  Sorry, that didn't work. Coincidentally, you can check the same approach, but instead of the printer Properties, see if there is an impression of Preferences from the list of options for this printer right click.

  The other question that occurs to me is if the other computer that you tried your barcode printer had another printer connected to it? I want to say here is that if the other computer had not another printer is connected, then the functions print sent to the barcode printer. If this is the case, you may need to do the first barcode printer or the default printer. You do via the menu right click on the drive icon bar code in devices and printers (at the same place you went to before).

  Hello.  My printer is in working order as far as I know.  However, the red light keeps coming up and I can't print a shipping label.  It started when Microsoft 'security' did not like programs in Java, calling it a breach of security.  I deleted the new form of Java and installed the older form, the printer has worked for a few days and now has the red light again all the time.  I ran all the tests to restart the label printer 100 times I thought it was a problem of Java, not, I'm not sure that it isn't Microsoft.  Need help please, I need my printer.  I can print a label on my other printer paper very well.  The Java "circle ride" on ebay and it lets me choose my Zeba LP2844 label printer, sometimes it works most of the time it isn't.  I called ebay, nothing helps.  Thank you, Susan

  I work in mobile and often cannot get a good mobile internet access to my netbook, but the Blackberry seems OK. I want to receive emails with attachments to my Blackberry then transfer them via the USB port on my netbook (Samsung NC10) to use to print via a HP deskjet printer and a Zebra LP 2844 thermal printer. So my first question is, can I do this & if so, how? Is there a software I need?

  Anyone got a short cut for direct printing with suggestions on BT A4 mobile printers and label printers. I can connect them to a vehicle power source but even better if they are really mobile.

  All you need to do is save the attachments on your email in a file on your BB (device or memory card support). Then attach to your laptop and open files directly from here - no need actually move the file on your PC as your BB is displayed as a drive (or drives) in Windows:

  I'll build a new test system. Primary data acquisition is a USB6221. Today, as I had the various contributions 'on-line', I noticed that even when I'm not with this camera I had MAX launches a new instance with the screen ' "for the open 6221. Any thoughts? I had opened a few pdf manuals (for a Zebra printer, I have some difficulty with another post @!) had run a few attempts to talk to the Zebra, via a USB - serial adapter, and when I closed the manuals found 3 or 4 instances of open MAX, to the 6221. The serial adapter is on a USB hub, the trendy 6221 on a computer built in USB ports.

  I GT800 Zebra printer and I am trying to print a barcode 1 d with label using LabVIEW. I connected my printer via a USB port. What commands EPL must I give in order to print the bar code?

  Well, before I was using .net and a printer connected in series, and we just called a shell command to copy the file on the com port with a command like "COPY /B PRINT. PRN, COM1.

  I don't know which would be too much work to LabView, but there may be more elegant ways. I've never done no direct printing of labview so I don't know, but a quick bit of Googling (which I'm sure you can do it yourself as well as I can) seems to suggest that using the exec command vi system is the way to go.

  To access a port USB printer can be more complicated. One way is to share the printer on the network and then map to an LPT port with a command like somethng "net use LPT1-" from a command prompt (you can view the help on this command, because it comes just from memory) - then it becomes directly available on the back and you can use the COPY /B LPT1 command to send your file to him.   I read a number of threads and can still not my problem fixed.  I have a Dell box running Windows XP SP3 and tries to connect to a printer of labels Zebra GX420t via a USB connection.  He was not to recognize the printer and I think I inadvertently he associated with the generic IEEE 1284.4 printing support driver.  I really need a usbprint driver.  Now, whenever I connect the printer, I get the yellow symbol in the Device Manager and I do not know how to change the driver to a USB driver.  I plug the printer even in my Windows 7 box and it uses a virtual USB port and the same thing happens when I plug it into my laptop running XP SP3.  No virtual USB port is an option on my desk.  Any thoughts?

  Just to close this thread...

  I ended up using the original XP Pro disc to 'fix' the corrupted files.  It was a disc of SP2, so I had to make all the updates to get back to where I was.  NA not losing all the data (which was nice).  Once all updates have been made, I plugged the printer without loading all the drivers and loaded.  Looked in Device Manager and it was listed as a USB Printer Support under USB device.  When I looked in the server properties/Ports, there was my virtual USB device I was hoping.

  I finished loading the drivers updated from a 3rd party (Seagull Scientific... well known for printer drivers label for most of the large manufacturers) and then deleted the old set to the top.  Once again, everything is good.

  Other corrupted files, I can't explain it all.  I had already reloaded the USBPRINT.sys and the USBMON. DLL and that didn't fix it.  Glad everything is good.  All else fails, start over.

  Need serious help!

  We have a Zebra GX420T label printer that runs on a computer running Windows XP with IE8, installed a printer GX420t printer with the latest drivers from the Zebra EPL and shared on the same USB port of the printer generic/text printer, this example displays the barcode labels.

  Then when connect us everything on a new Windows 7, with IE9, computer the same installer does not work, try the generic/text only, unique zebra GX420t printer and the credits and the combination pilot EPL and combined with generic/text and GX420T installation, still can't make it work. It prints a bit of code to bars and text but completely false and partial.

  Printed the barcode on a regular printer to two computers, and it shows that all the command line the exactly the same for both computers.

  Anyone any suggestions?

  I see that you have problems with the printer when connected to a windows computer 7. I'll help you with this problem.

  1. What is the brand and model of the computer windows 7?

  2. what security software is installed on the computer?

  3. have you made changes on the computer recently?

  4 is the printer connected to a domain network?

  I suggest you try to run the printer Troubleshooter and check.

• USB disabled after the update of the Sierra (a short circuit and a work)

  Hi, when I bought my mbp 13 inches mid2012 (used, not new) I noticed that a USB port did not work. In the Yosemite sometimes I noticed that a USB port consumed too much energy and have been disabled. (I think because the usb port has been short-circuited. Year when it was time to update the mbp to El Capitan I had a few panic the kernel and the newspaper was shown as the last driver loaded the USB driver, so I kept the mbp with Yosemite. A few days ago, I updated for Sierra but only usb which used to work stopped working. It has enabled and turned on but Finder and disk utility does not see the drive. In an Apple dealer they said that could be established relationships with some oxide and next week will take it and see what the problem is.

  If there is someone with the same problems, please tell me what to do! I don't want to put in the trash my mac just for a flash drive... but I need!

  Thank you for using communities of Apple Support. Based on what you said, it appears as a USB device is not recognized in one of the USB ports. There are a few things that can cause this. I recommend you read these articles, which may be able to help solve the problem.
