  The time for repair is usually fast (about a week) but it depends on the availability of parts. If the repair center must change some parts, but the items are not in stock and must be ordered, it could cause a delay in the repair. I recommend that you give lenovo support a call for more information on the warranty repair process.

  If you have applied the hotfix "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power", try to use the machine with and without the Microsoft mouse and observe. If the problem remains the same, it is probably not one that is at the origin of the problem.

  There are parts of the screen (near the Center, slightly to the left) doesn't react don't not to my fingers.

  I just put Aspire R7 my daughter (15) windows 10. All is well except that the contact and the active digitizer not working.

  In Device Manager, everything looks good (no warning), under Interface devices, I have an element of HID compatible touch screen that says that the device works properly and is the latest Microsoft driver dated 2006.

  I had the same problem, there was repititve 'ghost touch' along the top of the screen. I thought that this was due to the defective touchscreen and I wanted to order a new screen. but really, somehow the driver I downloaded, fixed it for me.

  Perhaps, windows replaced the driver n-trig that you have installed, and he brought the question?  I suspect this is what happened in your case, it has been proven that the driver solves the problem, that, he returned. Windows 10 is known to replace the appropriate drivers by defective of microsoft (particularly his driver) updates.
