  Copy the program through a new machine will not work.   Install it using installation files and activate using the serial number assigned to the license.

Please confirm that this dbconsole only points to the specific database that is installed on the same pc, and it cannot be used to manage remotely located 10 or 11 g databases. I'm still in the planning stages for the installation of grid control and want to use the more small enterprise manager - java control. But even once, there no such Oracle 11 g application now?   Confirmed. The DB Console is linked to an ORACLE_HOME one HOST for a single INSTANCE. The HOST and the INSTANCE are used in the directory naming (of all stupidity) and the content of the configuration file under the ORACLE_HOME.

  You can install in any desired point of installation/directory. Oracle does not give a flying fig this topic. Just put it somewhere that makes sense.

  If you do not know the product key on the bottom of the laptop, then you will need media recovery purchase that normally only requires a product key to work, or you will need to buy a new operating system.

  HP and Microsoft will provide a replacement product key.

  Just call them and you will see the runaround, you get.  Each company will tell you to get it.
