2000-2B19WM HP: 2000-2b19wm recovery disk

Where can I find the disc of recovery for this laptop?

Hello:

You can order it by going to the support page for your laptop computer, select the Drivers section, and then select the operating system of W8 and the link to order recovery disks will be the last element on the Web page.

http://support.HP.com/us-en/product/HP-2000-2b00-notebook-PC-series/5296210/model/5360117

But it is a problem right now...

All the drivers, specifications and manuals are missing from pages support again.

This happened earlier in the week also.

Another Member of the forum has reported the problem to administrators forum, which will be in touch tour HP, but since I am not employed by, nor do I represent HP, I don't know how long it will take to restore the missing data to the support pages.

Whether the weekend will not help much either.

    Hello

I have a hp Pavilion p6 2000 ukm. Recently I started getting on my HARD drive error messages, saying it was a failure. I recently bought a new HDD in my pc. I connected it correctly and it says that I need recovery disk / boot disk.

To my knowledge when I bought this pc there was no disk Windows 7. Now I know on workstations, you create your own.

My question is... How to get windows 7 installed on my new hard drive when I plug it in? I'm looking for the iso of windows 7, I think that his name, but I can't find any .iso file.  I'm trying to install windows 7 on my new drive HARD I need not my other files like music... etc. I'm looking to get my HARD drive installed with windows 7, where it has IE and I can go back to the installation of everything I had previously. Should u use "create a system image"? Its a big file and requires 7 + dvd discs is my only option? I have my 25 key windows 7 as well.

  • 2000 HP recovery disks don't work

    I have a laptop HP 2000 with Win 7 64 bit.

I tried to reinstall using the recovery disks that I made to my computer, they do not work. I got a box saying that my computer is not taken in charge, etc.

I ordered the HP recovery disks, using the number of my product, they finally arrived and same result:

This computer is not supported by the system recovery media

you will not be able to continue to recover this system with these media

    error:

    0100-3676-358B-358C-358D-358E-358F-3590-3591-3592

I called HP support and I gave to the first person information (product, series, etc.) and he insisted that I ordered the correct disks. I explained that I had ordered online, provided all the information requested and could not reinstall. He told me that I need to reorder online and it would help me so I came back and began to reorganize, even if I didn't feel I should have to pay. He then told me since it is their mistake, he would transfer me and I would like to get free new disks. I was transferred to another number, I began to explain my situation and he said that they were not supported and it would be for me, but back I'll transfer. They started to ask me the same questions and asked what I was getting the error... I had to end the conversation in order to prepare for work.

I installed Ubuntu to see if there is no problem, no problem. I was hoping to reinstall the original software, but could not. I reinstalled Windows 7 (I have the key that is on the bottom of the laptop), but there are a few unknown riders I need to reinstall it. Difficult, when we look at and no indication as to what the drivers that they are (network, etc.)

    I need help, suggestions.

    Thank you.

Paul, I'll give you a kudo for your help, not only for me but for others.

  • W8 2000 HP recovery using factory disks

I have HP 2000-bf69WM with the W8. Failed hard drive. He passed one of the two tests of system bios and a failure. Sounded good in the docking station but tumbled when tried to access data! You had to buy new HD (WD Black) and ordered HP recovery disks.  Recovery seemed to go through 3 dics of disks and drivers and applications from the OS, but had finished last reboot. I just get HP screen with rotating circular points. Insert drivers n Apps disk seemed to perform formatting HD still too well. Even if I jump this disc.  Have you tried with and without the disc and used web HP instructions to disable secure startup enable legacy startup and boot from the CD/DVD. All methods of the wind to the top of the same way. HP screen with rotation points.  When I shoot the HD and put in docking station, it shows that a single partition of 79 Gb was made and a partition not allocated 230 GB. New HD, passed tests in the computer laptop and docking station.   Despite numbers on paper shipping is not not to numbers of reference on disks that HP sent me they assured me this is normal and I have the correct drives. Some tips on how I can get the recovery to go correctly?

After a few attempts more, I downloaded the trial version W8 business 90 days of Microsoft, made an ISO disc, and installed correctly on my 1st try!  Makes me wonder what they would have to do for $250 facilitate the recovery process with recovery disks correct what is called, they sent me!  It's time to call HP again to see if I can get the recovery disks correct or my money back.  My life with HP started with their calculator ridiculous using reverse Polish Notation... which is why I also bought the first graphing calculator TI, then went to their lie on the phone right now support life if I bought a computer from them... which ended in a lawsuit and a cheque for $25 and promise to give that support , included a few ok so bloated desktop and laptop computers, a scanner of shit compared to Epson, high cost of use printers and ends with that stupid W8 laptop.  I just wish I was younger I could avoid buying shit on their part for several years!

I guess my next steps will be to see if I can get the embedded W8 COA key when using the W8 in Microsoft trial then to find a normal drive to W8 for install and activate the drivers of conclusion on their shit so take over page (from Dell)... unless I can get HP to do something about these discs.

  • 2000 - 2B10NR: hard disk at startup error...

They gave me this computer from a friend to keep and fix (out of warranty) and I turned on, I get the message

    Hard drive error
Run the hard drive Test in the diagnostic system.
    Hard disk # (XXX)

I searched your forums and thought it is better to buy recovery disks. Yes, I did.

They came and I installed everything and became happy and then at the end (2 hours), the Recovery Manager said he failed and gave a system error log. I recorded it on my usb key. Then tried again. No luck...

I did a test lying on the hard drive and the first time he says failure of long DST: 6BS883 - 6 B 7806-MFGK1F-61? ED03

So I need to know if it's a simple hard drive failure.

Everything came out OK in tests.

I found that a replacement HARD drive on ebay for $ 30 and it's an easy replacement procedure.

I just need a confirmation of this is the failure of HARD drive before you buy

What HARD drive I see for my model:

320GB SATA drive hard - 5 400 rpm, 2.5-inch small form factor (SFF)

Is this correct? There is no model custum. Bought at the store with equipment and factory settings.

    Thank you

Yes, DST Fail means that the hard drive is bad. The 320GB hard drive matches what you have now.

  • Cannot start on Qosmio x 300 recovery disks

    Hello everyone
I just got my Toshiba Qosmio x 300 - 13O return of repair today.
It was a note that they had replaced the hard drive, so I have to reinstall everything.
OK, no problem, I have some recovery disks to handle this.
Problem is, when I start the computer, it says:

    Intel UNDI, PXE - 2.1 (build 082)
    Copyright (C) 1997-2000 Intel Corporation

For Realtek RTL8100E/8101E Fast Ethernet Network Adapter v1.02 (060510)
PXE - E61: Media test failure, check cable of
PXE - MOF: Exit PXE ROM.

It's pretty strange, I thought, so I checked if anyone else had a similar problem.
One of the suggestions that I could find was to check the BIOS boot configuration, which I did with no effect.
Another suggestion is to disable the LAN, which I also tried, but... after reboot, it says:
    Operating system not found.
I also tried resetting the BIOS with no effect factory settings so my question is quite simple, what to do now?
I will not open the computer because I'm worried about my warranty so any help is appreciated.

    Hello

Have you ever used recovery disks in the past?

At first you can not use some recovery disks but the disks with recovery designed for your model laptop image. I have a Qosmio x 300-14 x and I have 4 discs for her recovery DVDs (self created).
This message occurs if the OS is not installed on HDD and recovery disc doesn t start.
In the trunk, the order is listed LAN too and if the list of all bootable devices in front of LAN can not start then you will see this message and there is nothing unusual.

So please use just original recovery discs.
Start your laptop and press F12 repeatedly
When you have the menu with all bootable devices, place the recovery disc 1 into the optical disc drive.
With the up/down arrow buttons to choose the CD/DVD drive and press ENTER.

Just follow the menu on the screen.

  • Re: Blue screen on Tecra R850-1HU install Win XP Recovery disk

    Hello

I have a Tecra R850-1HU that comes with windows 7 pro

I stopped the media recovery for win xp

The installation is correctly with xp and when I reboot, I see the logo win xp for 1 second and then screen (0x0000007B) Blue

    I try safemode... nothing works

I have load mini windows xp from a cd and I see all the files on the hard disk from the cd of recovery if it s installed

I try to put the bios sata to ahci or compatible with the same problem

I try many times with the same problem on a different machine with the same problem

The laptop is returned to Toshiba (they have installed win xp from an original cd of microsoft, so I need activation, and I have to do this on 20 computers laptops and good course that no, the toshiba cd creator app, win the dvd...)

I contact toshiba, I'm not sure that they understand what I want, I got a new dvd of restoration with the same problem

Anyone has a solution I would be very happy

Maybe something to change in the bios but I don't know what?

    Thanks for any help

In General original Toshiba recovery image is tested and should work properly on certain model of laptop. If there is a problem with recovery original you should clarify this with Toshiba directly.
As far as I know the BIOS should be set to default settings and nothing should be changed in the BIOS settings when you want to use the recovery image.

All I can imagine is that there is something wrong in the image itself. In the past, I had a similar problem with old Portege 2000.

Is done: If you want to use the original image you must clarify this with Toshiba. Toshiba must offer good job recovery image. If you want to use own WXP then you must purchase the license for this. Toshiba has nothing to do with the activation of the OS.
(> I have to do this on 20 computers, laptops and of course not, the toshiba cd soft > creator, win the dvd...)
    How to understand this?
You want to buy a recovery disk and install it on 20 laptop computers Tecra absolutely identical?

  • Bought the new model of HP m8530f... impossible to create the recovery disk?

Bought above the pc about 3 months... still new to all this, I'm just a simple user of office applications and surfing.  Fallen on the disk recovery and reading that you can create your own recovery disk or the order of HP.

Once again, the pc brand new.  I was all order from HP, but saw wanted to try to do it myself and save $20.  I followed the steps, arrived at Recovery Disc Creator, the moment where I click Next I get an error like this:

"A recovery disk set was created for this pc. That one game is allowed per pc.

WTF?  It was brand new, out of the box!

All this experience?  I really don't want to pay HP $20 when I can make myself at home.  However I can not because as the "already created recovery disc?

    What can I do?

I was able to connect and discuss with a representative of HP.  They have made an exception and will betray me a free recovery disk!

Now, that's service! That means a LOT to me!

Thanks for your suggestion to CherylG!  I have not found this file, that you suggested... and not an expert to change the extensions of file... so don't go any further!

    Hello

First of all, I don't know if I post the question in the right place, and I apologize if I'm not.

I bought the laptop with windows 7 and received two CDs with it, one for install windows 10 and the other to re - install the software that came with the computer.

I used a program before moving on to Windows 10 * that has been activated with my finger, saved my passwords, and I was able to connect to my windows with the fingerprint account.

After the upgrade to windows 10 and install all of the software contained in the software recovery disk, I can't find this program.

This software should come in the recovery disk? Why is it missing? How can I get that again?

  • Satellite A500 - problems with the creation of recovery disks

    Hello
I bought a Satellite A500 yesterday and now I'm trying to create the recovery discs before anything else.
However, towards the end of the 1st DVD I get an error message saying "Faile dto open the next file. e:\Boot\BCD (0201123-F1-00000000 error code)"and then when I click 'OK', the DVD is ejected giving a message"unable to create recovery 1' media. Physical examination, I noticed that the DVD is written almost entirely.

Any advise on this? In addition, in the interface, it shows a USB option and says to insert a USB media with more than 7 GB of free. That I can use it to create the recovery disk? If Yes, when I reinstall windows 7, this allows as a bootable drive?

Greately appreciate any help on this matter. If it is defective, I want to return as soon as POSSIBLE.

    Thank you
    Mercier.

As far as I know, that you can not use external device for recovery, it is therefore very important create recovery DVDs.

Try to create the recovery disk using only DVD-R media. Use high quality media like TDK or Verbatim.
Last month, I've created on the Satellite A500-157 recovery discs and everything went well.

  • Satellite Pro C660-1LR - new HARD drive but no recovery disk

I need help for my son who is the Satellite Pro C660 1LR laptop.

In this portable hard drive is completely dead, I have not created a disk of recovery for this system of portable computers.
I bought a new hard drive that is installed... However, as you guessed it I have no access to reinstall an OS, this laptop works on windows 7.

I'm not really tech savvy so if someone can advise me please do explain to the fool proof format! I try to avoid having to buy something expensive.

    > I'm trying to avoid having to buy something expensive.
Problem is that you don't have many options in this regard.
If you want to have the factory again settings you must install recovery disc. You can order on https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx of course is not free, but, in my opinion, without a doubt the best solution.

You can buy the Microsoft installation disc and install the clean version. You must purchase a valid license for it.
In this case, you must install all the necessary drivers, tools and utilities for more than one by one.

Just in case you can get this installation of Microsoft and the free license you can save money.

Believe me, the best solution is the original recovery disk command.
