5525 printer all-in-one: HP printers are controlled on geographic, plan it true?

Hello everyone

I bought my HP5525 in Dubai, but have since moved to the Thailand.

They tell me that HP will control the market by installing a chip which does not allow my printer (bought in Dubai) to accept a new genuine HP cartridge purchased in Thailand.

The only solution is to buy a new printer. If it is the case that HP will never see another dollar from me, as my Age of HP hardware that I will look at other brands.

Before I thought my HP5525 from the window is anyone know if this is a fact?

Brother is now producing an injet with external inks and the black only prints 6 000 copies down the price of the copy for almost nothing and no problem for the citizens of the world.

MFP INKJET BROTHER DCP-T500W WITH FILL TANKS PRINT, SCAN, COPY, WIFI

Anyone who has been FORCED to buy another printer because of this problem?

Hello

No, you don't have to buy the new printer, you can ask HP in Thailand to give you a secret code mode OR how to reset and you can use inks in Thailand.

Kind regards.

I suggest that you keep HP Imaging Device function (it is your scanner), HP's OCR software (it's also for scanning), Deskjet, Officejet, PSC, and HP Photosmart All-in-one-softwware, HP, HP Product Detection and update HP Solution Center.

The rest of the software should not be required and you should be able to remove it safely.  If you have any questions about the specifics of the software please do not hesitate to ask.

  • Example: Pavilion dv6: printer all-in-one HP PSC 2110

I, m trying to install the printer all in one HP PSC 2110 on windows 7. Annyone has a compatible driver for this OS.

    Hi @eok001,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I noticed you're wondering if there is a driver available for your printer HP PSC 2110 running on Windows 7. I'm happy to take a look for you!

A complete printer driver of functionality for one or more versions of Windows is not available for your printer, or from the CD supplied with your printer from the HP website. To use your HP printer with a Windows computer, you must install the driver built-in. To do this, please take a look through this guide, installation of your printer using the built-in Windows driver. Otherwise, I suggest upgrading to a printer of software complete features and drivers available for Windows 7. Here, a list of printers that are compatible with Windows 7.

I hope this information helps and thank you for posting!

  • How one properly installed more than one printer all-in-one (different) on the same pcr?

Once installed 1 All in one printer, how one installs another printer all-in-one (different model) on the same computer without altering the first installation because all software are the same for each all-in-one printer, with the exception of different drivers linked to each different model all-in-one printer?

    Hello Boothkp,

From what I can understand in your post, you are looking for a solution install several all in printers on one system, without causing problems during the first installation. This can be easy.

Lets say you have 2 printer that both use the version 14 of the HP Solution Center software. Then, you install the first complete printer with all the software you want to use. The second installation, you just select the option 'Add printer' or 'Add features', this will add then the second printer in the current center solution without a conflict.

In case this does not work, then please give more information on the model and the operating system you are working on.

    Kind regards

  • printer all-in-one 2540deskjet

Dan, you are an employee of hp, right? OK, I bought a new printer all-in-one of 2540, where I find or how to find the printer email address so I can add it to my hp eprint app on my android phone?

    Hi phillip64,

Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I see you want to know where to find the address for your printer Deskjet 2540 ePrint.

The Deskjet 2540 printer does not support the HP ePrint feature so there's no email ePrint.  I've included the Specifications printer Deskjet 2540 for reference.

However, you should be able to add the printer to the application on your phone as long as the phone is connected to the printer is connected to the same wireless network.   Once the phone is connected to the same wireless network, you should have no problem using the mobile app from HP ePrint to print.  I've included the HP ePrint Mobile App FAQ document as additional reference.

I have a HP Officejet 5510 all-in-one. When I copy a document or fax a document. The pages are black with white lettering. Practically illegible. Having installed two new ink cartridges. Also when trying to align after the first sheet, the one that put you on the glass is not recognized for alignment.  Appreciate any suggestions to solve my problem

    Hi @Hazran,

Thanks for joining the Forums of HP Support for a solution to your printer problem.

I understand that you have a printer all-in-one HP Officejet 5510 which produces copies and faxes that are illegible with white lettering on a black background. I would like to help with that.

The fact that this occurs when the copy and fax indicates that it is a problem of printer hardware.

I would start by doing a Reset of the power on the printer.

Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance.

Indeed, if this help you to achieve a solution please click the 'accept as Solution' and the 'thumbs up' buttons down below in this message.

In addition, I have several 364XL cartridges left on the one I use on the he's-in Photosmart 6520 - one and would like to be used on the new printer if possible. Thank you

    Hi @Hootsmon,

If you want to say 'Thank you' to my effort to help, click on the "thumbs up" to give me a Kudos.

In general, I think after five years HP may terminate some older products to make room for new products. This does not mean that these older products are considered as obsolete. When a product reaches the mark of ten years from the date of introduction, that would be what they consider obsolete. This would mean that HP is unable to develop new drivers for the new technological advances.

That being said, your printer is not obsolete and I see drivers available for your printer on Windows 10. Click here for Photosmart HP 6520 e-all-in-one printer full feature software and drivers.

If you wish to discuss new products, please contact sales of HP.

I scanned the two elements of a brother MFC - 240 c printer all-in-one to computer. where can I find documents

    Hello MichelleOZ,

Items scanned by scanner are stored as Images (usually from the MPEG files) so I would look in the pictures folder. Otherwise if you remember what you call the files when you saved them you could also search for them via Windows Explorer.

    File photo:

    1. open Windows Explorer

    2. look in the folder list on the left side of the Windows Explorer window

    3. Locate the folder of photos

    Search:

    1. open Windows Explorer

    2. place your mouse cursor inside the Windows Explorer search box (upper right side of the Windows Explorer window), and then type the name of the file that you want to search

    3. Windows will now search for the file.

    4. once found, click on the file to open it.
