• Folio preview don't work

  The preview of my folio works on iPad when I submit to it by USB cable. The content on my mac Viewer also works. When I submit the online folio presentation stops with this error:

  

  When I click on "try again" it seems that to work, little article on the iPad is not the latest version. I build a new, fresh folio on my drive local and saves all the new documents, to solve the problem - but it's the same mistake. Things that are made in the articles and I can see in the Viewer by cable are not inside the folio by submission online. Some items are now downloaded, but this isn't the latest version. Any suggestions?

  I hope someone can help. I had a problem for some time that when I add a SWF in a page and previsualisez everything works well, so that when I download ALL files in their records properly synchronized online flash not working anymore. I managed to get past this problem before you put all the files in the folder root online - but it no longer works.

• Rendering of previews to JPG: Yes or no

  I have a 30 000 image iPhoto library I'm manually import (LR 6.3 import feature currently live until the conversion of the events to the Collections) and I want to know what I should put the previews to to import the settings on JPG files, which are almost 4000 x 2000 pixels.  Is there any point in 1:1 previews generation?  90% of the images are these JPGs created by slide and negative scanning and about 5 MB in size.  Over the past years, I started shooting RAW and will likely import these last with 1:1 previews.

  My suggestions (by experience)-

  1 import as 'Minimum' previews. It accelerates your import.  Your previews cache file will be smaller. 1:1 previews can be created at any time.

  If you have 1:1 previews, you can set preferences to delete 1:1 after a defined time period.

  2 al ' import [file management] Panel - remove a tick "add to the Collection.

  There is no need to create Collections without end of ALL your image files when you 'Add' images to your catalog with the import. You will have your folder structure of the hard disk in the folders Panel. It may be necessary in the future if you are shooting a special event that you want to keep a 'Collection' reference to these specific images. (a book or slideshow)

  Left: LR v5.7, overview of the image design, FIT zoom level

  Law: Export from LR to JPEG at 100% quality = preview of the LR library with zoom level WAS

  However, when I go to the 1:1 zoom level, library and develop are identical with the exception of a slight color change. Grain line up exactly.

  Zoom level DID develop overview LR does not, that is very different from the JPEG export.

  How to fix this?

  This is usually caused by excessive application of sharpening or insufficient Luminance Noise reduction settings. See this post for more information: Loosing detail and black when you export the final image

  I know that if I click on the check box use the preview it considerably accelerates my record, but I was wondering if it lowers my quality of output on the final export?

• Lost previews

  Lightroom 3.4 is not save the preview in the catalog images.

  My photo archives are stored on multiple external hard drives, each image carefully keyworded. When I need to find my archives photos, Egret, say, choose from the list of keywords and all the glimpses of my provided egrets.  I look through and choose the one I want.  Then I click on the Photo > show in Explorer and Lightroom told me what hard drive to the plug-in to find the image full size.  This system works well for me for years, but recently I had to replace my motherboard and reinstall the software.  Since then, Lightroom has not spared the previews in the catalog (I guess) because when I followed the steps above, all I see is a gray image white instead of preview images except when a hard drive is already connected.  I need for previews to be stored in the catalog.

  How can I get Lightroom to save previews, so I can see them without necessarily having the images full screen available?

  Under Edit > catalog settings > file management, I have the Preview size Standard the value 1024 px, the quality of the preview put down and automatically reject the Never value 1:1 previews.  It's the only place I can find that may be responsible for maintaining the previews.

  This problem became a huge key in my workflow.  Any help for this problem would be appreciated.

  How can I move all the my iPhoto and Aperture photos to Photos and remove iPhoto and Aperture libraries?  Photos automatically links to the old library on migration to save space with two libraries.

  As a related issue, there don't seem to be anyway to determine if a picture is stored when viewing Photos.  Incredibly frustrating when there are duplicates because how do you know who I should delete?

  No - nothing is connected - once you migrate a library it is independent and did no link to the original library - you can remove it if yo want

  However the removal of the original library will save the little space and is not repeated because it uses hard links to the original and previews so the new library uses little extra space

  As duplicates - what difference does make? They are duplicates so delete an and smells like another - even - you do not have any what visibility of the underlying files (and do not need to do this) in pictures

  Pictures is a new program and this is a learning curve - and is not a professional software like Aperture, so it is not expected at all what Aperture is - is better than iPhoto and get closer to the opening, but I doubt it will ever open

• Why Navigator goes to solid color when I go to print Module?

  It seems that, in my state of sleep, I managed to change a setting somewhere.  I am sure that the browser used to display the effects of changes made to the print settings that I made them.  It is normally done in the library modules and to the point, but loses the image (goes to the solid background color) when I go in the print Module.  It prints on paper or fine JPEG.

  I have the problem with the Finder. Normally, when you click the dock icon, new Finder window. But I don't know why, a few days ago this has stopped working for me. • Failed to read DivX AVI on Windows Media Center

  I recently set up Windows Media Center on my Vista Home Premium SP1 Dell inspiron 1720 to try to distribute multimedia content for my new Xbox 360 Elite.

  He agreed with success the extender of the Xbox, but on the Xbox video files and photo show as empty althouough, it can stream music from the laptop with no problems.

  When I returned to my dell, I saw that my AVI DivX files do not appear in the Media Center or locally, and no more my photos! The only items that he picks up are subfolders in the folders that I added. If I run a DivX AVI movie through a Windows Explorer shell, Media Center will play that music, as if missing the codec - even if Media Player 11.0.6001.7004 has no problem with the even if I close Media Center and then open the file again.

  SO why don't media library on Vista SP1 manage photos jpeg from Sony and Canon caeras, and why he can't play back AVI DivX in? Any help gratefully accepted! :)

  Chris I am playing my AVI videos by Media Center windows (using vista ultimate 32 bit) via my xbox 360, does not.  I have Xbox Live but Media Center is still telling me that it does not recognize the codec.  If my AVi files playback is possible-how?  Is - not more easy if I just update for windows media center in Windows 7?

• Where can I move my default libraries?

  Four default libraries I would switch to different drives. How can I make it so when I add things my computer they will automatically go to the right of the road. My C:\ drive is a 1 TB SSD and I would use it only for programs and documents. I wish that all my videos on my disk (video storage) 2 TB Seagate S:\. I would like all my music and sound effects to be stored by default on my M:\ drive which is a 1 TB HARD drive. And I would that all of my photos and other graphics to be stored on my drive P:\ It is also a WD 1 TB HARD drive. I tried to follow the instructions of Windows help, but they did not work for me. Can I get help? Thank you.

  Hello

  There are two ways to do this, the way I like to do is this: lets start with Documents, in Windows Explorer, right-click on documents and select Properties.

  Then click on "include a folder.

  Choose where you want the documents folder to redirect to.

  Highlight the new folder that you have selected, then click 'game save location '.

  Now, you will have several places indicates your document library, I usually remove all of them with the exception of the place, I just took. If you want to only have 1 place, then highlight and delete the places you do not want your library documents to include.

  The same process can be done for each library, Documents, music, pictures, videos.
