15 laptop ac101TU: impossible to select DVD as startup options
A blue screen appears on my PC saying 'your PC came across a problem. Let's restart for you. " Then my PC can't start saying he needs a recovery such as USB or DVD media. While I ordered a HP recovery kit. During this time, I downloaded the ISO of Windows 10 of Microsoft store file and created a bootable DVD using Microsoft DVD download tool. Now to allow booting from the DVD I have disabled startup secured in the BIOS Setup and saved. Then I turned off my PC. Then start it by pressing ESC. Then, I go to f9 to select boot options. But I have not found the option to boot from the DVD. There are only two options are to come - OS boot manager and boot to the EFI file.
Then I enabled legacy startup. Then boot from the hard drive for laptop is coming. But still the option to boot from the DVD does not come.
Please help me in this regard.
Hello
Run the tool again, but this time select this option to create the ISO file option.
When you have the iso file, use Rufus to create the bootable flash drive.
Kind regards

I installed ubuntu to see if I could change my cd drive letter ther beginning could not understand. If someone could help iid appriciate it. I'd like to reinstall windows
Vista recovery media obtain and/or use the Partition Recovery Vista on your computer to the factory settings .
There is no Vista free download legal available.
Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.
Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Also ask them if it is possible to do the recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.
They will tell you how to do this.
Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, Acer, recovery disk/s etc).
A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.
If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):
At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu
Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
My laptop is Pressario V2000. My laptop does not read the dvd, but another laptop reads the same dvd. PL is the solution. Thank you
Try another DVD to verify that your laptop can read at least the other DVD. If he can't play other DVD's then you need to replace the DVD - CD ROM drive supplied with your Pressario.
Another thing you can try is to check fingerprints or scratches on the DVD, some DVD players are more sensitive than others.
my laptop can not play American DVDs
How can I go on the American DVD play on a UK laptop?
Hello
DVDs have a region code assignment. Change the region code can be up to five times.
You should consider an external DVD drive (set in the region of the United States). LG used to make a hard drive (laptop?) that would change the code of the region up to five times, then you can reset it.
This DVD site might have the best suggestions.
Change the region code is one of the questions and the PAL format might be another.
If it just happened all of a sudden, you can restore the registry files of the system in working order by following option n ° 1 on this page. If this does not work, you can be reasonably sure that the configuration of the system is not the problem and start looking into other possibilities as a broken drive or a bad connection inside the cable.
Cannot select DVD for anything in yet
I'm trying to burn a DVD in Encore CS5. I already have the menus. chapters, etc. All I have to do now is burn. I used Dynamic Link to connect the first Pro CS5.5 project in Encore CS5. The project is a project of 1080i, but I burned standard def DVD 1080i projects many times before.
I transcoded just the project in a format that ended up being too big and when I chose the transcoding settings I had an option to select DVD more, it's a one-shot deal? I clicked on "Back to the Original", but that has not changed anything. I can't just clicks more now. All I want to do is to burn a DVD with a menu. Help, please!
I'm glad you found a way to get the revised project is completed.
And for confirmation that you have a dynamic linking PR CS5.5 with EN CS5.1.
If you have a project set to Bluray (in the project settings, not the building Board) and come back, it is the transcoding of bluray, but not the DVD. The draft is put to the bluray by chance? I see the choice of transcode grayed out for DVD if it is still transcoded after that the Bluray comes back.
Impossible to select the categories of Project reports
Using the monitoring of the Instantis 15.2 company. When a resource goes into the timesheet module and creates a timesheet, reports of administrative time categories and reports of nonworking time categories are displayed, but the project Reporting categories are not. If you click on the button select the categories, the option for a list of the categories of project Reporting is not verified and it is greyed out if it cannot be selected. In the module Administration, resources and Security Admin > project Reporting categories screen, there are categories defined and enabled for the initiative. What else needs to be configured to allow the categories of project reports time to appear on time sheets?
It is a setting in your function parameters. The boxes must be checked for each time segment. I'm assuming that they be checked because it's the default. Before go you there, log in with Admin Access and check your resource permissions. There is a permission of role at the level of project and non-project time.
How can I get into the BIOS or boot from a Live CD or the Windows installation disk?
Here's the background info:
Laptop: Acer TravelMate P273-MG-6608
OS: Windows 8.1
Actions leading to the problem:
I tried to encrypt the drive using BitLocker.
On reboot, I get the error message "no boot device, press a key."
When I hit a button, I get a boot menu that lists the HARD drive, DVD player and optional network initialization.
Booting from either the HARD drive (of course) or DVD does not work.
The discs I've tried:
Acer system restore disk
Restore Win 7 disc
UBCD
Hiren
Ubuntu installation (Saw elsewhere on this forum that worked for someone).
Methods that tried to access the BIOS:
Turn on/off the laptop while holding down the key F2.
While tapping the F2 key about once per second.
Same thing with the delete key.
Same thing with F10.
Same thing with Alt + F10
Same thing with F8.
Each method has tried several times without success.
Action taken:
Removed the HARD drive and connected to a work computer. In doing so, I was able to recover all my files.
Player settings appeared to all be correct. Drive letter C:, file NTFS format, primary partition, the recovery partition was there as well.
Re-inserted the original in the laptop HARD drive - without success.
Formatted the primary partition on the HARD drive, put it in the laptop, the same results.
Formatted the entire HARD drive, put it in the laptop, the same results.
What I see as options:
1. format the HARD drive outside Windows, for example using Hiren's Boot CD and Gparted.
2. in so doing, and imaging of the player with a 8.1 for Windows or ISO 7, if I can find a.
3. If I can get into the BIOS, I should be able to get the laptop to boot from something. Or disable UEFI, which I think is part of the question.
Any ideas on how I can enter the BIOS or get the laptop to boot from the HARD disk or a floppy disk?
Solved.
I downloaded the required BIOS file of:
Once downloaded, I extracted the files from the archive .zip.
Then I low-level formatted a disk USB flash with the FAT32 file system.
Once this is done, I copied the files from within the archive on the USB flash drive.
With the USB stick inserted into the laptop, I turned on it while pressing ALT + ESC. This brough to the top of the screen where I choose to hit F2 for the program installation, or F12 for the boot menu.
I pressed F2 and the BIOS came admin screen. Then I yelled something like ' Hallelujah! "
I changed the MBR to the STRANGE device, put in the first disk to factory default retrieve and press F10 to save and exit the BIOS.
The Acer splash screen went up, and the laptop booted into the recovery disc. It should work here.
I hope this helps someone in the future.
After careful consideration, today I decided to join Adobe Photoshop CC only to find out that it is not available to me that my laptop has Windows Vista. What are my options other than having to buy a new computer or an older version like Ps5 or 6?
1 can't read on a Windows "upgrade version" which, in my experience, does NOT require you to format your drive... updated on what you have, without disturbing programs installed... at least that's what happened the ONLY time wherever I installed an upgrade version, so I can't give a 100% guarantee that it will work with your computer in this way... search link for all the things Microsoft http://search.microsoft.com/search.aspx?mkt=en-US&setlang=en-US
2 - depending on the hardware you have, you may not be able to run programs CC well, or not at all
3 CS6 is 3 years and is the ONLY non - CC version always sold... unless you can find a "legal" somewhere CS5
