• Web browser only zooms, does not scroll

  Completely new to Palm here.  Had the pre over one week on Verizon.  Because I think it's a minor problem that I can't understand and it makes me crazy.  I have a search on these forums and did not find anyone with a similar problem that worries me, but I maybe just a fool.

  When I use the web browser and you want to scroll, I have my single finger tip up and down on the screen as Palm instructed.  But instead of scrolling, the page zooms in and after that the buttons of navigation (forward, refresh) are disabled (touch does nothing).  If the problems I encounter are:

  1. I can't scroll.  The scrolling gesture translates only by zoom.

  2. after zooming, navigation buttons are disabled.

  Anyone run into this?  Is this a bug or I am doing something wrong or is there a setting somewhere that I have to change?

  Typing on the screen would be zoom and slide you your finger on the screen to scroll.

  Are you lift you your finger off the screen while trying to scroll?

  Is occurring on a particular web page?

  If the answer to both these questions is no, then you have need to perform a reboot from the device information, select Reset Options, and then restart. You can also delete cookies and the cache in the browser in the drop-down menu at the top of the preferences page select, and then choose clear Cookies, clear Cache. You may want to try to clear the cookies and cache first before you try from the restart.

  It would be difficult to achieve. Basically the content will zoom with scroll mouse explore details attached to content, such as a zoom of the image.

  Have not tried it personally but you can try this, use card Tiler, generate the map with the image you want to use and other details and then publish your site.
