Impossible to select entry password to start windows.

Impossible to select entry password to start windows. The mouse works properly, but I can't click anything (password, face recognition our fingerprint reader). Only way I can connect to Windows is using fingerprint reader. How can I fix?

You could try to reinstall the software and drivers appropriate from here

  • Impossible to enter my password to open Windows

    My Acer 3400 (with Win 7 (64-bit) and Office 2000) has developed a number of small problems in recent weeks, sometimes opening pages in reduced format, hang up when I try to save the pages, etc. I removed Office 2000, with the intention to reinstall, and things are only worsened. The password page appears now, but my Microsoft wireless keyboard or an ACER USB keyboard can be used to enter the master password. I recently installed the software to an external hard drive WD My Passport and have saved the drive internal, but I hope I don't have to reformat and depend on the backup.

    Thanks, COLIENNE, for your quick response. I was able to use safe mode to achieve the restoration of the system, which I had tried before, dating back to several days. I tried again to return to the last entry (after I removed Office 2000). Let me come back to the office, and I was able to remove Office 2000 more completely this time, without apparent side effects. I have been unable to reload the office, my drive OEM who served me well since 2000, on multiple computers, so you install LibreOffice instead. I have not seen the disconnection problem since then, but as it was intermittent, it may or may not have disappeared.

    I printed your response, which can be useful in the future.

    Restore point:

    http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/using-Windows-Vista-system-restore/

    Do Safe Mode system restore, if it is impossible to do in Normal Mode.

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    http://www.windowsvistauserguide.com/system_restore.htm

    Read the above for a very good graph shows how backward more than 5 days in the System Restore Points by checking the correct box.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    If the system or Mode restore safe work not and you do not have a Microsoft Vista DVD, make a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
    Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.
    NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.
  • Can't get my GMail password! Settings > mail > Gmail: press the "re - enter Password' and the window starts to load, but then disappears.
    In my settings > Mail, Contacts, calendar, Notes under accounts is my GMail account which works perfectly well on my iPhone 6 until what I changed my GMail password. Of course, the next time I go to check my GMail emails on my phone (NOTE: I do not use a separate Gmail application) it tells me to update my password in settings.
    When I try to do it, by pressing the blue text "Reset Password", the Gmail window starts to open and then immediately disappears!
    I've been scouring the internet everyday looking for a solution. I tried the phone off (properly) and then restarting him. That did not help. I tried settings > Mail, Contacts, calendar, notes 'Add an account' but when I press 'Google' I have the same thing - the window starts loading, then it disappears.
    Just out of curiosity, I typed as others (iCloud, Exchange, Yahoo, AOL and Outlook) on the list and they all open a screen except for Google and Yahoo, which also starts loading but then disappears immediately. I wonder why it happens that Google and Yahoo? (I don't have a Yahoo email account configured on this phone. Only Gmail and Exchange (for work, that works perfectly, no problems with this one)
    So, when I tried failed to load Google connection/settings window, click on 'Other' on this list, thinking maybe I'll manually add my GMail account again (as a IMAP), but the iPhone doesn't let me do that without also configuring servers of incoming/outgoing mail as if it were a POP configuration? I gave up that idea.
    What I really want, it's simply Reset my password on my phone to my Gmail account in the settings. Does anyone else have this problem? Y at - it a bug known in this regard? Is there a work around for this? I'm doing something wrong? I have to take this phone to an Apple store and get help here?
    SOLVED! I thought about it. As usual, at the point where I have ask for help is when I tell me how to solve. It's simple, really. I was at work, so I guess that the security settings on the wifi of the company prevented me to access these panels (for some odd reason)? I simply turned off the wifi in the settings, and everything works perfectly.
    I hope that if all the world is facing the same question that helps.
    More of a problem of operating systems XP and how to bind the program files for the new version
    My system was not properly initialize (continulally reseting) to repair the fault that I had to make a form of repair of the windows installation CD. I now have version 2 of the windows XP operating system (host1 and windows 2) on my computer. Windows 2 is the version that works (constantly does not restart) ok, but all my program files, documents, etc. are still linked to the old version (windows 1) and therefore do not apear in the start menu. Is it possible to have these appear in the windows start menu 2, so I don't need to reload all my programs and also allow me to remove this old version that has been corrupted and not lose my files and applications. Thanks in advance.
    Hi Bill,
    It seems that you have reinstalled Windows XP on a different partition. In this case, you will not be able to use the installer on another.
    You will need to reinstall all the programs on the new facility and also, redo the settings.
    You can follow the below mentioned article to remove the invalid entry in the start menu.
  • Cannot start windows, impossible to reinstall windows, can't restore windows to the external hard drive or to an earlier point in time!
    I have a Dell studio 1535 laptop. When I start it the typical loading screen appears with Dell logo and the possibility to go to the installation or boot menu.
    If I leave this office, I go to the Windows Error Recovery screen with give me the opportunity to start the system restart or start windows normally. If I start windows normally, the loading windows screen comes up while the screen flashes blue with white writing (too fast to read) and I am referred to the Dell loading screen.
    If I select the Startup Repair tool, I come to a screen where I am asked to select my operating system, but the list is empty. It also shows if you don't see your operating system in the list then click loading drivers to load the drivers from your hard drive. He said now insert the device installation media, so I put in the installation CD for the drivers that came with my laptop. I browse through the files on the cd and select 1386 > R180982 > IAAHCI. This will display a list of drivers and I chose Intel(r) 82801HEM/HBM SATA AHCI Controller (I'll explain why later). However when I add this driver it says that the software that supports your device requires you to restart your computer. Also, if I check computer while browsing my HDD is not listed, which I think might be a problem.
    Furthermore, if I don't take any driver, and then click Next when I have 5 options. If I do the Startup Repair, it only takes a few seconds and said if repairs where succesful windows starts normally (which it doesn't).
    If I do the system restore an error comes up saying that, to perform an offline system restore, you must specify which windows installation you want to restore. By example, if the installation is in "C:\Windows" should be restored in the following command: rstrui.exe/OFFLINE:C:\Windows. I have it entered in the command prompt, it runs it sends me to the System Restore screen, but says that no restore points were created so that I can't keep (However, I know that I don't actually have the restore points.
    If I select Windows complete PC Restore it gives the error message "an internal error has occurred. The following information can help you resolve the error: the parameter is incorrect. (0 x 80070057) ».
