  Hi all

  I am wanting to change the existing WiFi card in our Satellite L50 - B (Qualcomm Atheros ar956x) due to the limitation of speed of connection 150 Mbps! We have a router AC and I move 800 Mbps!

  I was hoping to use an Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 however the cards seem to be physically different.

  + Board form factor: half a PCIe card Mini / m2 (NGFF).

  As far as I know the WLan module that is built into the laptop supports Mini-PCI card format.
  So, you have a miniPCI module.
  But you should consider BIOS support. Not all wireless network cards could be supported by the BIOS.

  I have a laptop of 15 t - n200 old HP Pavilion of 4 week which is 8.1 Windows Pro 64-bit.

  I also have (and am downgrading) a HP Pavilion DV8 - 1000 CTO.

  I was shocked to discover that my old laptop has a dual band NETWORK card and my other does not work!  I was even more shocked to see that HP does not sell the current line of the pavilions with a dual band NETWORK card (I thought I bought one online).

  I have 2.4 G and 5G in my house (I need 5G to run the products as my Apple TV with movies stored on an external hard drive).

  I tried to get an answer from HP, nothing done, at this point.  I even opened an executive complaint (case No.: 300369376) with a nice boy named Jeff who knows little about the technical aspects of the Wi - Fi.

  Can I replace my current map of the NETWORK (from my DV8-1000) interface card in my new TouchSmart 15 t-200?  It's going to be a problem of white list?  Can I install the Intel dual ac 7260HMW card?  Or, I'll buy the NETWORK card that is appropriate, but I need 5G connectivity or else I lost $748.00 on a Clipboard of HP.

  I'm practically LIVID that I have could not buy a NIC dual band with my new Pavilion, but was able to do this with my old DV8t of 5 years.  And more that HP did not have that clear during my online purchase.

  All I can say is try your dv8 card if it's the same form factor half mini card.

  HP didn't / don't have the BIOS whitelists certainly to your dv8, but I read a few posts from our forum members who have installed different dual-band cards (I also think that includes the new Board of Directors of Intel cards) in their series notebooks Pavilion 15/17 with no problems at all. I refer to such a post below.

  The referenced model is a display model 17 inches of the 15 series and what blew my mind was this material even has the 7260 Intel and AMD worked!

  This leads me to believe that HP may have abandoned this practice.

• Inspiron 17R SE (7720) upgrade screen resolution?

  I have a 'special edition of the Inspiron 17R"(serial number: DCC2DT1) and I used it for about 2 and a half years.
  Not once in that time has stopped working, I'm very happy with it and I would update some components and I hope to continue to use it for a few years.

  I am looking to change/update the screen 1600 x 900 on a Full HD 1920 x 1080 display.
  My main question here is, if this is possible and will not be a problem, and if I could use first put the other components of the laptop?

  I would also like to upgrade the HDD for an SSD and a day later the Intel i7 Intel i5 processor. Is this what I need to know before I Exchange/upgrade components?

  To upgrade the display panel, you must also replace the harness of the display - one that comes with the lower panel of the resolution will not work with the FHD display.

  SSD upgrade will not be a problem

  Updates are possible with this model (it is the last of Intel Mobile processors, which is sold in the form of half-bridge, removable) - you will need an Ivy Bridge CPU.  Also check your power adapter - 90 w does not have an i7.  You need a minimum of 130 W power adapter to run an i7 CPU.

  I am a very experienced data architect who will develop a data-driven web application which will include about a dozen forms and half as many reports. I am to decide what development environment to use. I considered learn Java, but the learning curve seems steep. Ditto for PHP. In a previous life, I know that Oracle Forms and reports, but they seem more appropriate for a client-server configuration, not a web application. Then I fell on Oracle Apex, which seems ideal to take advantage of my SQL and PL/SQL experience. Be a sole proprietor, the price seems good. The app will basically an application of forms/States that requires a fairly complex relational database design and complex business logic (perfect for Oracle and PL/SQL). The user interface will be simple. Because users will be potentially from the four corners of the country, I believe that the application should run on an ISP server or in the cloud.
  
  Developers knowledgeable Apex can you tell me if I am barking the wrong tree for this project? Advice and guidance will be appreciated.

• How can I check the function constructor alt + shape?

  I am trying to remove the half (right half of a heart) form covering half right with a filled rectangle and drawing through half of the heart that I want to delete and the rectangle with the tool shape while the two forms are selected and all by pressing the ALT key. This should remove the half heart and rectangle, leaving me with the left side of the heart, so I can copy/flip it for a symmetrical heart, together.

  I removed the guides so there is no interference, and the two shapes (heart and rectangle) are selected (the two show eyes of bull on the layers panel).

  I have reset Illustrator (open while pressing shift + ctrl + alt). Received a message saying afterwards that my live paint bucket plugin could not be found. I can't find info on the Adobe website about the restoration of this plugin.

  I'm under Illustrator CS6 as an application of the creative cloud.

  It seems that I need to fix my Builder form and live paint tools?

  The green path is an opacity mask. Form generator does not work with this type of object.

  Make sure that it is an object of common path, and then try again.

• How can I use axis layer against the axis of the world to animate?

  I'm open to other ways to address the issue.

  I am trying to create a sphere using multiple images. Say, 200 images, arranged in 3d space, so they face outward and together form a large sphere. Pretty standard thing (like the sphere glowing apps blue droid in android ads, like this).

  I used red giant PlaneSpace quickly take a sphere. I want to "explode" the sphere for all images to move away from the centre of spheres, but in a staggered and random way rather than all at once.

  I thought it would be easier I see each orientation layers changed each axis of layers. So the layers of the z-axis of the Center points.

  Example:

  

  I tried to use a simple linear expression to update the Z axis over a period of 20 seconds to its current position minus 2000, like this:

  AMT = linear (time, index, index + 20, position [2], [2] position - 2000);
  Transform.position = [position [0], [1] position, amt];

  This updates the position of the z axis, but it is based on the world axis (or axis of the model), not the axis of layers. The axis of layer, I want to talk about is the widget of the axis that appears when you select a 3d layer and the axis 3 widget to see red/green/blue appears.

  How can I get the expression to use the axis layers rather than the world?

  Is there another approach to this? I'm certainly not up-to-date on 3d trig enough to write a formula to chart a course far from a specific 3d point. If all goes well, there is a simple way to do this that I forgot.

  I will add that I have attach all 200 pictures to a null value, scaled to null, and it grows not all photos now. I also added a reverse scale expression to keep them the same size they were initially instead of scaling upwards with a null value. However, I really want to blow way random and not "both" and I need to get out of the null concept for this scaling access to each photo.

• How to create a transparent png of sem

  I created a rectangle with corners rounded in Fireworks and I would like to save it as a transparent png, so that the central part of the rectangle is transparent, but the outside of corners is not transparent.  This is so that I can overlay on a background image to a Web page, which makes the image have rounded corners.  How can I do in the middle of the rectangle is transparent?

  Make a standard rectangle that is the same size as your rounded rectangle (or whatever it is, to display). The information panel is an easy way to ensure that the size and location is accurate.

  Use the layers panel, move the rectangle below your rounded rectangle.

  Select both objects, then go into the menu modify > combine paths > Punch. It will drill a hole of rectangle to round in your rectangle corners.

  (Punch punches of the superior shape in the lower order, that is why your existing rounded rectangle should be above your new standard rectangle in the stack of layers).

  Something like this (where I have the biggest standard rectangle rounded rectangle). Half upper picture shows the two individual forms. Half lower shows the standard rectangle with the rounded rectangle knocked out of him.

  

  But... what you can do is to select your image, copy (Ctrl-c), then select your rounded rectangle (or any shape), then go to the Edit menu > paste inside (or Ctrl-Shift-V). (It's a good technique when your image is exactly the size you want, you want just rounded corners).

  Or, you can do a white rounded rectangle, place it on the part of your picture that you want to display, select the rectangle and the image and go to the Edit menu > mask > Group as mask. (It's a good technique when your image is larger than the part that you want to display, but you don't know exactly what you want to do).

  I tried to play with the parameters of rotation replicator, but it just seems to turn every particle, while I want to than the entire particle system to rotate.  I want more diversity in the flow of particles that I created, as they seem to be on a loop, repetition of the same pattern.  In my view, adding a random rotation system will do the trick, but I can't seem to remove it.

  The parameters that I modified for the effect so far are as follows (all other settings remain by default):

  Setting the scene:

  Sphere model

  Segments = 16

  Normal threshold = 180 degrees

  Optimize the mesh = we

  Select the deformation = we

  Group 1:

  Particles count = 5 000

  Form of Replicator = sphere

  Replicator Effects > set noise > noise evolution = + 0 x 88 degrees to + 1 x 88 degrees (more than 5 seconds)

  Replicator Effects > set noise > amount of noise = 103 to 166 (more than 5 seconds)

• Images lose resolution in 3D

  I have a map of the world custom for my fantasy series created in Photoshop CS5 (in 2D) I want to turn into a globe. The image size is 14 400 x 7200 pixels. When I have a 3D form, convert the image (new form of layer-> Sphere) the resulting 3D image loses a lot of resolution, that when I see it in real pixels, I can barely read the text. Everything is extremely blurry. Is there a way to fix this or is it just a conversion process of the image of a 2D to a 3D object object? Thank you.

  Set your final render quality. OpenGL will be downsample any texture to the maximum size can handle your graphics card, is why it loses resolution.
