4620 printer cuts footnote

How can I stop my printer 4620 to cut the bottom of the page when you print something off my computer?

Hello

I suggest to try a hard reset first.

Hard Reset:

Take out the toner cartridges.

Unplug the power cord from the printer and the wall

Wait for 30 seconds

Plug the power cord into the printer and the wall (be sure that the printer is plugged into the wall and not a surge protector)

Replace the toners/cartridges in the printer

Let me know the results

OfficeJet 4620 - printer keeps going offline.  If I turn it on and turn it on, it's online for a while, but it disconnects again.  My IPad can't print on it. My Windows laptop, 10 shows as offline.  I can open his web page by entering the IP address in a browser and can ping it, but it also shows offline.  It is very annoying to have to reset the printer whenever I want to print to it wireless.  Is this to say that the wireless antenna is going wrong?  Should I buy a new printer?

I found what caused my problem when troubleshooting the installation of a new printer. I have 2 range Extenders. They had the same ssid as my router. One of the reports of tests of the new printer had a warning about it. I changed the range extenders in order to have all 3 different SSID. Now when the ipad & printer are that both connected using the ssid for the range extender in the room with the printer, there is no problem of ipad impression. My old printer is fine.

  • 4620 printer

    I'm starting with an e 4620 printer all-in-one. I installed OJ4620_1315 - 1.exe since the HP website on 2 PC.

First of all on your desktop running Windows 7 (32 bit). That works well. He installed a "HP Officejet 4629 series" shortcut that calls "C:\Program HP HP Officejet Officejet series.exe - start UDCdevice page 4620 4620 series\HP" - starting "HP printer Assistant". It gives me complete control over the printer facilities.

Then, on the laptop running Windows 7 64 bit. Who has a shortcut called the same who called the same thing, and then open the "device.setup.exe" which gives me 3 alternatives through a completely different screen - connect a new printer, reconfigure the wireles and add more software. The last request a CD supplied with the printer (but he didn't).

Can someone tell me why the difference and how do I get the wizard on the printer to the laptop?

I went through your 3 steps and it seems that everything is OK. He had problems with reloading the drivers concerned from Windows update, but we managed to pass only the 3rd time to try.

Interestingly, this time there was no doubt asked to see what was the operating system - 32 or 64 bit.

In any case we got there eventually - thanks for the help.

My canon printer cuts the first 2 or 3 digits on the left side of all the documents and he has right since... a little over a year ago.

Not much we can do here with a problem like yours. It is more akin to a physical type repair. It looks like your printer heads are out of alignment. What is the model number?

    really grateful for any advice.

    Concerning

OE uses IE settings.  Then configure things in IE (margins and others) and it should then apply to the when you print from OE.

  • Printer cuts the bottom line

My printer is HP Officejet Pro L7780 all-in-one.  My computer is running Vista.  Periodically, the printer cuts the last line of printing anywhere on the page.  It does when printing from Quickbooks and Word, and probably other programs, too.  Once he decided not to print the last line of an invoice in QB, no matter how many times you try, it will not print it.  But then it will print the next invoice to the customer very well.  How can I solve this problem?  Thanks for any advice, it's very frustrating.

  • HP Officejet 4620: Printer is in"error" and will not print, even though the computer says that it is "connected".

My printer recently started telling me it was in a State of 'error' and could not print my documents.  Sometimes I could turn off the printer market and all that was trying to print would then print, if documents or Quicken checks.  Now I can't print from the computer at all, or it will print checks from Quicken even if I turn the printer power off and power on.  The HP Web site indicates that it is connected.  It is the second computer from HP Officejet 4620 of the original that I bought.  The first has a problem that has been covered by the warranty, and this one doesn't seem to be much better.

    Hi @Janilynn,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

  • 4620 prints extra blank page except for her print header and footer on the blank page

4620 all-in-one, I am trying to print an email from the firefox browser, there is only a single page, but the printer prints 2 pages. The second page has only a header and footer on that printer. I only want a page and select 1 page, but still.

Hello and thank you for the HP forums. To resolve this problem, you must first restart your computer. Holder of restarting the computer, unplug the power cord at the back of the printer, while he is always under tension. Unplug the power cord from the power source and wait 30 seconds. Plug the power cord directly into a wall outlet (not in a surge protector) and connect the power cord to the back of the printer. Repeat the print job. If the problem persists, try using a different browser such as Google Chrome or Internet Explorer.

  • HP officejet Pro 8500 has: print image too large printer cuts the half page out

My Hp Officejet Pro 8500 has is way big text/image printing and cutting half of the page. How can I fix?

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the driver, I unplugged and re-plugged, I looked in the settings and do not see where I can change the print size. Any suggestions?

    Hi @lucky33,

Thank you for visiting the Forums from the HP Support! I see when you print on your HP Officejet Pro 8500 a text is very large, so it prints on several pages. You have tried without success, some troubleshooting steps.

You try to print a document or an element of a web page? What program or browser you use?

If you are using a Windows operating system, please try the following:

    1. open an Internet Explorer browser, go to the far right click on the gear icon

    2. Select Print Preview

    3. now along the top, you will see an option to change the size of the page, please make sure that it is set to adjust or 100%.

    4. now, try a test page, the text is expanded?

Now go ahead and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor:

  • HP Officejet 4620: Installation HP 4620 printer on Mac OS 10.10

Hello!   I have a HP Officejet 4620.  My printer is fine, but my computer has stopped recognizing my printer suddenly about 6 months ago.  I thought it was the USB connection, so I bought a new power cord USB printer-computer, but it does not solve the problem.  I tried to install the software on my computer to see if I could get a recognition without wire between my printer and the computer.  When I installed it, I got a warning window saying that the officejet does that by 'Mac OS 10.5 - 10, 7'.  I noticed that my computer is Mac OS 10.10 Yosemite.  Is this the reason that my computer is not recognizing my printer?

Thank you for helping me to recover my printer!

  • OE print cut 2 inches to the right on the first page

OE6 in XP.  When printing, the right to 2 inches from the first page is cut off.  Checked margin setting in IE, they are all set to 0.75.

    Hello

    1. have you made changes on the computer recently?

    2. How is like print preview?

3 is this problem limited to Microsoft Outlook Express?

    Method 1.
Check if you can print successfully in the boot. Maybe there is a third party application that is causing the conflict.
You need to perform a clean boot to find the program that is causing and then disable or remove.

Note: When you are finished troubleshooting, follow the steps as explained in the article to reset the computer to start as usual.

    Method 2.
Try the procedure described in the articles below and check.

  • Printer prints NOT footnotes after the new pilot inst.

After installing Windows 7, 64 bit, the driver for my old deskjet 5850 is no longer supported.

As recommended, I installed an alternative driver - dekjet 5600 - printer = works.

    BUT:

It does NOT print the bottpm of the page (portrait) or to the left of the page (landscape).

    (text of cut)

I did all the recommended fixes: set margins at least / set header / footer to a minimum.

    No change

The printer can print all sides evenly before the new driver.

The only way to get the entire page printed is as 'without borders' - which is in conflict with the settings etc. of paper.

I want to only print normal text fast.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you

    Hi KROS,.

I would like to start with the deskjet 9800.  It has more features compared to the 990c driver.   PLC3 driver will not favourable as the 990 c is an improved version of the PLC3.  If the drivers are not listed, run a windows update to gather all the drivers available through windows.  This can be done by using the windows update function (type windows update in the search box on the start menu) or click the windows update button in the dialog box that fills the other drivers.  You can also add the 5600 driver using this method or remove all the drivers and then reinstall driver 5600.  Please click here for the instructions step by step for it (after selecting the operating system, click + next to the driver).

Also to eliminate any hardware related questions please consider below questions:

1 was the only change in the transition to the new operating system environment?

    2. have you recently changed your cartridges?

    3. have you aligned the printer recently?

    4. don't you get the same result when printing in draft mode?

    I hope this helps!
