  As of today, after that firefox grabbed the 38.0.1 update, it always crashes when I open gmail. It's probably on the GoogleTalkPlugin.   You could test this by activating / deactivating false media.gstreamer.enabled on the topic: config page.

  Make sure you have the latest updates of GStreamer and update your version of Linux, if this version is older or is no longer supported.

  Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. As this feature has been added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there are still some problems.

• Aurora Firefox crashing when opening after update

  I'm under 32.0a2 Aurora. This morning I upgraded to Aurora when the popup little said that there is a new update available. Since then, I have not been able to open Aurora.
