    Nope.

  • Reference Dell 3115 scan to computer on the network

So we have a 3115cn configured to analyze 10 different computers via SMB. Scanning features has been uneven at best (because of certain parameters mainly) before I completely deleted the address book and started on. I put all using port 139 and the username password / activated, etc. set up to scan to a shared folder called "SCAN" directly to the root of the hard drive. This worked great for a month or two. The only complaint was a user occasionally (like every two weeks) got an SMB error (I've never seen the code or I would include it), asking him to turn off its network card and turn it back on and it would be solved. This morning, to try to resolve this nuisance, I changed a few settings and viola! the error changed. I stopped to make a mistake SMB/FTP and login error 016-782. I have recently, in an effort to organization, changed all the computer names and IP addresses of these computers, so I was afraid that I had broken the scan for all ten machines feature (even if I changed the IP on the scanner address book addresses; believe me, I double and triple checked these, they are correct). I've tested everybody, and 3 out of 10 are coming with the error 016-782, so it's really unlikely that it's because of my changes to IP/ComputerName.

I noticed on one of the 3 computers shared settings common "SCAN" of the case had changed, so I changed them back, and I found once more a massive success in the shape to change the error message. Now, always get a connection error, the error read: 016-783. User names, passwords, and IPs are all correct on 3 computers that cannot scan, and all the settings are exactly the same as the other 7 machines. I tried to disable the antivirus without success, and, similarly, all 10 computers use the same antivirus with the exact same parameters. At this point, I see absolutely no reason for these 3 should be impossible to scan when the other 7 work very well. All of the suggestions that I have not already tried? I also tried deleting entries in the directory 3 individual addresses and recreate them from scratch.

OK, probably should not have taken the trouble this announcement on these forums, because I already managed to fix it myself. For anyone with a similar problem, I was able to solve the problem by removing the 'SCAN' folder on the computers in question, it recreates with the same exact parameters, and it works now. Judging by the wealth of messages on the 3115cn network scanning problems, it seems that it is just a machine glitchy requiring sometimes absurd solutions...

With the help of the network location and mapped a drive to the server FTP off site; during the transfer of very large amounts of the login information is always lost.  Computer power settings are configured to not to do no matter what, I'm assuming that the ftp server can publish a scenerio timeout but is there a way for my computer and windows to restart the file transfer?

    Hello

Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Community forums.

I see from the description of the problem, you have a problem with networking on the FTP server.

The question you posted would be better suited in the Technet Forums. I would post the query in the link below.

I have to type this information every time I restart Dreamweaver, even if I check the box 'Save' This has changed in the past months, as he used to work. I run ZoneAlarm and XP SP2 and Spyware Doctor. Any ideas? Thank you.

  • FTP login stopped working on Dreamweaver

I connect via FTP to my server two different Mac computers, a Dreamweaver CS3 running and the other - CS5.

One day the computer running CS3 stopped connection using the credentials. Same credentials work very well to the other computer.

An expert from Adobe told me in the trash a bunch of preferences files and "pure software", but after I reinstalled it and restarted, Dreamweaver still not forget my serial number and the address of the FTP server to which it still does not connect. So it wasn't really a 'clean' reinstallation, was it?

Does anyone know how to make a true 'clean install' or maybe just trash the file that contains the serial number and the connection (probably corrupt) information?

    Thanks for your help.

    Vlad

Use a 3rd party client like Filezilla FTP, while you are working on the problem.

FileZilla - the free FTP solution

Thing to consider.  It is possible that your Mac user account is corrupted.  Try to create a new full super user with read/write permissions.

It is a well known problem in DW8.0.

  • How can I get the FTP login information?

I got the information from someone who used to work on the site.  I didn't write it, or if I did I don't know where I got it.  I need to be able to say to other people and have no idea of what it is.  I am able to use DW to connect to the server.  Is there a way I can get this information from DW?

The call to the hosting company is the easiest way.

  • How do you define a default value for ftp sites to always open with Windows Explorer (instead of Internet Explorer)?

When I opened sites ftp from one of our other offices, I get a screen of login and password.  Then the site will automatically open in Internet Explorer.  So I go to the Page/open ftp site in Windows Explorer.  So I enter my login and password again.

Is there a way to set a default value for ftp sites will automatically open in Windows Explorer, so I don't have to go through this all the time?

    Hello
    See:
    FTP and Internet Explorer
    http://blogs.msdn.com/Askie/archive/2009/04/16/FTP-and-Internet-Explorer-what-to-do-what-to-do.aspx
    or
Another solution: go to My Network Places > add network place. Follow it
Wizard to add the FTP site. The URL format
ftp://username: * e-mail address is removed from the privacy * should work.

If the system of sites is not on the desktop... Display properties > Desktop >
    Customize > check it out.

    Hope this helps,

  • When I type a site FTP address in the XP File Explorer it opens an IE8 browser

I use to be able to just type the address of the FTP site in the address bar of my browser files from 'My Computer' and he pop up would be a login name and password and then box when I filled those he would show the FTP site that is identical to a file on my computer system.  I could drag and drop files to and from the FTP site in exactly the same way I can from network drives and local drives.  Now, when I type the address and press enter it just opens a new window to IE8 and try to go to the site FTP in this way.  I have no knowinly modified settings and actually compared the options of the internet to another computer it still works on and the setting is the same.  It must be an option deeply in records somewhere.  Does anyone know how to change this back?

  • EA6400 Problem FTP USB Storage

When I do not restrict access to the files I can reach them by FTP

When I restrict access I can't reach them more

After usin my login, I got this screen

As seen: the Transcend is not visible.

Yes, I have the right to see and write about the USB storage.

    Anyone a suggestion?

Use username: admin and password: the router password (default admin). Do not use your Linksys WiFi Smart password.

Are you able to access the drive locally using the user Remi? The fact that you have checked the part of Transcend when you created the user Remi?

Try the suggestion of Chadster by creating a new user, and then clear the browser. Or you can try using a different computer.
