4500 Wireless: 4500 Wireless does not print

Hi, I have an Officejet 4500 Wireless printer. I set up the wireless connection to the printer, downloaded the software on my Macbook Pro OP Lion 10.7.5. Tried to print but queue indicates "printer is not available. Tried the reset from the list of printer/scanner on my computer, but still no solution.

Before I tried this with my Mac as PC with which the printer not working anymore. Tried reseting printer list unplug the printer when turned on and many other recommendations of FAQ. I even tried to use a USB cable between the computer and the printer. Queue sometimes indicates that the printer was not available, and other times the loading bar % completed as if printing but nothing happened with the printer itself.

Printer does not print with the PC or laptop. Any suggestions? Thank you.

  • OfficeJet 6600: HP Officejet prints 6600 pages of test, but USB connected or wireless - does not print anything

    Hello
For some reason any my printer has ceased to be able to print anything at all, since last night at 7-8 so far, I've been able to print perfectly well.

It is connected wireless (and on the home network and the IP address), but whether or not it is wireless (USB) - nothing will be printed at all.

Have tried everything imaginable... uninstalled and reinstalled all HP 3 or 4 times now, various attempted fixes via the online help, nothing works. Have unplugged router printer 30 s, unplugged 30s, you name it.

It allows to print in-house, however, no problem. Print a test - perfectly fine page, print a network test page - perfectly well. Clear print heads... everything comes out clear.

Spotted an error prompt "spooler subsystem app not working not"... so found this page online (https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windows/en-US/460f297a-dd66-4476-a176-542e1519ca3e/fixed... and thought it was the miracle solution - nope, still doesn't.)

Followed the steps detailed here: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Inkjet-Printing/HP-6600-won-t-print-wirelessly/td-p/4649292 - the link to the HP Print & Scan Dominican Republic by the way, is a dead link now... but I have tracked down the appropriate page and run the software. After following it exactly as I had to... I get this result:

"There is a problem with your software which can not be repaired by this tool. Remove the software by clicking 'uninstall '. Reinstall the software with the product CD or by downloading the latest features full software from HP Customer Care. "- so in other words... I am told to do exactly what I've already done 3 or 4 times.

It's driving me crazy... and do not understand why it will not print.

I hope someone here can help... because it's completely maddening.

    Hello
By coincidence, my grandson has me bought a new computer earlier in the month. and it arrived yesterday afternoon, a Lenovo all-in-One ThinkCentre w/Windows 7 - and after it he installed there, the printer printed fine from the computer.

But, just in case it is needed, and because the advice was here, I thought I'd try the options.

Unfortunately, I can't do a level 3 uninstall with the two methods provided. Method never showed a "util" folder or 'utility', both had a "utils" folder, and no method showed a record of "ccc". Also, by downloading the software, then go into the temporary folder through the search from the Start Menu, 3 sets of disc records came - and such that mentioned, none had the util/utility folder (all "utils" still had once) - and yet, none of them had a folder 'ccc '.

My grandson theory was that something is likely messed up in the registry, and he doesn't dare touch it without knowing what it does - than a reformat or something registry editting and knowing exactly what they're doig - would be the best choice, but rather of your time and... almost useless with the new computer capable of printing. A friend IT very well educated friends, also backed up his theory...

So, I have to wonder... don't you think it's worth, the Dungeon of combat with the old Gateway/Vista PC, or simply move to the new Lenovo/Windows 7 and cause less stress for us all? Haha!

Thank you for trying to help but... it's too bad the computer unfortunately does not cooperate.

It turns out that I had a problem with ink cartridge. After replacing both cartridges (color & black) my printer HP is once more printing perfectly.

I'll be keeping the document you provided on the subject at a later date if necessary. It is a treasure house of well & precisely formulated procedures to follow.

It scans very well and sending scans to the computer, but when I try to print or copy, even if it goes through the process (the book covers and print heads move back and forth) nothing appears on paper.

The cartridges that came with the printer I record as being almost 100% and I ran print and scan doctor nothing is done.  The Test Page 'prints' white also.

Is there anything else I can try before you buy new cartridges?

  • 6500 Wireless does not print

Have a HP Officejet 6500 wireless.  Used without flaw for several years. About 3-4 months ago I lost the wireless capability. Have you used, but nothing has worked. If wired it and everything was fine. Last week there was an upgrade and it stopped printing altogether. I restart the computer and plug in the printer and I have a sound signal indicating he acknowledged the printer, but when I go to print it says it's offline. Suppose that I uninstall and re - install again, but someone can tell me what is happening? Windows 7, 32-bit Home Premium.

I went to the registration documents and he had the printer listed as offline. Clicking on that shut down. So I went in my printers and the default was a copy of my printer. Here, there were two printers listed under the same model number, one saying it was a copy. Changed to no - copy as default and delete the copy. And it works. Still no wireless, but what the Hey, huh.

  • OfficeJet 4500 g510g does not print

There has been no change to my computer, operating system, settings, etc. but my printer is printing suddenly is longer.  I was able to print the test page directly from hp.  I can copy and scan. I can 'see' the printer and all settings seem correct.  I can communicate with the ch and see the level of ink etc.  However, when I send pictures docs to print there is a mistake and nothing prints.  Troubleshooting found no errors.  I tried to use the USB and cables ethernet - no difference.  Any ideas?

Delete all those and then try to install again. If you install via the USB port, make sure you do not connect to the printer until the software asks you too. Let me know what happens.

  • My HP Officejet pro 8500 Wireless does not print.

I can copy and print from the printer or from scanning and printing but my HP computer will not send print data to the printer.  I tried to download the software to update drivers or diagnostic tools but the download cancels when it comes down to the end.

I was able to solve the problem with the help of a technician of HP.  I had to do a system recovery.  It works fine now.  Thanks for responding.

  • HP Officejet 4500 g510-m, it scans, but it does not print

    Hello

I have a HP Officejet 4500 g510-m, which seems to work fine. When I connect it to my laptop, which is a Sony VAIO with windows 7 64 bit, using a usb cable it scans normally but it does not print. There is no error push up, even in the print queue's list as his impression, just not as a document waiting or anything. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers, but nothing happened.  I used printing HP and doctor Scan of your site and it print an internal test page, but not one sent from the computer, so he said that this is not a hardware problem, but something is wrong with the software. On other computers, it works fine. Could you help me?

    Thank you

    Lena

    Hi Lena,.

Please try to use an alternative driver steps and let me know if this helps,

It should then allow any functionality such as printing, scanning and fax.

Open Control Panel, and then select devices and printers.

Right-click on the icon HP Officejet 4500 (be sure not to select the icon of the series Fax 4500), and then select printer properties.

If there is no such icon 4500, that it can be combined under any other icon, right-click on the computer icon and look then to the properties of the printer, if not do a right-click any listed printer and check if the icon of 4500 sub list the properties of the printer option.

Click the Advanced tab, and then click new driver. Follow the dialog box until the sweepers list appears, select HP, and then select the HP Deskjet 6940 printer (it is alphabetic sorted by different printers series)... If there is no such clcik pilot the Windows Update icon and allow it some time to update, and then search the list once again appear.

Follow the steps to complete the wizard and confirm a dialog window, then try to pritning with HP Deskjet 6940 replacement icon.

    You can see any difference?
