  Check a second time, it has not been deleted.

  • Open your Hub.
  • Three points icon > settings.
  • Press display and Actions.
  • Scroll down to "Delete on.." and make your choice.

• Torch died after the last update blackBerry Smartphones

  I've just updated the operating system on my torch last night that I went to do other things. It is remained plugged into my laptop at night, period during which the laptop came into fashion 'sleep'. When I opened this morning, the dialog box of BlackBerry says that the update has been completed successfully to the top of the screen. However, I was able to turn on the phone at all. I get no light, no sound, nothing! What are my options?

  Unplug the unit from the PC and remove the battery for a few minutes.  Replace the battery and see if the device starts up.

  My PC has tried to install the driver update today, and two attempts failed after installation. There is no diagnostic messages, only the X on the last stage to indicate a failure. Siri, I don't want to bother with earlier, continues to display everytime I try to go back to the home page of apps/programs, is driving me crazy.  Except for limited iPad usage (mail, Safari for the links from emails, play music, some reading books mainly) mainly am only moderately competent Windows PC user, so am frustrated at best. Any ideas on how to restore or add this feature to return search (and get Siri shut up!)?

  You can disable Siri in settings/general if you want to completely disable the function.  I suppose that you use the Home button to return to the home screen.  If you press the button too long, Siri is enabled.  Too long is not very long, so you must quickly press and release the Home button.

The router would not let me with the URL despite trying several times. I contacted Plusnet who recognized, I had a problem and offered to restart the router that has not worked. Then, they suggested a factory reset by putting a PIN in the reset hole at the back and connecting a cable between your laptop and the router back my ID and password.   It could be purely coincidental... something could have been wrong with your router as you did the update for BB. Or, it could have been caused by the BB... There are bugs in some of the oldest levels of BB10 OS that caused strange problems for people on their WiFi connections.   OK, so to get started on a positive-, I was the greatest defender of Blackberry over the last 3 years and found a phone really easy to just pick up and use without having to spend a lot of time with the user manuals. I started on a torch and use the BB Z10 now. I found the switch, nice and easy & liked the two phones. So far, bar the odd gripe, I loved using Blackberry.

  I got a notification update to OS 10.3.1.2243 (no matter how many times I've read in my opinion, he would have to keep changing to no read and start flashing again) who was a nuisance, but I needed to sort out first through my notifications and remove FB as the last update I did , restored ALL my FB notifictions because I had on the phone, so no doubt necessary to avoid this scenario.

  I could see there were a few changes - layout different, easier to remove messages, etc. which is great, HOWEVER, I'm really disappointed by the way he has messed my phone I've ever had before. Now there is a new line in BBM that didn't exist not before bringing the message as I type, I can't actually see what I'm typing. Every time I unlock my phone, my screen widens so I don't really see much on the hub/notification screen and it defaults to the hub that it did not before), my ringtone is much softer it was previously and BBM no longer has a ringtone. WhatsApp, (the winner today of the sending of the messages that I can see what I'm typing) has done a tone, but it is really soft, so not only I don't see what I'm typing, but I can't hear when I receive a message either, even if it is a person who has a specific ringtone for BBM

  My opinion of keep freezing (maybe when I am watching notifications by email, Facebook, etc) and some of my keys keep freeze when I'm typing (p is the worst) and generally using my BB very irritating. In fact there are times I'm so irritated I want to throw my phone on the floor and jump on it. There is nothing wrong with the phone as it worked perfectly before the upgrade, so it must be bugs in the new operating system which is not good at all because these problems should have been ironed out before publication.

  Someone know me how to solve this problem or can tell me when the next update is to fix bugs? It's all good and well add all of these features, but if they ruin bases, none of this is important, and if I was toward the end of my contract, I would definitely not go Blackberry which is a shame because I have never had a problem before updating with BB.

  You can disable the magnifying glass:

  device settings > accessibility > magnifier fashion > OFF

  You can disable the "reset to see Hub:

  Hub > overflow (bottom right button) > settings > display and actions > back to Default View when idle > OFF

  Thanks for your reply, but I doubt that flash player is related to do with Java.

  And the Java applet crashing in my browser, I guess, should not be linked to my graphics driver, especially since the only update that took place was an update of firefox.

  In any case, Firefox for some reason any launches 2 additional tabs when executing the Java Applet (IE does not work). In the past, I'm used to close the first tab, since it contains nothing except an Oracle logo.

  Firefox 30 spent some less commonly used "Always turned on" plugins "asking to activate. To check and change this to SimplePass, you can use the page modules. Either:

  • CTRL + SHIFT + a
  • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

  In the left column, click on Plugins. Then on the right, check the control on the right side of the SimplePass.

  You may need to exit Firefox and start it again before it takes effect.

  Fixed. I removed the Remote, reloaded app to my iPhone and then reinstated the info Apple ID and password in the app all connected immediately. The 'Remote' option is not always present under file/devices/Remote, but everything works well at this point.
