3290 and specialized devices.

Our group has recently purchased a number of WES7-3290 workstations for the modernisation and automation of part of our environment mfg.   It is a lot of device work USB in Windows XP and Windows 7 drivers, they don't seem to work properly in WES7.  As drivers for this balance Sartorius Quintix balance and the virtual Com port driver from ST Electronics to attach equipment series. The drivers either fail to install correctly, or appear to install ok, then not work when t he peripheral is connected, to leave a "splat" error in Device Manager.

USB support is reduced to WES7 instead of Windows 7?

I tried from a case in support of the issue, but the 3290 s have no service number to enter the serial numbers are not recognized by Dell support to allow me to continue?

Any help is appreciated!

    I've just corrected a problem with the help of a member of fantastic, but now I have another!
    My speakers suddenly decide to not work! I checked the volume etc. and alll was fine, but when I went to control panel > sounds and audio devices, it says I have no audio device!

    It worked fine this morning and I have nothing done havn't who could have done this.
    These problems I encounter are just spontaneous, I don't know what is happening!

    Anyone know how I can fix it and if nobody suspects the virus activity? (I did a scan that says that I don't have)

    Have you checked the Device Manager? The sound card appears correctly in the Device Manager or yellow exclamation marks appear?

    Have you tried reinstalling the audio driver? If this isn't the case, please try it.

  • Server 2K 8 Remote Desktop no despite its "don't bring to the local computer" active, impossible to find sounds and Audio devices?

    I'm running Vista 64 to connect to a remote computer that has Windows Server 2008. When the remote desktop connection via, under the options for sound local computer that I "Make to this computer" activated. However I still get all the sounds, and the volume in the lower right corner icon has a red x on it. Under the heading reading devices, it says "no audio device is installed". In Device Manager, I don't see anything for sound and audio devices.

    I found an article that mentioned the sounds and Audio devices in Control Panel, however I have only 'His' option - which opens the same as right click on the volume with mute icon and choosing of reading devices. I don't see anything on the RDP Audio Driver settings.

    Thank you for your suggestions.  It turns out that my e-mail client, "Eudora", had somehow reset the default mode in the Windows sounds.  I forgot that there is a choice to "Be careful" in Eudora Tools.  After I changed it back, it worked perfectly.  Once again, thank you to answer me.
