110 - 412na: input device error

When I try to record the audio signal, with Cool Edit Pro, from an MP4 file play in VLC Player, I am presented with the following message:

If I use Total Recorder, I can record the audio track with it with no problems.

What must I do to be able to save by using Cool Edit Pro?

Equal rights of equal responsibilities.
Equal opportunities for equal capacities.

Oh yes, still autour and used in some professional circles.

I bought the free version when it was still owned by Syntrillium.  The paid version and then sold for $70 if I remember correctly.

I used the version very rare free time and decided to purchase the full version.  But it turns out that the change of ownership has just been done.  Don't remember the time, but the new version called fancy a price well beyond the reach of a large number of its new potential buyers, shockingly so.  Greed again.

I was lucky enough to find a legitimate copy (with its registration key) for sale by a professional studio at a price much lower than the original figure of Syntrillium.

An internet search gave me a solution to the problem.  It was as simple as right-clicking on the Cool Edit icon and selecting Properties, then on the tab compatibility (etc.).   He now works as it should.

    I am trying to download pictures from a card compact flash player map, but every time my computer shows i/o device error. What does that mean?

    Hi Richard,

    1. what version of Windows you are using on the computer?

    2. have you checked if the problem persists in a different USB port and in another computer?

    3 - is the card compact flash not detected in Device Manager?

    A Secure Digital or SD memory card is a device of small portable storage usually used on a digital camera or camcorder, cell phone, or computer system. When you use the card, you may sometimes experience an IO error. The term "i/o" is refers to an input/output error and may involve the SD itself card or the card reader you are using.

    Try these methods:

    Method 1: Try to run the hardware troubleshooter and check what the problem is and fix it accordingly.

    Follow the link below a convenience store opened.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-hardware-and-devices-Troubleshooter

    Method 2:

    Eject the SD card in the card reader and check the writing on the side protection tab. This tab should be in the up position; otherwise, you will not be able to save all data on the card. Also check the connection between the computer and the SD card reader. If the card reader is not properly connected to the computer, you will receive error messages when you try to use the SD card or your computer does not recognize the card.

  • Registering a dll file to start the service HID Input Device

    Hello

    I would like to register the dll located in my System32 hidserv.dll. However, when you enter the command 'regsvr32 hidserv.dll' I have an error message indicating that: "hidserv.dll was loaded, but the DllRegisterServer entry point was not found. This file cannot be saved. "

    How I then save it, knowing that I checked that this file is not corrupt?

    I need to register this dll in order to start the "HID Input Device" who stubbornly refuses to start despite an integrity check in the registry.

    The system event viewer specifies that:

    "HID Input Service service terminated with the error:
    Error 126: The specified module is not found. "

    I already tried to extract hidserv.dll, mouclass.sys & mouhid.sys sp2 and sp3 even to put them in the C:\Windows\System32 directory, but I had no change.

    The files I have place in my SYSTEM32 have the following version:
    Hidserv.dll: 5.1.2600.5512
    Mouclass.sys: 5.1.2600.5512
    mouhid.sys: 5.1.2600.0

    but the service still does not start even after rebooting. The 126 error continues. Is there other files to extract / expansion?

    I checked the integrity of all stakeholders key in the registry (for example, to have the "ServiceDll" key whose value is "% systemroot%\System32\hidserv.dll" in the settings of the service HIDserv ControlSets), but nothing more.

    By analyzing the Observer newspaper of events more deeply, I could identify the date on which took place the first concern. The problem is dated, 18/08/2010 at 11:59:17 (it sticks with the conclusion of the first concern of losing control of my volume on my Logitech G110 keyboard also control buttons). I don't remember having a particular to this date on my system change, except perhaps a Windows Update automatically.
    I could not try a system restore, knowing that the RP oldest I have is dated 20/08, so downstream of the original problem.

    I ran a File Checker sfc/scannow system with my Windows XP Pro SP3 (current version of my system) installation cd. Arnaud TIERANT.

    First of all, the hidserv.dll is not a DLL that can be recorded.  You can try all day long, but it will not be because he is not on the list of DLLs that will be or must be registered.  There is a list, and which is not on it.  (well thought of).

    Your problem is in the registry with the HidServ, section ServiceDLL parameter.

    You have a space left in the key ServiceDLL.  In regedit, it should look like this:

    %SystemRoot%\System32\hidserv.dll

    Yours probably looks like this in regedit:

    %SystemRoot%\System32\hidserv.dll

    See the space left?  I don't know how it got that way (perhaps something that was installed for these humans), but I know that if I put a space in front of me and restart my system, HID service not start and give me an error 126 as you describe.  He has no idea about the problem in the log events.

    With space on the left, the specified module really not found because there is no such thing as the path (with the space to the left).

    Your registry export reveals this problem.

    Yours looks like this:

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\HidServ\Parameters]
    "ServiceDll" =hex (2): 20, 00, 25, 00,53,00,79,00,73,00,74,00,65,00, 6 d, 00, 52, 00, 6f,
    00, 6f, 00, 74, 00, 25, 00, 5 c, 00, 53, 00, 79, 00, 73, 00, 74, 00, 65, 00, 6 d, 00, 00, 32, 33, 00,------.
    5 c, 00, 68, 00, 69, 00, 64, 00, 73, 00, 65, 00, 72, 00, 76, 00, 2nd, 00, 64, 00, 6 c, 00, 6 c, 00, 00,------.
    00

    It should look like this:

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\HidServ\Parameters]
    "ServiceDll" =hex (2): 25, 00,53,00,79,00,73,00,74,00,65,00, 6 d, 00, 52, 00, 6f,
    00, 6f, 00, 74, 00, 25, 00, 5 c, 00, 53, 00, 79, 00, 73, 00, 74, 00, 65, 00, 6 d, 00, 00, 32, 33, 00,------.
    5 c, 00, 68, 00, 69, 00, 64, 00, 73, 00, 65, 00, 72, 00, 76, 00, 2nd, 00, 64, 00, 6 c, 00, 6 c, 00, 00,------.
    00

    In your, you can see I have stuff in bold print on the front of the chain: 20.00...  In hexadecimal, is a space and a null value (null value is correct).  You must use regedit to get rid of this leading space (20 hex), and don't forget that, in the settings section, the first character of the value ServiceDLL is the % sign (which is a hexagon of 25).

    You can, of course, just change the string, delete everything that is there, and retype the value if it looks like this without spaces attack/crawling:

    %SystemRoot%\System32\hidserv.dll

    The HID Service will not start if you come to make the changes and try to start the service.  After making your changes, you need to restart, you can check it out, and then start the service HID.

    "pc input device" could mean anything, when exactly you see an error message?

    Driver finder so paid or free programs should not be used as they can and are causing problems.

    Drivers for your PC are available for free since your assumption of the manufacturers of PC, or for a generic desktop by the creators of individual materials

    Jurgen,

    What have you already tried?

    The camera shows if you open the import in the opening panel manually by entering ⌘I?

    You try to read directly from the card or is the camera connected by a USB cable?

    Try if the card can be read, if you use the card reader.

    The device is fully charged or connected to a power source?  Is the camera in the right mode to connect to the computer?

    Other applications see the camera?  Photos for Mac? Image capture?

    Have you tried, if the opening is to see the camera, if yo use another card?  Any camera sees opening?

    and
    This request could not be performed because of an I / O DEVICE ERROR.

    Please someone can help, I had a lot of problems with this laptop and wondered whether or not I take repairs... yet again!

    Hello

    This error is displayed because the drive is not able to read DVD media.
    It would be interesting to know if this happens with all DVDs

    In any case, I think you should try it first;

    Access to the registry, and then remove the Upperfilters and Lowerfilters completely from the following registry key values:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

    After this short intervention, restart the laptop.

    If this doesn't help then the chances are that the player could malfunction
    In this case, you should ask the technician to phone for help!

    Good luck

    As far as I know there is no one-size-fits-all solution for this type of problem. Try to remove the device from Device Manager, and then restart the device.

    Hello

    It looks a bit like a hardware problem but first try them all these common advice;

    First try to remove the drive from the Device Manager and restart the laptop. Windows should recognize the CD/DVD drive and re-install the drivers.

    If this does not help, you must check this document knowledge of MS;
    You receive an I/O device error message when you try to use your CD-ROM drive in Windows XP
    http://support.Microsoft.com/?kbid=891894

    According to this MS document, you should try to change the Transfer Mode to DMA to PIO and back.

    I hope it helps
