60 d Auto Lighting Optimizer

In the menu, trying to change Auto Lighting Optimizer.  When I select this item, I can't make any changes...  The screen displays a static (unchangeable) "Disable" selection (white letters on a blue bar) and underneath a single 'OFF' point enclosed in a red box.  The multicontroller has no effect trying to reveal other options/selections.

ALO and high priority of tone can be used together. Make sure so that you priority high tone are not enabled.

  • [Camera RAW] Is it possible to adapt the algorithm of auto lighting?

    I find auto to be a decent starting point to adjust exposure and generic lighting, but I find that the algorithm is incorrect:

    1. the algorithm always puts the white on the edge and generates black/white clipping. Auto should never allow that.

    2. the algorithm is more focused on the right exposure settings, rather than evening the entire image to make a curve smooth color.

    3. I think I wish I could say just the algorithm "Okay, its good and all, but I want each time for the algorithm to be a little less exposed.". I don't like the lighter images, unless I go to this effect. I love the deeper images, and I find that too much light makes the entire image... flat.

    Is it possible that I can change the 'Auto' button to choose a different algorithm, for example, less light or more light?

    Is it possible that I can change the order of precedence of the auto, focus on the configuration of other parameters before you adjust the exposure, or focus on the lighting curve smoothing, rather than put the lighting in the same area?

    I wish there was a way to point to something and say the program, "this point, this is where you need face lighting the most for auto.» If this area is bad, its automatic failure on the curve of the car. »

    No, it is hard-coded in. However, you can apply the car in a different way. You can shift/click on the individual settings to only set Auto for these adjustments you want to make.

  • 'auto collection optimizer stats' in em12cr3

    During installation of EM 12cR3 YES noted for "disable statistics gathering jobs" and indicated it would disable for me.

    After installation, I look at dba_auto_task and see that "automatic optimizer stats collection" is enabled.

    The installation Prerequisites overview of the Kit EM docs also say to disable this for installation and upgrade.

    What is not clear to me is: ' did for the installation/update?  should collection be enabled after the installation is complete? »

    Hi Sherrie,

    disables statistical optimizer auto should be only during installation and upgrade of 12 c cloud control

    Once its done you can activate the automatic collection of optimizer statistics at rest DB level

  • 5 d Mark III: what RAW canning of ALO, LENR, NR, etc.. ?

    Hello

    I could not find in the manual and would appreciate your help to clarify these points.

    (1) could you tell me among the latter that are applied to the RAW data captured or just present in the form of metadata (such as WB setting for example)?

    -Auto Lighting Optimizer

    -Peripheral lighting

    -Chromatic aberration

    -Noise reduction long exposure

    -High sensitivity ISO NR (Finally, that it is certainly NOT in RAW)

    -To emphasize the priority

    (2) when activated, these settings are applied to the JPEG displayed on the rear LCD while reviewing the photos?

    (3) when activated, these settings are applied to the JPEG are embedded in the RAW file?

    (4) am I wrong or distortion correction cannot be applied when processing RAW to JPEG in camera closed and not when capturing the image?

    Thanks a lot for your help.

    See you soon,.

    Yoms

    (1) none of them applied to RAW; so when you view your image in Lightroom or other third-party software, you do not see these effects. Except: Long exposure noise reduction IS applied to RAW.
    (2) YES, you can see on the LCD screen. The histogram will also use JPEG. So, it can shake your 'real' show when you view the image later in the 3rd party software. Most of the people have complained that the histogram is not correct and the picture is darker it shows.
    Yes 3).
    Correction of objective 4) is not applied to RAW.
    So if you capture RAW only, use software other than the DPP, I suggest that you turn off all the settings. Even if you use DPP, you can turn it on inside the software. You don't have to turn on the camera unless you take plan to use JPEG and RAW + JPEG format.

  • 5 D Mark III video problem - need help!

    Hello

    Been using my 5 d Mark III for video for about a month now. I noticed a problem occurring in the middle of some plans where the color seems to pass. The problem is so weak that it will take full screen, full HD and a high level of concentration to detect. In my opinion, the most obvious presence is 28 seconds where the valley below suddenly takes a different color. Here is a video of my question: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xw9IHYkUEqQ

    I performed these parameters:

    Manual focus

    Opening, ISO: Manually set

    Shutter speed: 1/50

    1920 x 1080 EVERYTHING I have 24 p

    Photo Style: faithful

    Custom white balance

    Auto Lighting Optimizer: OFF

    Highlight priority: OFF

    Speed High ISO NR: OFF

    I tried to see if they were detectable on the LCD on the camera, but to the naked eye, they are not. The original. Show them the MOV files that were transferred from the camera.

    Maybe that Chromatic Aberration or the peripheral illumination Correction? I did not disable these, and they are the only automatic settings I can think that would change Mid-shot.

    In my view, what ISO was set at 100 for these plans.

    Any ideas what could be causing this? Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

    Thank you

    Max

    I tested it on multiple devices, and it seems that there is a problem with my primary monitor. I will definitely test it next time I have a problem on multiple devices. Thanks for all the help!

  • Is there a way to disable the highlight D + tone priority put after the picture is taken?

    Hello

    I am using the multiple exposure settings to take a period of time of a tree using the overlay effect. Unfortunately, the first photo that I took of the series chose the HTR d +. When this field is selected, you can use the multiple exposure settings.

    Is there a way to turn the day D + the RAW file setting out in camera either on my computer?

    Thank you!

    "Is there a way to turn the D + the RAW file setting out in camera either on my computer?

    No, it isn't. HTP is just another word for underexposure.  It allows more space in the highlights at the expense of the increase in noise.  This is how a RAW file is filed and registered.

    Some Canon cameras have settings as well to highlight tone priority and Auto Lighting Optimizer.
    Auto Lighting Optimizer (ALO) analysis in contrast. It changes both shadows and highlights by adjusting the tone curve in high contrast conditions.  It is not reversible then either.

    There are only some certain things that can make a sensor of the camera.  Everything is a modification to them.  Remember that there is no free lunch.  You give to get.

  • Canon 550 d and colors of Photoshop CS5 does not not to

    Hello

    I am trying to load RAW photos taken with a Canon 550 d in Photoshop CS5. Photos are taken in sRGB color space. As you can see from the image below (with the same photo shows Digital Professional Canon Photo on the left and the Adobe's Camera Raw import dialog on the right), the colors do not match:

    http://www.Studio-Magazine.com/pics/various/canon_adobe/Canon_vs_Adobe.PNG

    It seems as if there is a different white balance, but I can't tell if it's the problem. Playing with the different color settings in Photoshop not led me to a match between the original image.

    I had this same problem with a Canon Powershot S60 and an earlier version of Photoshop (CS2?) in the past. Is there something that should be set on a Mac, when loading the cannon photos in Photoshop?

    Paolo

    Try the Standard camera and Adobe Standard profiles in the camera calibration tab in Camera RAW plugin for Photoshop, where the camera Standard profile is supposed to be the closer for the treatment of the device, but only approximately.

    Regarding your particular side-by-side, the blackpoint in the version of Adobe seems to be higher which makes all darker and increases the contrast, which naturally reinforces colors: white clothes in the foreground being bluer, the purple shirt in the background, so that the bricks you mention all are more saturated.  Try to move the closest low blackpoint zero the default 5, or even change the default toning curve of medium contrast to something less and see if that changes things.

    If you find you want less contrast or a lower blackpoint in your images, you can change the default values of Camera RAW to be something different.  Be careful in the default settings based on one or two images, however, because if you have Auto lighting optimization and/or highlight priority are your license and those get picked up in DPP then you will try to match a moving target that the camera performs its own optimizations before you create the JPG file.  If this is the case, then you might as well just by pressing the Auto toning button in Camera RAW and start tweaking from there.

  • Problem with auto after 10.11.4 brightness

    After the upgrade to 10.11.4, my macbook pro retina auto light sensor has problems.

    Have you tried the reset nvram and reset smc, still its not able to decrease or lighten the screen automatically.

    Any help with calibration would be great.

    If the problem is still there, try to start safe mode using your usual account.  Disconnect all devices except those necessary for the test. Shut down the computer and then put it up after a 10 second wait. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the SHIFT key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear. Startup is considerably slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a check for directory and disables all start-up and connection, among other things. When you restart normally, the initial restart may be slower than normal. If the system is operating normally, there may be 3rd party applications that pose a problem. Try to delete/disable the third-party applications after a reboot using the UN-Installer. For each disable/remove, you need to restart if you do them all at once.

  • Sat Pro L10: Disable the wake on lid sensor

    I have a Satellite Pro L10 and disable all power on/set off the power of the actions that occur when the lid is closed - that's very well under windows, and I have disabled things sur-cloture in the power supply of the control panel section. BUT in PARTICULAR, I want to disable the automatic turning on when the lid is opened (i.e. a Bios or other material toshiba parameter). Where can I do this?

    Hello

    I think that light will be activated if the device is in stand-by or hibernation mode. If you open the cover, the device starts automatically.

    If the device turns and you close the lid that nothing will happen if you defined any action. I think that just display will be switched off, but after opening the lid he display will be activated immediately.

    Auto lights up when option doesn t open cover exist.

    Good bye

  • Gigaframe L81 is OFF after 2-3 sec

    Hello!

    In my view, there is a bug in Gigaframe L81 sw... I put the automatic light (auto light) options, then the LCD is turned off. Whenever I turn it on the screen shows but turns off immediately. I got tired of resetting, but she has - at least, in the LCD - no effect.

    Device is reset, then lights up the screen, I see him starting, I can touch control "buttons" on the right side (I can see the blue lights), but after only 2-3 seconds, the LCD display turns off again.

    Although I can do anything on my camera - attach PC files, copy or dele (ordered from Windows) etc. I just don't see anything in the LCD screen.

    I have seen the same problem described in associated Pc Board, but without giving soliution.
    Please advice how to proceed - t - he a real bug and I would return device reseler or it somhow can be workaarounded?

    I just bought the fram and the intended use of the framework on a trip of vacation (movies for kids), but unfortunately, I can not...

    If it still does not work after resetting it, then it may be a hardware problem.

    I think that you will need for repair/replacement.

  • HP Pavilion dv6-6130tx extremely dark webcam capture

    I just bought a brand new HP Pavilion dv6-6130tx of Hong Kong four days ago and I was very happy with him. The quality of the webcam was decent until yesterday when I tried to use the webcam with pre-installed "cyberlink youcam". The capture was dark, even when I checked the ' auto lighting. I searched this forum and the site of HP driver and support for a solution, but there is no driver webcam I can use to re - install. I tried to update the driver for the webcam by 'Device Manager '. I even uninstalled "Cyberlink Youcam" and installed "HP Mediasmart webcam". Everything is dark and not even my face is recognizable, it only shows the intense light. I'm not sure that this is a failure of a software or a hardware failure, but I can't seem to find the root of the problem. I know I can get a replacement with my warranty, but I live in the Philippines and models like this one are difficult to replace. All the other features worked strangely, but I was disappointed by this problem. If you know a solution or advice, please let me know. Thank you.

    Fixed!  Open YouCam, click on the image quality button, then click on advanced, then at the top of this window, click the camera control.  Check Auto next to the exhibition.  Fact!

  • Deskjet does not print

    My printer is a Deskjet D1660 and my operating system is Windows Vista.

    I was printing my school schedule when it crowded for a reason. I got out the paper, but now my printer does not print anything. Everything is connected, ok, because my computer still has as an option of the printer and the printer, it is the auto lights up again.

    However, I get an error that says it is printing on a document and I also waiting for documents (from me trying to print my schedule from school many times before coming here to help)

    So, in summary, he says it's printing, but it is not printing.

    I got the machine to prepare without something like what's happening two years before.

    Thanks for the reply but I ended up fixing myself by reinstaling the printer.

  • Activate the camera with flash

    Hello

    I wonder how I can activate the flash for the camera in waterfalls? I don't want to use the camera only flash, like a flashlight. I have to open/close the camera, if? Where can I get access to them separately? I tried the sample application, but not what I'm looking for.

    My idea:

    Camera {
        id: camera
        onFlashMode {
          // code for enabling flash
        }
    }

    not exactly this way... FlashMode is a property of the camera settings, then they must be fixed to the camera.

    Camera {
        id: camera
        objectName: "camera"

        attachedObjects: [
        CameraSettings {
        id: settings
        }
        ]
    }

    You can then change the flashMode when clicking a button etc.

    camera.getSettings(settings);
    settings.flashMode = CameraFlashMode.Off; //On, Auto, Light etc...
    camera.applySettings(settings);
    console.log("flash mode is: " + settings.flashMode);
