2-minute video takes 30 minutes to render?

OK, I have an Intel i7 860 Quad Core processor, overclocked to 3.7 Ghz, 8 GB of RAM DDR3, windows 7 64 bit,

I used Adobe After Effects CS4 with the latest updates.

I put the settings to make quickly using 4 all CPU. I have a video of 2 minutes with very little effect... basic fade transitions and change in tone of the color and contrast. The video is in HD 1920 x 1080 29.97 fps.

Why always takes 30 minutes to render a minute 2 video?

Thanks to all who help me!

I save out as "Quicktime movie" using "Photo-jpeg".

Why do you use PJPEG? Most of the people don't know what to do with this codec.

best settings are used.

At all levels? Do you have motion blur or interpolation activated?

Woah, I just dropped it for 13 minutes... He says: "59% used 4.0 GB" I thought anyway 8GG I do use more ram?

AE can't get very far to talk about what whether your rendering. The following image might include a huge image with heavy effects and estimated time could spend three days. And in three or four minutes, he could fall to 10 seconds.

RAM does not necessarily increase the rendering speed of the AE. You can search 'rendering speed increase' or "decrease in rendering time" here for several hours. I have no patience with these positions. My first AE projects required whole weekend to make an effect on a single layer. Made today in AE abilites is nothing miraculous.

  • Dreamweaver CS5 "Live View" makes all of a sudden take several minutes to render. How to solve?

In the subject line problem started a month or two it is a. never had this problem before. Running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, everything is up-to-date, no changes to DW or my system that could be the cause of the problem. I was reduced to downloading a DW page has changed its code mode and then it refreshing in a browser to see how he has made. Not good. Help appreciated.

This is not what I've proposed. I said looking for the links that start by / / and by replacing the standard http versions without replacing all / / with /.

Many content delivery networks use so-called 'related links of Protocol' for their scripts. These are the links that start by / / instead of http: / / or https: / / (spaces added to keep auto formatting forum in the Bay) is the reason why you would use them so you wouldn't have to rewrite links in a https page to avoid the mistakes of «this page contains secure and unsecure...» "in your browser. The / / links assume http: or https: based on the page they are in and the one who will use the page currently uses.

If you did a find for / / and replaced by / I fully expect your site to go bananas, it would break all the external links of the site because all the external links absolute reference will have the double slash.

Go back and look at your actual links and see if you have any starting with the double slash. Change the double slash to a normal http: / / during development (if your site uses http and https pages) or change them to http: / / versions permanently.

  • Video takes a LONG time

Howdy, everyone. I am currently shopping around for a video editing application, and I'm using the trial version of Adobe Premiere Elements. I love everything about it so far, except for one thing. It takes a long time to save the final video file (from the tab share). I noticed he gets to 50% fairly quickly, probably within five minutes and at that time there the progress bar slows down to a crawl. It takes more than two hours for the last 50% complete. Is this rare or should I wait?

Here's a little history of my project, in case this is useful.

The video project is a little less than 30 minutes.

On the sharing tab, I selected to export files for viewing on computers.

The type of video I want is WMV (Windows Media). I can vary from this format. It is a requirement of the project.

Image size: 1024 x 768. At the moment I can't vary that size. The video must be 1024 x 768.

    Frame rate: 30 fps

Audio: mono 48 kbps, 44 kHz, CBR

    Codec: Windows Media 9

    Encoding Passes: 1

Bitrate Mode: Constant (I also tried of Variable quality, but noticed no difference in time rendering)

Maximum flow: 200 Kbps (the first time I tried 2 000 kbit/s, but I noticed no difference in time rendering)

Image quality: 3 (I also tried 90 but once again without any perceptible difference when rendering time)

    My laptop:

    Windows XP Pro SP3

Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz

    2 GB of RAM

The window says that I would wait the video size to be 53MB in size, which seems reasonable. But when it finishes, it is more than ten times greater than this estimate. I don't understand why the file size is so big and the render time is so long.

My rendering time is governed or strangled because I am using a trial version of Premiere Elements?

If this is not the case, what suggestions you all for me? Am I be unreasonable while waiting for my render times to be faster than the duration of the video?

Thanks in advance for your help. Please let me know if I can provide any other details.

WMV is a highly compressed format/CODEC, and the duration of the treatment will depend on several factors:

Your CPU, which is not as powerful in your case

Your auxiliary I/o system, which is probably a single HDD on your laptop

The source footage. What is your source footage?

No effect added to the images. You have all the effects?

Each of them will have an impact on the time required.

The trial is that a single main limitation - watermark. Now, there are some components that need to be triggered, but are not tested, but they would not obvious with the import of your source footage, if it is a question.

    Good luck

  • Export - made video takes forever

Guys, I have a problem. Everytime I try and export a timelapse ol ' regular off cc of photoshop, it takes probably 10 minutes for the next screen appears, then would become very slow in this menu. If I want to rename it, it makes me wish always trying slowly and painfully, push the cursor, and then by deception freezes and I am stuck for another 5 minutes. Don't started even get me on the real export process. I just save my faults in a reasonable amount of time. What version of Photoshop?

Is the operating system 32 or 64-bit?  Your system has a dedicated video card, or is it with integrated graphics?   I guess you have only one drive and you have defined for the Photoshop workspace.  Check the root directory of this drive for the Temp of Photoshop files.  Photoshop will generate massive temporary files to video rendering with so little RAM, and if you have any problems (which is absolutely not surprising) you probably have orphaned temporary files with old dates that can be removed manually.

The key is that your material is really not until you ask to do so.  Photoshop has ceased to be able to run on 32-bit systems with only 4 GB of RAM back around CS4.  I wonder if you could better use another application for your time, like Quicktime Pro?  Note, am no expert with time.

I have one main video where a woman takes the floor. In his speech, I would like to continue talking while using different images that makes her disappear, but not the audio... How do I with IMovie on my IPhone?

See iMovie for iOS (iPhone, iPod touch): organize audio clips. You should be able to detach the original clip audio but keep them lined up, allowing you to adjust the video and then move on to still images while the audio continues to play.

    Hello

    1. what operating system is installed on the computer?

    2. what version of web browser work?

    3. do the same thing happens with all the videos that you try to play?

    4. I think you are referring to the videos online?

    5. How do you try to play the video?

If you use Internet Explorer and facing problems, watch videos online, then you can check out the link below:

The video problems when you use Internet Explorer

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/2532294

    Note:

There is no option within the operating system to increase the speed of buffering. Only way to increase the speed of buffering in some measure is to have a connection with a higher bandwidth. But note that as does you not an option of continuous play in CD or DVD.

Another work around that I do personally is to pause the video to complete the buffering and watch the video once the buffering completed.

    I hope this helps!

  • Using Insert > media > Flv but videos takes forever to appear. Why? How to speed up the loading on the page?

Hi, I used to use a video player freeware but DW CS5 kept giving me errors on this subject so I changed all my videos by usng the insert > video > menu flv. However, now the videos all can be 4 to 10 seconds actually appear on the web page - and they are not large files. I put an example here:

    http://www.enhanced-learning.NET/test3/test.html

I certainly have the readers and also transferred folders in the scripts. With my old video player would appear on the page instantly - no idea why it takes so long with CS5 or did I do something wrong? I'd like to see some examples other people did also embedded videos. Thank you

Dreamweaver is a Publisher, so pretty much once you create the files and download them, it does not matter if you used DW or any other editor, its now up to the server.

After typing that, I wasn't able to reproduce the problem you described.

  • Computer crashes constantly and now videos take forever to load and play.

When I look at where they come from, my computer hangs like a madman and half the time, I just videos, case is not giving up the video.  My computer freezes constantly, and yet everything is updated and functioning.  I could be reading a news article and all of a sudden the whole system goes black and white and then after about 30 seconds the computer turns off.  I cleaned it with canned air and everything recommended.  Can I go back to Windows 8 and abandon 8.1?  I need assistance with these issues and in other words please.  Why this keep happening?  What are the viable alternatives are there for all these problems?  Nothing started happening until my computer updated automatically with 8.1 and now has been a year of nightmares constantly.  Help, please.

    Helpless and needs fixing

I'm no expert, but I think that there is a problem with the Windows updates for 8.1 and HP desktop computers, dragged my mouse, its has been staticy with snoring and crackling and video would freeze intermittently. What finally fixed my machine was a complete restoration and blocking the windows updates. Now my machine is perfect except for the fact that the heartbeat sounds terrible. The beats are working fine now, they sound just terrible.

  • Acer takes forever to load videos

I have 3 year, acer aspire 3100 it seems to be well but the videos take forever to load and just flash player keeps crashing. What can I do to fix this?

Part of the problem is that your PC is a laptop 3 year old. I suggest get some RAM better and uninstall programs that take up a lot of space. If you use a bulky antivirus, try using MSE.

Second, try to visit the macromedia flash management page and delete the cache of the pages by pressing 'delete all sites '.
You can also try to re - install all the plugins.
  • The pre-rendered video - workflow question?

I feel like I should know this, but good... I don't have.

I finished the editing of a film to 90 minutes, many effects and layers in the timeline panel.  I have to make 3 different export the final video - one with stereo sound, an ac3 and other in 5.1.  But the video takes forever to render, some 60hours - and I wish I didn't have to repeat the video renderer for each of the audio versions.  Is it possible to render the video quality possible max and then just swap the audio tracks on it without re-rendering video?

I know that I can make my calendar in the first, but if rendered or not - which seems to have no effect on the rate of permanent export... ?

    Thank you

    Matt

You may export to a high-quality intermediate codec to create a 'master' video. Use something like AVID DNxHD or Lagarith Lossless, which are both free. Then, drag the resulting file in the top rail of the existing scenario. Export multiple H.264 it, but with audio files different on each. You can and probably should make COPIES of the sequence for each different output to keep them separate. Using the intermediate video, you will make all the effects, only once. Export in H.264 format from the intermediary will probably take just a couple of hours each then, rather than the 60 hours. According to the preview of the sequence rendering parameters, you cannot use any pre-rendered material because the preview codec might be a lower quality. Go DIRECTLY to the intermediary from the original sources of the timeline.

I assumed that PC - if on a Mac, then export as ProRes 422 HQ for the intermediary.

  • Optimizing video rendering in 2014 CC

I'm trying to fix a video GoPro 68 minutes using CC 2014 64 bit on a system Windows 8.1 with 16 GB of ram and an i7 2600K 3.4 ghz (core 4, 8 wires) system and it looks like it could take 36 hours to render 1080 p (780p seems not to be faster) colors.  I'm using an SSD for the video and as a scratch disk.  I checked my performance parameters, and they seem to be all good.  The Task Manager shows the use of the processor to about 33% - I would have expected more.  Is there a setting that I forgot?

Is there a setting that I forgot?

Well, you are using the wrong program? Forgive the sarcasm, but despite all this PS stuff is simply not a video editing application and all these features should work within the normal limits of the main program, which means that it is chewing through the images as if they were still images and more there is a right final bottleneck of decoding of images in the first place the expansion and the flattening of the buffers and then re - encode this return to a video format. Most of what happens in a single thread for temporal consistency, so there you have why your powerful CPU (theoretically) is sitting on its hands and do nothing for the other cores. Come to think of it, if you have saved 120fps your 68 minutes could almost equals half a million images of HD and an equal amount of batch processing images would take so much time. And there are tons of extra workload with PS creating lots of temporary files consumes your bandwidth transfer, maybe color management stuff requiring additional treatment, and what you have. So more or less, I guess you have to live with it or plan to use other video programs 'good' as Premiere Pro.

  • Reduce render time

    Hello

New for the Pro and get used to everything he can do however one thing that is causing a problem is made.

A 3 minute clip that has a few small clips added with a bit of tinkering takes 12 minutes to render.

My thought is Pro renders the full size video because it was recorded and I'm changing this size, when I'll be exporting to Vimeo at 1920 x 1080.

May I ask this question because of lack of knowledge but is there a way I can reduce the size now at the stage of work & edit so the video is smaller and so should be faster to render.

Just a question as in my head it sounds logical, but as with many things I guess that maybe this isn't the case

Any thoughts on that would be great.

    Best regards, Pete

    Hi Pete,.

When you say "12 minutes to render", do you mean exporting to Vimeo using Media Encoder or make the Red timeline to the green bar?

I usually do NOT make the timeline, as long as the reading is good enough for me to see the results of my edits and effects. I'll leave the Red segments, like stuff all gets made on export of anyway, so why do it twice? On this subject, if you return the timeline for the Green and in the SOUL, check the box 'use' prΘvisualisation, that could save a bit of time reposting is not the real effects, but still this preview file must be transcoded to the final output format so still "visited" twice. Which begs the question, how good is the 'Preview' codec used and do you really want this extra generation of quality loss? I never use previews and this means that the final export format is made directly from the camera of origin of clips.

Hope it makes sense. As mentioned in another ad, if you can share your system specs, maybe we can find a way for you to speed up the rendering. You use the mercury GPU acceleration? Makes a world of difference in performance. Sometimes just bump the RAM can help a lot too.

    Thank you
