2-sided Photosmart7520 jams

I tried 2 sided for the first time on my new Photosmart 7520. On each of the attempts about 10, after having successfully through the power supply at the rear the cluttered the frit paper roll feed as if it was not turning. I tried several times to disconnect and reconnect the power supply. The printer twice started printing jiberish and stained quarrel after clearing the jam in a 9 page job. It seems to print one side OK.

It was the duplex unit. HP replaced it for me and everything works fine now.

  • Brand new Photosmart C410A duplexer jams to each double-sided printing

I got a brand new HP Photosmart Premium Fax e-All-in-One Printer-C410a Monday. Today is Wednesday, and I have yet to print a two-sided copy successfully. It will print the first side of a page, pull the paper in the duplex unit, display clear paper jam then press O message, and I'll open the duplexer and remove the paper

Recto pages seem to print very well, but this product every time I try to print double-sided copies - the duplexer has not worked once.

The jammed paper that I am deleting is not torn or badly crumpled, and since he's out of the box for three days now, I can't believe he would already need cleaning. Is there something obvious that I'm missing, or do I just to cart this thing at the store?

(It doesn't seem to be relevant to this problem, but the printer connected via USB to an iMac running the latest update of Lion. I upgraded to good Lion before purchasing this printer, so the only drivers I have are the ones downloaded via Apple Software Update.)

Follow the instructions in cleaning here:

seems to have solved my problem, at least for now. I'm not clear on why a brand new printer, charge-out-of-the-box if need cleaning to work properly, but if that's all it took, at least, it's a good solution cheap and fairly easy.

  • Paper jam false messages Officejet 8600 N911a

Started receiving messages about 2 months ago.  It's happened to every 10 days to 2 weeks, but now it is happening more often.  The printer is used in general one or two times a day.  The message always appears when a print command is sent from the computer or you press the copy button.  In most cases, no paper changes or additions that have taken place since the last time that the printer was used.  Or changes in the ink.

I have more attention to messages that come on the computer screen on the printer.

Six messages to the point on the computer.

    1. Introduction to jam.  Tells me to remove the double-sided printing module.

There has never been a jam it.

2-5 lack of ink cartridge (each message appoints a different color)

All of the ink cartridges are installed properly - and all the cartridges HP 950 and 951 appropriate.

    6. lack of printhead failed

Print head is not absent, and it works fine most of the time.

The only way I can go forward is to turn off the printer.  I get a message on the printer displays asking if I'm sure I want to do this (or something like that) and I proceeded to turn it off (that I don't have the choice).

I wait a minute and turn it back on.  He me bawls to have turn it off then proceeds to realign the cartridges and wastes my ink, paper and time.

I searched a lot of small pieces of paper in all the places that the travel document but never found any.  Please note that I can print without incident and an hour later I have this problem.  Once I went through the steps of the printer works fine until another week or day.

When the problem occurs, it's ALWAYS before any paper began to move either from the toolbar State or feeder.

    Any ideas appreciated.

    "Hi lions99,

Depending on the cost I might prefer to have an authorized service HP person make the semi full reset, rather than risk bricking the unit.  I have a problem, however.  Using the "Partner Locator - United States" I can't find such a repair centre.

Don't forget that my printer is an Officejet Pro 8600

First, select the product category: Printers & Multifunction

    So far so good.

Then select a product family: Officejet.

I have an Officejet Pro, which is not a listed option.  So I accept Officejet.

Thirdly, select a product.  This SINGLE product is the Officejet 9100 series.

I have no other choice, I accept.

I live in Lafayette, Indiana 47904

I started by putting in a 10-mile radius and received the following message:

Sorry, we don't have a match for your search of partners. Please click search again and try to increase the search radius or using a different criterion.

I increased the distance until I reached 3000 miles (anywhere in the continental of the United States) and got the same address.

If I used the "HP local partner in my region" who had no option of mileage, I still get the same message.  Maybe it is because I don't have the right product, but I used what was available, hoping that a repair center works on my model, too.

I do not want to ship it anywhere, so if you can not direct me to a repair center that I might be willing to drive to, I'll need to do the procedure myself.  If this is the case, I will contact you to confirm/clear upward by a few points on the process.

I appreciate the help that you have provided so far and any additional assistance that could be provided.

    David ".

It would be difficult to just walk up to a repair center and get HP to replace or repair the unit. Your best option would be to call HP@8004746836 and see which option they have that they will give you the same statement I made in the product Monograph.

I suggest to call HP and see if they can help you by phone that might be easier to find a Service Center for repair near you.

  • Print duplex on HP 4630 causes paper jams

Whenever I try to print double-sided, my 4630 print the first side very well, then returns the document, but before he can print the second side of the tip of the paper seems to catch something.  The book comes out with a notch at the front, or simply crumples upward and blocking the printer.  Printing works fine.

I followed the suggestions online to remove the small pieces of paper from the printer.  They help with this problem.  Any suggestions?  I really want to print two-sided again.

    Hi @cmarceau

I understand that you said that you have followed the instructions online, but can you describe what you've done so far? I suggest cleaning the rollers and maybe by aligning the printer again, but I don't know what you did and what you might not have.

Maybe watch the following document and make sure you have completed all the steps suggested; A "Paper jam" message on the control panel.

Please also check that you select the correct paper for the printer type know how heavy the paper should be.

I look forward to hear from you.

  • HP Envy 4500: paper jam

I have a strange problem that nobody has ever seen on this forum that I can tell.

It not the elements how to print the document, wireless or wired or just straight up asking for an alignment page - sucks it the printer in a piece of paper, to spend some time 'impression' and then it jams. When I take the paper, nothing about this except for a black spot. The ink levels are both 90%. I took a flashlight and doing everything that I could to see if there is no actual jam. There are not. I cleaned both trays + rollers with alchol. When I open it upward to jam on, the book has no way to make even the print heads. It cannot continue beyond this section. I did nothing with it. It just started happening. Is this a problem with double-sided printing?

    Hello @larryzhang6263,

It is a great place to get help! I read your post and see that the book custody interference. Please provide detailed information and the steps you have already tried. I want to help you solve this problem.

As you experience this problem to print the alignment page, I don't think it would be a problem of double-sided printing.

It can be a carriage jam that causes this problem, try the procedure described in this paper: a Message appears 'Transport Jam' of HP ENVY 4500 e-all-in-one HP Deskjet Ink Advantage e-all-in-one 3540 Printer series. Do not take into account the title.

If the problem persists, contact HP customer care to find out what service or the recovery options are available. Check the model number and the form to receive a file number for

  • OfficeJet 6500 - printer constant jams

I just bought the Officejet 6500 a week ago.  No problem installing.  But, I noticed that I can print on 2-3 pages, then the printer starts to jam.  Real jams... I need to remove the paper and unity two-sided... only to have jams more once I print on more than 2-3 pages.  It is a constant, annoying and time consuming problem.  What is a problem for all printers Officejet or just the 6500 Series?  I saw the link on the cleaning rollers... I intend to give this option a try tonight, but I was wondering if there are other tricks or methods to solve this problem.  Any help is appreciated.  Thank you!

As long as you are standard weights and quality office paper, I think you may have a bad printer (I'm sorry about that).

I have a J6500 prototype printer in my lab at home and it was a great performance for me.  My suggestion is to share the printer.

  • 2-sided accessory does not not on C7280

    Hello...

The printing option 2 faces suddenly stopped appearing in my all-in-one Photosmart C7280 printer properties just now.

The device is installed, and this is confirmed by the tab Solution Center HP - settings - other parameters - parameters Network - Information - information about the device: "automatic two-sided printing accessory installed. It works really applications of MS Office 2010 which have their own list of print on the print screen settings, but even here, link by clicking on the properties of the printer gives only Off and manual options under double-sided printing.

The printer and two computers that have access to the it are all connected Ethernet to an ADSL modem/router (BT Home Hub 2). Wireless is disabled on the printer. The computer, the problem is a small form factor desktop Acer running Windows 7. the other machine, which shows the option 2 faces very well, is identical, except that it runs Vista. The Windows 7 machine was OK too, until I removed the 2 accessory faces to remove a paper jam. I completely uninstalled the HP software and re-installed from a download of the latest version, but nothing helped.

    Any ideas, please?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello

Go to the control panel and find the devices and printers. Right click on your printer icon and find the settings on the device tab. On this page, you should be able to find something like printing or duplexor 2sided, activate it. and then click ok. It should work again now.

  • HP LaserJet P4515 - error 13.05.00 out of Fuser, paper thin, Jam.

HP LaserJet P4515 - error 13.05.00 out of Fuser, paper thin, Jam.

I have frequent errors of this type during work duplex paper jam. Simplex jobs seem to work unless I'm trying to duplex manually by printing on one side then the other well.

When the jams, I will have a page hit the sensors after the roll before the transfer, usually empty the page following any given bin and my page duplex, which crossed once and came back to the backpage, folded under or on top of itself after its passage of the transfer roller, but before it hits the Fuser rollers.

Sometimes it wil happen all other double-sided pages, or it can leave 5-10 before doing it again.

Fuser has been replaced twice, because I thought maybe the first fusion unit was defective.

I ran the component tests, tests of sensor and they seem normal.

I need to know where I should look next.

Currently, I plan to change all of the food guide, since this is where the interference takes place.

The food guide was the culprit.

The main roller connected to the gear was broken, which allowed to get out of the lowest speed.

  • Printing multiple pages; going too fast and jams

I have a HP 1200 laser printer and want to print 85 double-sided copies, printing page 1 and then put back copies through to page 2. The problem is that the printer goes too fast and jams of all other pages or two. I can't think of anyway to slow it down, or any other reason for the jam. It works fine on small jobs.

Thanks for the information. I checked the "components", and they seem to be OK. I suspect that the problem may be the quality of the paper (dried, perhaps). I'll mark this as resolved.

  • Paper printer multifunction Dell C1765nfw color Jam error 077-901 cover rear

My C1765nwf has an error code of 077-901. I had been printing on paper layer by using a custom setting and a piece is dislodged from the plain paper that he was double-sided taped to. I got the paperwork on the back of the printer, but the error still appears. I guess that there may be a small piece of something in there, making the sensor thinks it is still stuck. I'm almost certain I have every piece of outside, but obviously I can't have.

I ran this test using a forum for a different Dell printer with the same error code ( http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/peripherals/f/3528/t/19260009 ):

' 1. turn the printer off.
2 press and hold the UP and DN keys while turning on the printer. the buttons can be released when the screen LCD indicates "diagnosis."
3 LCD should indicate "Client Mode" and "ESS Diag" (or something similar).
    4. press on the arrow of DN to display "IOT Diag". Press the button ENTER.
5 LCD should indicate "IOT Diag" and "Digital Input"; Press the button ENTER.
    6. press on TOP / DN buttons until the desired DI - xx is displayed, then press ENTER button to run the test.

The test we want to execute is the Regi-sensor test - DI-3. Press the arrow upward until the LCD shows "DI - 3 OFF" then press enter. The LCD display should now show "DI - 3 L 0". If it says "DI - 3 H 0", there is indeed little the area regi-sensor paper jamming. »

    My results show:

    DI - 0 H 0

    DI - 2 H 0

    DI - 3 L 0

    DI - 4 L 0

    DI - 5: 0

    DI - 6 L 0

    DI - 7 L 0

As the forum that I am referencing is on another printer, I don't know how to proceed. I have had this printer for about 4 months, when this happened, but I still had an old printer that I had used before that so I put just this side at a time. Unfortunately, I put her side for as long that the warranty is now expired, but I would really like to be able to use it again. I'm handy with tools and electronics, so I feel perfectly comfortable to try to fix it myself. I don't want to go tearing into it without any direction or knowing what I want even to. Does anyone have any tips for me to move forward? This who should I check/watch next?

    Hello NEITZKE,.

Please understand that this is mainly a forum for user-to-user with Dell acting mainly as a moderator, post answers when we are able to. If you need real-time support please contact Dell technical support by telephone or chat.

About your concern, the error code indicates a failure of the sensor input or debris stuck somewhere, try pressing and holding the AC button for about five seconds. Normally a blank sheet should be pulled thru forcing any debris. If the error persists, your best option is to replace the printer because it is the course of action that we would take if it was under warranty.

    Kind regards
