    Hi John, OP

Just checked the init.ora file created by DBCA. Although the parameter CONTROL_FILES is undefined, db_create_file_dest = '+ DATA_DG1' was created. OMF default location is defined by the db_create_file_dest parameter.

    So, I could safely use this script for the manual creation of DB, and during the CREATE DATABASE command execution, oracle will place CONTROL_FILES + DATA_DG1 using the format;

  • Acquire the values only when the digital output is high.

    Hello

I work with test of transistor, whose door is controlled by the digital release of USB6289, related to BNC2120.

    Test plan:

Door 1.transistor is enabled for 5seconds, with P0.0 for example

    2. then, everything remains off for 1secondes.

3.p0.1 is used as digital output to activate the circuit passing him curent through in the opposite direction, P0.1 goes high for 3 seconds, PS: Gate is off.

    4. the same cycle repeats again.

My question is to store values to the output of the transistor when P0.0 and P0.1 goes high, and these values should not change until my digital outputs respective again go high.

I can access transistor by continiously read out my power supply values.

and in the State off I want to read AI0 because at that time, my power supply is off, so that I can activate the circuit to pass the current in the opposite direction.

Again, my question is to gain the output through power value when P0.0 is high and store them until the transistor turns on.

and even for P0.1, acquire the value of output through AI0, when P0.1 is high and store it until it goes high again.

Hopefully, I'm able to explain my problem clearly.

    Please help me.

  • Network connected to PSUS4 printer goes offline when the PC is shut down...

I am close to giving up this problem, help would really be appreciated.

My printer network disconnects when my computer is shut down or sleep. I have a Samsung printer connected to a print server through a router Linksys WAG160N Linksys PSUS4 wireless. Two computers that are hard cables to the router to see and access the printer without problem. I now have a new laptop Sony Vaio (Vista OS) that accesses the router WAG160N wireless. The Vaio connects to the internet OK, but everytime I shut down the PC, the printer is offline and remains offline to the Vaio when I start again.

If I remove the printer of the Vaio and then 'add printer' again, by selecting the option "Add a network, wireless or bluetooth printer" shows the printer as \\LK90a6dd\p1 network is available. But if I try to connect to it, I have "X Windows cannot connect to the printer". If, instead of this, I choose 'Add a local printer' and select the existing port "\\LK90a6dd\p1 (renderer client-side) ' and the printer driver series Samsung ML1210, the printer is installed, works very well and remains online - until I have stop the Vaio, it is. Then delete the printer, install the printer etc to access the printer again.

Kevin, I owe you a drink. I have added the printer as a local printer (as opposed to network), entering the IP, etc print driver, restarted the computer, and... the printer remained online. Unlike many critics of Vista, I found that it is a reasonable operating system. But maybe it's the glitches like these that give it a bad reputation. Thanks a lot for your help. Really enjoyed.

  • DeskJet 5500: When the printer uses the 57 cartridge?

I thank very you much for your reply to my last post. Makes perfect sense.

I'm doing a huge amount of B & W / grey scale printing; I use 56 about two cartridges a week and I reload them successfully for a few tens of cycles each.

My 57 cartridges also mpty very frequently while I print almost any color - the only color is perhaps a small logo on the page.

I tried to use the gray filter in Macintosh 10.4.11 system to send a grayscale image to the printer, but the 57 cartridge still empty quickly, even if the printed color is negligible.

If the page still contains the least amount of color, 57 cartridge automatically prints the whole page, or the cartridge 56 prints black and the 57 print the little bit of color?

If the 57 prints the whole page if it contains ANY color, is there anything I can do in the impression of New York to get the printer to use the cartridge 56 instead? I took to remove the cartridge 57, but when I put again, the printer goes through the cycle of test page, I want to avoid if I can.

Thanlk in advance for your help.  I can't tell you how much it means for a user that a knowledgeable HP employee has actually answered questions through this forum. Other companies to let users themselves, often to hang in the wind without usable responses.

Many use printers, not only HP, so-called 'underprinting' this is the pose of an ink of color on the page before the black ink.  Essentially, it is a primer for the paper.  The color dries quickly and is a base for black ink, allowing it to dry and cure without spreading out on the page.  If you have already printed with the cartridges out of alignment and saw a blue or magenta shadow to your text, you see the underprinting.  That's why, when the same printing black text, the printer uses a color ink.

This printer is able to print reserve mode, which means it can print with 1 single cartridge installed.  The printing speed may be slower, but it's an easy way to make sure you are not using any color.  For reserve mode, remove the cartridge you want to use.  (Find a hermetic place to store this vertical cartridge with the nozzles pointing down as it is when it is installed in the printer, or it will dry out and become useless!)  To leave the reserve mode, put a good cart in the empty slot.

  • 2 of the 3 computers suddenly can't print on network 6500 e709

I have three computers and domestic an OfficeJet 6500 e709 on my local network.  Everything worked well for several months until today.  Today, cannot print my two Win7 machines, but my Vista machine can still.

I went through the center of Solution any sequence of troubleshooting and nothing fixed it.  So I tried my own diagnosis, as follows.

Because apparently, this forum does not accept attachments, I refer you to the numbered screenshots I posted to http://winter.webfactional.com/HP-problem.doc

    1. printing of each application, I tried, I get "unable to print document."  Most said that the center of Solution is that it is due to "a mistake in the printing system."

    2. starting at the HP Toolbox on the same computer, print a test page.  This method works.  It turns out that there is a connection between the computer and the printer.  The printed test page shows "network status: Ready ', and everything else in the report seems normal.

    3. I go to the window of the printer for this printer, cancel printing failed, view the Properties window and click on "Print Test Page"...

4.. .and see it immediately.  However, nothing comes of the printer and as little seconds later...

5... .my screen looks like this.

    ~ Ken

    Thanks, MusicMan ~.

It happens that my two computers are print again with success.  I don't quite know what solves the problem, and I have no idea why the problem arose in the first place, after a few years a print without problem with this Setup.

For whatever light it can cast for others (and for me if it happens again), here's the rest of the story:

After exhausting all the troubleshooting procedures that I could find (including flashes of heat-queue and reboot), I posted my call for help here, turned off my computer and went to bed.  The next day, after having turned all back on again, I noticed that a printer test page appeared in my output tray on the printer, and that he had been sent to one of my computers previously defective, I'll call the "desktop".  As stated in my initial post, printing a test page had been impossible before.  Then, I checked the office by printing a document.  That worked well, and the Office has worked since.

Then I checked my other computer, the "laptop", and unfortunately it still couldn't print.  Looking for differences between the two configurations, I noticed that the center of complete Solution has been installed on the desktop but not on laptop - laptop has had only the drivers.  So I took to install the Solution Center.  Long story short, the installation process is not well, when the printer is already recognized by Windows and the drivers are already there.  So I finished unistalling the printer and then installed solutions and here Center on the laptop very well printed.

    I hope this helps.

  • My printer is configured to start when the computer turns on. I want to reconfigure it so that it does not turn

My printer is configured to start when the computer turns on.  I want to reconfigure it so that it won't turn.  I know this is probably a simple change, but I can't find the path anywhere.  Any help?

I guess you do NOT mean that you have both printer and computer plugged into the same power strip and both are turn on when you turn on the power strip.

As nearly as I can determine the rather thin material in the Guide for the Dell P713w user, probably have enabled "Eco-Mode" or the mode 'sleep '.  See page 19 of the User Guide (if you don't have it, download it here: http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/PRN_P713w/en/index.htm).

When this feature is enabled, the printer goes into mode low power when it has been idle for a while.  When the computer is off, the printer is by definition inactive and so will go to low power, shortly after that the computer is turned off.  When the computer is turned on, it detects the presence of the printer and connects to the printer.  Apparently, the printer interprets this string as the "no-idle" and out of his low-power mode, which appears as if it is "turn on."

In addition, this printer performs an automatic maintenance cycle every week if it is plugged into a power outlet. It will briefly exit Power Saver mode or turn on temporarily if it is disabled.

At least one of the lights on the printer flashes power on and off when you think that the printer is turned off?  If so, it is in energy saving mode.

Of course, I may be totally wrong, but it seems to me if you actually turn off the printer by pressing the button on / off on screen, he should not be able to auto (except once / week maintenance cycle).  From the Manual:

Note: When the printer is turned on, press [power] to switch to the power saving mode. Press and hold [power] for 3 seconds to turn off the printer.

  • Whatever it is possible to increase the speed of printing, or is the printing device / network critical connection?

As the document of the site controller, I mark & print large volumes of documents. Variating in size but that explodes in general strongly when printing.
Search within Acrobat forums and seems quite common and probably inevitable.

Tried with/without feeling "like a picture" but did not really much of a difference. Increase in file and the time required for printing on the same.

However, I think that the internet high speed and or the internal memory of the printing device is too large:

Internet high speed - also the internal network connections - is a real problem

Printing for example an original file size 15 MB I've seen explode > 300 MB but the worst is that I can see the indicator of memory on the printer (2.5 GB installed) increase of slow death.

Takes minutes to load a next page - often with > 50 pages documents printing - multiple copies - really takes hours

Then of course my colleagues do not appreciate it - local printer however not an option yet.

Assuming that the problem might as well not be Acrobat but also somebody can help me? I'm in contact with suppliers of printing device already to see if a larger internal memory - if possible - would improve situation.

Next issue will be speed network & internet?  15 Oct status: no improvements made/found yet...

    Any help - suggestions welcome!

The problem is that PDFs are highly compressed, but the need for printers information is just the opposite. Printers are designed on the assumption there is a fast path to the printer - cable USB or network more quickly. There may be problems of speed printer too: a PDF can have be printed a full page of graphics and a slow printer designed mainly for text might crack.

If printing the image makes no real difference, you have a printer that requires images already...

If the printer has an available PostScript driver (and the equipment) try this.

If the printer is capable of printing multiple copies itself (i.e. send once, a lot of printing, rather that send several times), try this.

If your company can't run to a few hundred dollars for a local printer, then maybe they need to spend tens of thousands on an effective network. (Yes, I know that's not under your control, it's frustrating!)

  • Why did you take away the print feature in the window "writing"? When the document window opens, I can't past and print more?

In earlier versions of ThunderBird could copy items from the web page (for example) and paste it into the 'write' window and then print it directly. Now, I send to myself and then print the document. This is a very poor feature in newer versions of T.B.

How can we get the longer feature back?

Now, you said something useful. Press the alt key to display the menu bar. This shortcut has been involved since the beginning from Windows. You can remember it.
