patches here: YouCam software - update

  It would also be useful if you could open event (type eventvwr in the search to start) Viewer, select the Windows logs in the left column and selected Applications. In this list, find the critical errors that say the crash of the Application or Application Hang and reference your YouCam software. Send the contents of the general tab in your response.

  OK so I have a Pavilion G6, product number C5U60UA #ABA, with 8 64-bit windows and I just installed the new version of Youcam software pre-installed. This new software v.3 Youcam Deluxe 5-4 then I install this and as soon as I run it for the first time I get BSOD. Safe mode works very well and that's what I'm using now, as I get the error code video_TDR_Failure (atikmpag.sys) can anyone help

  I'm sorry that you run on this issue with YouCam 5. The error you provided points to an ATI driver file. This suggests that your ATI driver can be exceeded. I would like to know your BIOS version and the version of the ATI driver, please.

  To find your current version of the BIOS, press the FN + ESC keys and search for "F. #'. Let me know what it is.

  To find your current version of the ATI,

  1. press on the Windows key + X

  2. click on Device Manager

  3. expand graphic cards

  4. double-click on AMD/ATI Radeon

  5. click on the driver tab

  6 let me know the version number

  In fact, if I remember correctly, the driver of the webcam comes with the Cyberlink YouCam software. You can try to uninstall and test it with Skype. • OfficeJet Pro L7555: Officejet Pro L7555 complete software will not add printer

  I installed the complete software of features on an Alienware laptop.  The printer is connected to my router wireless via an ethernet cable.  When I try to add the printer, the software identifies the printer, contact the printer, but after completing 50% of installation I get the big red 'X' with Setup failed failed message.  repeated tests end up with the same result.  Tried two doctor scanning and printing and Printer Setup Wizard and both recognize the printer but will not be in place.  the installation wizard cancels download immediately after the start, while the doctor print and scan refer me to the site to install full software that puts me to the square.

  In the reconstruction of the hard drive on my Alienware Laptop M11, I think I've identified the software that caused the problems.  I installed windows Basic, then immediately installed the HP Officejet software without any problems.  However, as I have installed other software I discovered that "Cyberline Youcam" software seemed to have removed the printer and a fax from my list of installed devices.  I removed the Cyberlink software and managed to reinstall printer/fax devices.  You might want to leave HP company know so that they can continue the investigation.  Thanks again for the help.
