  • Printing support (USB 3.0 is not compatible)

    Hey,.

The problem of the day is: my Xerox Phaser 3122 does not work with Win8 (or so I think). There is no drivers and none are planned, so I'm pretty much gave up that deal overall.
Now as a last resort I just the troubleshooted and compatibility mode used on each .exe I could find which is connected and received a message saying: "USB printing support is a USB device that is older and may not work with USB 3.0", "try connecting to a USB 2.0 port.» Then, click Next. ». (no joke it really doesn't).
So here's the real question: is there a way to update or install a newer version of 'support' printing so it would be compatible with the 3.0, or maybe there's a way so somehow adapt a 3.0 2.0 (sorry do not understand much in the headers and the ports...).

    Thanks for the help,
    David.

    Hey Ross,

I suggest you to disable and re-enable the USB controllers. The following steps will uninstall all the USB controllers and then re-install:

    a. right click on Startand then click run.

    b. type devmgmt.msc , and then click OK. Device Manager opens.

    c. expand Bus USB controllers.
Note: You will need to scroll down to find this point.

    d. right-click the first USB controller under USB Bus controllersand then click Uninstall to remove it.

    e. Repeat step 4 for each USB controller is listed under Bus USB controllers.

Note: Restart the computer. After the computer starts, Windows will automatically check for changes on the hardware and reinstall all USB controllers that you uninstalled.

  • printer supported for XP sp3 with 32-bit

Have a laptop with XP Pro 32 bit SP3.  In the search for printers many users said that they had problems with all the functions on HP, epson printers.  You want to get an all in one printer wireless fax, prints, copies and scans which is supported by XP pro I on the laptop.  Confused by the comments of the users and the lack of info online.  If these comments are exaggerated or is there a printer in landscape of Home/office that works for all functions with fear?

first of all, if your laptop has xp on it, then it is likely, it can support wireless printing.  Instead, wireless connectivity you have is dedicated to internetting.

but it does not mean that you can not buy a wireless print server to use for a wireless printer.  but my recommendation is to avoid this high-tech stuff at the moment because you will incur costs and headaches.

Instead, you should be able to take advantage of the technology of usb hub.  so, instead of buying a wireless print server, buy a usb hub.  and instead of being fascinated with a wireless printer, opt for the usb printer.

regarding the printers are compatiable for what operating system? generally, all the boxes are clearly marked with the operating system, with which the printer is compatiable.

However, because you do due diligence, copy down the model number of the printer you are interested with and do a final check to their homesite.  Then look on the homesite in the "downloads" section to see if the model has drivers and updates for xp.

also, you can do an internet search to find previous discussions and or questions about templates and and you can even post a follow-up question on this forum to check our recommendations.

Since you are interested in a landscape of Home/office of the derivation of printers color and go directly to a laser printer. in my personal experience, hp should be top of the list.

laser printing is the enterprise standard and cartridges laser last a good long time compared to cartridges color cheese and very expensive.  In addition, buy a separate scanner and a separate fax machine.   These three components are much better than an all in one device.

Finally, if you need color printing, then it is cheaper to get your color photos, prints by Wal-Mart online than using paper photo at home and expensive color cartridges.

  • C7280, windows 7 x 64 drivers 13.1.0 no front automatic no reverse side printing support!

Hi all, well I have a new installation of windows 7 x 64 runing fine.

Today installed the latest drivers for full features of Windows 7 X 64 version 13.1.0 from the HP website.

I see no support in the new drivers for AUTOMATIC two face of printing using the duplexer.

There are print MANUAL two-sided, but it's a joke...

    Someone else noticed this?

    Thank you

    tkinkley

Hi Bob, I solved my problem with windows 7 and the driver installation c7280 does not allow me to activate the duplexer.

Today I tried to install it again but this time I unplugged the usb cable to the printer before starting the installation.

I then plugged in when the software asked me to and this time I was able to go to the settings of the device and activate the module duplex (double-sided printing)

So far you people there unplugg printers usb cable before starting the pilot of c7280 windows 7 install and everything should work fine with two-sided printing after you activate it.

    Separated from this thread.

    Mahesh,

I had a same problem, followed your recommendations and everything worked fine for a day and a half. Now I get the same error again.   Are there any additional settings or changes I do that can keep it works?

    Thank you!

    Hello

Please contact Microsoft Community. I will surely help you this question.

To better understand the issue, I would need more information on your side.

    1. What is the brand and model of the USB device?
    2. the problem occurs only with a specific USB device?

    3. What is the brand and model of the computer?

This problem might have occurred because of these reasons:
    1 USB drivers are corrupt.

    2. USB port does not work.

    3. hardware issue.

I suggest you run the hardware troubleshooter to check if it helps.

    (a) press the Windows key + C on your keyboard to display the bar of charms.

    (b) type of Troubleshooting , and then click solving problems under settings.

    (c) now, type Hardware Troubleshooter in the option Search .

I just bought my printer and connected to the HP ePrint center and found that there are apps like my smartphone!  But when I look at the application and select Add to the printer, nothing happens.  Is it because the apps are not supported on my model? Thank you.

    Hi Carmic1975,

Your printer model supports all functions ePrint, with the exception of the apps.  The printer supports the quick forms, but it's the only application that the printer can support.

  • Virtual Printing PCoIP clients Linux support?

Does anyone know if virtual printing is supported on PCoIP when clients connecting from Linux based on?

I work well with XP (or XPF) virtual printing clients who connect on PCoIP for view 4.5 XP VM.

But does not work when connecting to the same virtual light based client Linux machine.  HP thinpro t5745.

It works on thin client based on Linux, the connections to the VM even RDP Protocol.

I have a HP LaserJet 2100 printer IP address definined network locally.  Works very well on the spot and when connecting from XP.

    Thank you

This matrix is 1 1/2 years old, but I thinkit is still valid. There is no TP / Virtual printing support for the Linux Client.
