• Z10 broken blackBerry torch USB - how to transfer Contacts to Z10

  Anyone know how to get contacts for the Z10 to a Torch 9860 other than Bluetooth each contact one by one?  My USB port on my old phone is broken and cannot be fixed without replacing the complete Platinum!

  I used the Blackberry Protect on my Torch 9860, and I see the back upward when I connect.  I just can not restore anything to my Z10.

  Here's the answer (using the same SIM card to copy and transfer):

  (1) have the SIM card in the torch. Select the Setup icon on the torch

  (2) device selector

  (3) select the Option to copy the data from your SIM card and let it copy.

  (4) switch the SIM card in the Z10.  Go to the icon of installation on the Z10

  (5) device selector

  (6) select data transfer and leave it to copy.

  It takes a few minutes for the Z10 everything coming from the card SIM the Z10, but SO relieved to see come back all my stuff!

  My problem is solved when I remove my email Office of pop and configured in microsoft exchange ActiveSync.As our office email with exchange so IT tooks all settings.so Mei pre-configured back with Blackberry.

  Hello. I'm new to this forum and hope someone can help out. I have a locked Z10 and I am on a mobile phone service provider if it makes a difference. I called AT & T, and they suggested that I try to back up my phone by logging into Blackberry link and/or Blackbery Blend. I tried to do both and link does not allow me to log on because it recognizes my phone is locked. I logged on Blackberry Blend using my ID BB however it says I need to activate BlackBerry mixture on my phone to synchronize. I obviously can't do it because I don't remember my password.

  Is another that tries to enter any other passwords incorrect 10 times and my phone being wiped, there anything else I can do to unlock my phone? My phone will be usless after that my device is deleted?

  In addition, via PC/browser, log in the website to protect, in using BBID credentials that are associated with the device. Through this interface, you have the option to change your password for the device-lock. I saw the option on this screen... but never tried to use it effectively, I would be interested in your results.

  Just taken delivery of my new Z10. My current phone is a 9800 which I intend to continue to use occasionally. IE working on site or on the go on vacation where it has the potential to be broken or stolen. I've seen things of variuos saying that the new phone will have a new BBID associated with it and other information on the sites of blackberries saying that you can use the same BBID on multiple devices.

  Can anyone confirm that I need to do when setting up my new phone and any problems that arise to use an ID on a BB10 and BB6 OS phone?

  I am also aware that BB want to use BIS on the BB10 platform so that has on my 9800 I lose when I switch to the Z10, if I had to use the same Sim Card in the old phone?

  The main disadvantage is that your BBMessenger should be used on a device or another, not both at the same time... email and apps are ok.

  I have updated to OS 10.2.1.537 today morning post updated and I'm not able to make phone calls. On the choice of the network, I am able to select the required network (Airtel India) but not able to make phone calls. Neither the data service works. SMS message also works using the telephone network, but not the call. Tried restarting, remove the SIM and the battery without any improvement.

  When you try to call I always get the message "the cell phone line is not available. Choose a different phone line and try your call again.

  I don't know what the problem with my Z10 since last weekend, I noticed that any time my phone restarts all my data are deleted. I thought it was a minor problem new Apps I downloaded and deleted but there are still the stills. So I decided to delete my phone to factory settings and restore from a previous backup dated (02/02/2015) that i made before I upgraded to OS 10.3.1.2243. • Z10 taken blackBerry trapped in the screen reader!

  You have "Screen reader" on accessibility mode? Go to settings > accessibility. TURN OFF screen reader.

  Charged my z10 all night then in the morning that there was only one red light on the upper right side.

  Disconnected the usb charging cable (I was loading via the wall jack and not a pc) and the light goes out, but it won't start.

  Connected to a pc and just suite and every few seconds, he's trying to start because I see the words 'blackberry' lights up for about half a second, then it turns off and the Red led will return to red light.

  You select device and follow the instructions... When you are prompted to turn off the device, you may need to use the power button or the HIGH to the LOW volume switches to turn on the lamp unit out... Green must appear on the device... it took me several attempts to make it work, but it works fine now... thank you all for the help.
