  • Generating a signal 10-bit via USB-6363

    Greetings,

I need to characterize a 10-bit DAC at work using Labview and NI USB-6363. I have very little experience using Labview and need of a direction for this task. We are only interested in the INL and DNL. What I have in mind is to show the binary signal 10 to the DAC. Output of the DAC will a digital multimeter which is related to the USB connection to Labview via IEEE-488.

I have all this configuration, I just get lost with the way to do this in Labview. Thank you!

    Hi joeyjojo,.

The USB-6363 use daqmx as mentioned Jason library. A good overview of the daqmx driver can be found here. Looks like you have the digital generation. Definitely check the examples that Jason sent you... especially one called write digital channel.

Use of the DAQmx write VI to set up the device to read a digital 2D U32 NChannel NSample. This will take in a table where each row corresponds to a new channel and 2D each column is a new sample. You can also view the daqmx help to get a better explanation of Scripture Daqmx. "To access help daqmx you, just go to help" using LabVIEW. In the Heirachey, to open VI and function reference' live action e/s and functions"DAQmx - live acquisition of data and functions" additional information and there will be a section in there about DAQmx write.

The best idea would probably be to start coding and let us know if you get some error. In addition, if you have never used LabVIEW, he could search in our DAQ and LabVIEW training. Keep us how we can help!

  • Zire 21 HotSync with vista 64-bit via infrared?

I found here many information on vista64 infrared sync for ZIRE 22 and 31. Does anyone know if this works also with ZIRE 21? It is a very simple model, but I just like it, and I really don't need a new and 'better' pocket pc or a smartphone. I was very happy to use my zire several years without any problems. Thanks for your replies.

Infrared is a standard of the IR on the z22 is the same whether on the Zire 21, so if it works on that it should work on the other.

  • LaserJet m1217 do not print through easyprint on windows server 2008 64-bit

We have a client that has the LaserJet M1217 that connects to our window 2008 Server SP2 64-bit via Remote Desktop.  EasyPrint recognizes the printer, but will not display even a test page.  We get a FAILURE message.  We have no more need to know how to print via easyprint, or whether there is a driver that can be installed remotely.

    Hi swmotif,

This model is only a printer based on the host only and there is no available PCL printer driver. You may not use either universal print driver. I would recommend that you connect the Ethernet printer, and then install the driver based on the host at the link below. If you still experience the problem, you can contact the seller for easyprint.

  • Version of Windows 64-bit Server and the remote your 2161DS-2 console switch

I have a Dell 2 your 2161DS remote console switch connected to the servers of 7 or 8.  Recently, I removed several servers and install 3 new devices; a Windows Server 2003 (32-bit) system; a system of Windows Unified Data Storage Server 2003 (64-bit); and an array of MD1000.  All of the equipment installed is Dell.

I now see the weird behavior keyboard on this switch. specifically, if I use the numeric keypad, no matter whether or not I have Num Lock, all I get is the characters non - Num Lock; and on the top row of the numeric characters, regardless of whether or not I have the caps lock on, all I get is the offbeat characters (for example, type '1' and I get '! All I can think is, not the switch does not support 64 bit systems?

  • Print for Laserjet 1020 hosted by XP 32 bits over the network to Windows 7 64 bit

I have a Laserjet 1020 USB, connected to a system running XP SP3. I need to print to it from a laptop running Windows 7 64-bit via my home network. Only driver Win 7 64 bit that I could find was for USB direct connect.

Follow these steps: on the machine Windows 7, download and run the Laserjet 1020 driver from here HP site.  When the installer comes to point of asking to connect through the USB port, and then click Cancel.

Now go to the folder, devices and printers, add printer, a local printer, create a port, port Local, next, \\xpcomputer\printername (with the names of appropriate to share the printer and the computer XP sharing), then choose the Laserjet 1020.

So I just did a clean install of windows 7 64 bit on my 32 bit via a USB bootable because it wouldn't let me install on the desktop. Installation worked without any errors, but the max screen resolution is 1280 x 800 instead of my original size 1920 x 1200 and for some reason that I didn't have internet when not well even the plug is connected.

    Hi Jerry,

    1. What is the brand and model of the computer/network/display adapter adapter?

    2. do you have an internet connection wired or wireless?

    3. do you have a code error message when you try to connect to the internet?

The problem may be caused by the driver of network adapter or router.

  • I have Windows 7 Ultimate 32 - bit (Home Premium update) and I want to re - install Windows but in 64-bit. Will I still have Ultimate

I have a Toshiba with Windows 7 Ultimate 32 - bit (Home Premium update) and I want to re - install Windows but in 64-bit. Will I still have Ultimate?

I'm going to re - install from 32 to 64-bit via the loader of windows recovery.
This computer has asked ma to install 32 or 64 bit when I first turned on, I chose 32, but now I want to 64.

It depends on. Is the license of Windows 7 Ultimate, a full version license or upgrade, or upgrade Express?

If its an Express upgrade license, you will need to reinstall Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, then make the Express Windows 7 upgrade Ultimate edition using the Express upgrade key, you have.

If you have a Windows 7 Ultimate full retail or upgrade version license, you can simply by using the 64-bit Windows 7 Ultimate disc and do a custom Setup on the current installation of 32-bit.

You will need to do a clean install, there is no place on the way to upgrade Windows 7 32 bit to 64 bit.

Using the disk of 64-bit Windows 7, install Windows 7 Windows Easy Transfer Utility from the DVD (to find it, simply navigate to x:\support\migwiz, "x:" is the name of your hard drive. (In this case, you will see a collection of files, the important"that you must search for and double-click is 'migsetup'.) run it and create a DAMP (Windows Easy Transfer file), if you have an external hard drive, you can access it later when you perform a clean install of Windows 7 64-bit disk so you can stored there.

Once you have done this, just do a clean install of Windows 7 64 bit disc. In Windows 7 64 bit disk, start Windows Easy Transfer, follow the wizard screen, tap on which is stored the WET file (external hard drive) and it will restore your personal files and settings. Reinstall the applications needed.

    http://www.notebooks.com/2009/10/07/using-Windows-easy-transfer-in-Windows-7/

Boot from the DVD 64 bit Windows 7
    Click Install now
    Accept the license agreement
When the option is displayed to select a type of installation, click (Custom advanced)

Select the disk partition where you want to install Windows 7 click Next.

You will receive the following warning:

The partition you have selected may contain files from a previous Installation of Windows. If so, these files and folders will be moved to a folder named Windows.old. You will be able to access the information in Windows.old, but you will be able to use your previous version of Windows.

(At all costs, do NOT click on anything in Format, deletion or Partition name.) So even do a custom installation, your personal files are still kept. Click OK

The installation program will now begin installation. During installation, your computer will be restarted several times.

Once the installation is complete, you can complete the Out of Box experience as the choice of your laptop, create a username, password, your time zone. You can then proceed to download the latest updates for Windows and reinstall your applications and drivers.

You can then retrieve your personal files from the Windows.old folder and reinstall all of your applications and drivers.

  • Win8 32-bit upgrade for win 8 64 bit

I bought Win 8 32 bit via download using the wizard.  It's the right version for my computer and I don't have the disc.  Now, a few months later, my PC has melted and I am building a new machine 64-bit from scratch.  I was able to save the hard drive.  How to convert or move to Win 8 64 bit?  Do I have to buy the whole OS again, buy the correct CD and do a clean install, pay and repeat the download?

  • Tecra R940 - 1 H does support external resolution 2560 x 1440

    Hello

    I use a laptop TECRA R940-1HP
I want to buy professional instructor Phillip 272P4QPJKEB/00, with a resolution of 2560 x 1440.
    Please write to me.

My laptop can support such a resolution?

Support of external resolution depends on the graphics card that is built into the laptop.

As I know the Tecra R940-1HP supports the chip Intel HD Graphics 4000.

To my knowledge, this chip Intel HD 4000 supports max resolution of 2560 x 1600/32 bit via Display Port.

I guess more details on Intel's own graphic chip found on the Intel page.

    Welcome them

  • Spectrum XT by clicking on disk! Drop the WiFi! After you send it for repair 4 times! Why me!

What should I do to get a laptop HP to work for my money?

Initially, I bought a desire that I sent to get repaired 3 times because of the problems are not fixed.

Was sent then a spectrum XT 5010nr as a replacement unit.

Worked like a charm, until what it has not started at a black screen.

After countless hours talking on the phone with abroad that support a no. IDEA how DO I USE WINDOWS and even less how to help me fix my laptop, I sent it for repair and it came back working again.

BUT NOW he has a hard drive that is constantly clicking and making noise even when I'm not doing anything on the laptop and a WiFi that keeps giving up the connection or making 'limited' while Macs on THE SAME NETWORK on the same network and Android devices HAVE THAT ISSUE.

Not wanting to not spend another 72 hours of my life, losing time with support 'concierge' of the India following a script no matter what you tell them and can "certainly help you with that" up until 3 hours later, they admit that they have no idea of what they are doing, I have researched and done everything I could changed every setting in Power Options, reinstalled Windows 8, and problems still persist.

I would try to sell the unit, but I feel hurt hurt someone with a laptop of shit.

Is HP, possible on this beautiful soft Earth I can get a perfectly portable work on you for the money I spent to buy it in the first place? I love the design of the spectrum but if he cannot hold a * beep * WiFi and if I live in constant fear of drive failure hard (because of the ominous clicking), it is not worth!

  • Help requested by Experts of HP only please.

I would like some advice on a lemon I've been stuck with.

17 SEP 2013, I bought a new dv7-7233nr desire. Right out of the box, I noticed a slight problem with the display. A task about 5 mm in diameter in the upper left quadrant was discolored or faded looking. I decided to just live with him at the time. A few weeks later the right hinge began to split in two and I could see the mechanical parts inside the hinge. As with my first question, I decided to just live with this question.

Everything was working great and I fully enjoyed my notebook and was very happy with it. Then the Windows 8.1 update is out and has been dutifully installed by your truly. It is then that all my troubles began. I started having problems where at random times, the laptop would spontaneously stop, restart or freeze just several minutes at a time. The way things worked, I thought that there was some sort of conflict of software to the origin of the problem. After trying for weeks to fix the problem, I decided to wipe the hard drive and replace everything by the restore disks that I had purchased from HP.

Well well just a few minutes into the routine of erasure of disk a kind of error message popped up saying that due to the alteration of the disc the program wipe could not go further. So I reboot the machine, only to get stuck to the dreaded "CAPS LOCK" flashing light that blinked continuously without any model. This time I had no choice but to involve technical support HP and I went online and after talking with a technician he was allowed to return to HP for repair.

This started an oddessey on December 16, 2013, that doesn't seem to end. I shipped my unit for repairs on 20 December 2013 where it was received on 24 December 2013. After the Christmas break the repairs have been made and the unit was sent to me on January 2, 2014. Among the items repaired or replaced were the HARD drive and the system board. Nothing has been mentioned about the faulty display and broken hinge and a large part of my chagring that neither item had been repaired.

To say that I was a little disappointed is an understatement. I contacted HP immediately and explained the situation to the technician who seemed sincerely simpathize with my situation while she began a faster repair process to correct two errors which had missed the previous repair center. She took me to a shift of 1 day instead of 2 days for only my qualified guarantee me shipping. I thought that this extra effort was very nice and I happily sent my laptop in for the second time on January 6, 2014. Now for the second time my laptop was repaired and sent back to me on January 13, 2014, two days ago only.

Well, my story gets sadder. This time the repair center managed to solve the problem of the video display by replacing the window Panel and before any view. It was great, I thought! Then when I opened the lid of the laptop, I could clearly see the same problem with the hinge right split open as he had been all along. I looked through all the paper work that was sent with the appliance as well as electronic documents that had been sent to me and it was not a simple thing mentioning the right hinge repair. He had not yet been considered. At this point I'm just upset.

I contacted HP for the third time on this problem and I was told that someone in authority would call me to discuss the possible options that might be available to me and to know what went wrong with the repair team and that they would work directly with me to make sure that everything has been done properly this time. Asked me my phone number and a time to convinent to call.

Well it didn't happen either. No one from HP called me to discuss all the 'options' as replacement under my States lemon laws. Nor can I talk first hand to a person in a position of 'authority' as I was told to wait. Instead two days later, on 15 January 2014 I discovered that this thing is treated as if it were the first time he was going to be sent in for repair. I was not extended the courtosey to have the speed of navigation, upgraded in the air the next day or any other indication that this would be done at a fast pace.

If you have followed my story all along, then maybe you can understand why at this point I am absolutely Livid with HP service and would really like the chance to talk to a real person such as the Manager or the Director of the service department there in Grapevine, Texas. I want really to use harsh language and do it to a very strong and vigorus volume just to make me feel a little better. But I'll settle for a civil conversation and get some sort of action as ensuring that this repair is the subject of a follow-up and hand carried over in the process of my someone in management and an attempt to ship the unit to me using the delivery the day even or at least the next day gaurunteed 08:00.

My question to you Experts HP here is you think that this could make it happen? If I can't return this laptop to me before the end of this week, as January 18, 2014, so I couldn't return at all. I can just use it with the hinge collapse as long as no other damage occurs. Maybe a little later in the year then I could make time to get the hinge repaired correctly. Do you think I would run in any warranty problem, if I decide to wait? I really want to cut my nose off just to spite my face.

If you could advise me on which I could call on this quandry, or just what you think would be better for me to do at this point, you really do me a huge favor, not to mention restoring my faith in HP s Comsumer products.

In any case thank you for reading my sad rant and I hope you have a great day.

    Best regards

  • SmartTouch 520-1020: 10 Windows corrupted and tried to reinstall windows 7

I have a SmartTouch 520-1020 which worked fine until I upgraded to Win10. No PC does not start correctly. I tried to reinstall Win 7 64-bit via the disk and the partition that has the operating system on it inadvertently allowed. I created a new Win10 recovery disk using the download of recovery, but wanted to know if there is a way to access and run the recovery partition which is always on the PC, even if the primary partition is disabled?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news - but more likely--DO NOT.

The update of Win10 has a bad history of corrupt recovery OEM as part of the upgrade information, and if that happens, without recovery OEM will work.

What will work restores your computer to its original factory state using HP recovery media.  It is a DVD and CD set that will erase the hard drive (removing all data, applications and settings, reinstall the original OS, drivers and utilities for HP. In some cases, you will be able to order a USB instead of discs.  You must order at HP; they cannot be downloaded.

You can look online for recovery from the paged media related: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers

Once there, enter your product name or number. On your software page and download the drivers, select your operating system and version. Click on "Update".  If the HP recovery support is available for your computer, down near the bottom of the page, you will see an entry for the command Recovery Media-CD/DVD/USB. Click on the symbol '+' to expand this entty and click on order to press for more details.

Or, if you prefer, you can do the same by contacting HP Customer Service:

If you live in the United States or the Canada, details are on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/phone-assist.html#section1

If you live elsewhere, contact details are on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html

Note that if HP no longer provides a recovery media for your model, a few other sites, you can check are: http://www.computersurgeons.com/ and http://www.restoredisks.com/

Don't forget to read through the material in the linked thread before attempting the recovery: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00707939

    Good luck
