3 color separation - viewable problem with high-pass filter help

Hello and thanks in advance for your time and help!

I fix a color image created with color separation negatives, 3 images black and whites (captured on photographs) combined in the RGB layers to create a color image. The original negatives have been very badly damaged, so the alignment and the correction was quite complicated.

I'm finally get closer, but there is still a lot of blotches that I have a problem fixed, where each of the channels have been under/over exposed, creating stained yellow or green, etc.

I tried to use the high-pass filter and discovered, he shows me exactly my problems - of the high-pass filter usually makes all grayscale, however I see blue exactly where I need to make a correction - see screenshot.

How can I selectively change this field! Other ideas for filters or way of singling out this broken capillaries to make adjustments? Editing is really not help color balance, I tried also to hue/saturation, but I am not able to isolate problem areas.

If a channel in the filtered image is useful and then load it and use it as a layer mask (and change with the curves and the additional filters needed).

Known issue. Adobe work on a fix. No ETA when the fix will happen.

In the meantime, you have several options, in successive order, based on the convenience of quality of life:

    • Hold down the ALT (Opt on Mac), click and hold the filter in the menu bar > drag on toward the bottom to liquefy > release. This temporarily disables the GPU acceleration. Note that it will take more time for your images to deal with but they will treat as before.
    • Use the 8-bit instead of 16-bit images images.
    • Click Edit > Preferences > Performance and disable your GPU in the upper right, under "Settings of the graphics processor." Note that this will disable the GPU acceleration in all areas in Photoshop; you need to return to reactivate it to other filters.
    • Use a previous version of Photoshop.

    ... but I don't get it.

I hope that makes sense, because I'm having a hard time to explain. Basically, I do not see my image (as in the first photo above), I see the high image passed instead.

    Jeff

Be aware that happens if you hide the effect of the dynamic object, you will have just the layer mode to overlay, which isn't want you want if you will exacerbate. You want the mask on the layer itself.

  • Color laserjet 4600 - problem with one color (yellow) for the most part does not print

Colors look purpleish when printing photos. It turns out that this is a problem with yellow print.

We tried to replace the yellow toner cartridge, and it was not fixed.

PQ troubleshooting, the yellow page is empty except for a thin (16th of an inch) to 99% a horizontal line at the top of the page.

In the configuration page, all the different areas that should have the yellow are mostly empty, with the exception of the same sort of thin horizontal line at the top of each of these areas. After updating the firmware from 03.001.0 to 03.016.0: in addition to what is described on the configuration page, some of the fields in the configuration page that should be yellow, have a pale magenta and more this yellow line.

Our technician came several times and has so far tried to replace the hvps, scanner laser, toner alignment and trainer kit Board. Nothing has improved the question. Then for the replacement is the regulator dc ($1000).

Anyone here have an opinion on what could cause this problem? It seems they are just throwing parts at home and we're about to tell them to give up.

It wasn't the dc controller. I figured out well out - somehow, there was a spring missing behind one of the speeds in the train of drum roll.

  • High-pass filter question

    Hi all

I have a question about the high pass filtering in LabVIEW simply based on observation, have never been taught directly on the filters.

A signal of high pass filtering, with a Butterworth IIR filter (2nd order) for example, around the time Fortran, = 0 there is a transition from a high-intensity "false" at a rate expected, as the officer although this is achieved thanks to a program as I have nothing else to hand at the moment. In order to minimize the importance, for the rest of the filtered signal, you can increase the sampling time, change the filter settings or even add time of additional levy in order to truncate it.

Is there an established method to get around this? The reason why I ask is because I'm trying to distinguish accurately Laminar and turbulent parts of a signal of speed but on time = 0, in a completely laminar signal, our method returns false positives for the presence of turbulent structures. I assume that this will always be the case, but it is better to ask first and concluded later!

    Thank you.

All filters have a transient initial. You must wait until it has settled on or try to compensate for the spike in some way. Transitional measure also depends on the input (including any noise) signal, it is generally not possible to compensate exactly.

  • I have a problem with the numbers. Help, please!

I have a problem with the numbers. I am trying to create a formula that can add a cell only when another cell with a pop-up menu returns on a specific pop. I can't ignore the cell if it is not on specific pop upward.

assuming the cell with pop's cell A1

and if the context menu contains items:

    YES

    NO.

    MAYBE

and the value you want to add in cell A2

You can add the value in cell A2 when the context menu is 'YES' like this

    = if(A1="YES", A2, "") +.

where is the expression that adds other cells if you want

    could be another cell

    = If (A1 = "YES", A2, "") + B2

    or a range of cells

    = If (A1 = "YES", A2, "") + sum (B2, D2, G2:H5)

  • Nook Color ereader & connectivity problems with router WRT610N

I recently bought a new Nook color ereader for my wife. As long as a network administrator, I thought that this would be an easy task to configure the ereader to connect with my Linksys WRT610N router on the 2.4 Ghz band. But I'm running problems when connecting. The question seems to have intermittent connection problems where the meals seem to see the wireless network, authenicates, tries to get an IP address, then connects for a short period or removes the signal very quickly while being right on top of the router with the device.

By the recommendations of various forums of Nook, I had the best luck with the following...

    2.4 Ghz band settings

    SSID: NookNetwork

    Channel width: 20 GHZ

    Standard channel: 9

    SSID Broadcast: enabled

    Security mode: WPA2 Personal

    Encryption: AES

    Passphrase: set out

    Key renewal: 3600

    UPNP: disabled

    RTS: default

    Defragmentation: default

    Tag: default

However, the problem still resides in an intermittent connection to the wireless network. I also tried various arrangements of the channel to both channels 1, 6 and 11 with my best cponnecting chance to channel 9. I also played with the security and disabled all together and have plugged but always file (will not however run the unsecured network). Also try a tag value of 75, a framework of fragmentation of 2306 and 2307 RTS setting. My computer laptop while run and connect properly.

I use the latest software updated both on the color of the corner. I am at the end and have searched high and low to get suggestions, and have not yet reached a compatible connection. Please help... Thank you! And my wife thank you in advance! Smiles!
