Installed new color and b & w cartridges.
Focus shows only the color... No black.
Why black not print?
I cleaned the well under the black cartridge, using filters to coffee as absortments.
Sopped all dirt.
Who does the work.
The cartridge was new, but I wiped that, according to the indtructions, anyway.

I uninstalled all the drivers and software HP, restarted the computer, and then re-installed using the latest version of the software and I still get the error. I used this file to install - AiO_071_000_201_000_CDA_Default - Full_Network_AmericasEuro1_NB.exe.
I had the same problem. Mine is now fixed. I uninstalled HP 6310; uninstalled for Microsoft NET framework 1.1 security update (found in the downloads). reinstalled the HP software. Everything is scanning, opening and printing fine for me now.
(Unplug the printer from the computer and turn off the printer before you uninstall. Wait to connect the printer to the computer until the software is reinstalled.

Usually the text will be caused by low memory or the USB itself. Try to restart the printer by unplugging the power cord to the rear and supply (wall panel output or power). Print to try and it should work. You can even try to print a test page for the device to demonstrate the features of the printer, but the usual culprit is the cable. Try changing the USB cable and it should work.

Was printing fine, no problem, then had problem with printer HP 6310 showing as offline while he was online

Cannot install HP Office Jet 6310 printer all in one
I have windows 7 Home Premium and I am unable to reinstall my Office Jet after I factory restored my computer a virus. The ref system flags me to tell me that my system will not support this printer/scanner/fax. I need to Windows 98, Me, 2000 or XP.

HP 6310 all-in-One models on 2 Macintosh running OS X 10.5.8
The printer prints completely blank pages or half empty. Photocopier prints nothing but blank pages or page with a slight outline of ink. When you run a printed report, full color ink appears on the paper.
2 color ink cartridges have been installed in the last 3 months, 1 black in the last 3 months. No ink low messages are displayed, or the error messages for this question. Problem occurred for about 3 months.

I see that the HP Solution Center is saying, "No. HP device detected," on a Windows Vista-based computer. I'm happy to help with this problem!
I suggest the following:
- Uninstall the software. Uninstalling the printer software.
- Clean boot the computer. How to perform a boot in Windows.
- Disable all Antivirus programs. Disable Antivirus software.
- Disable all firewall programs. Turn Windows Firewall on or off.
- Create a new user account. Management of accounts of users and connections (Windows Vista).
- Reinstall using HP Officejet and Photosmart full feature software and drivers.

6310 printer cartridge problem
With the help of HP cartrudges
Started having light images
Replace the black print cartridge
Get message to replace the left cartridge
Equip the new color cartridge
Still got the message
Pulled both cartridges
clean the surfaces of the color cartridge and replaced
Black Cartrudge had holes on both sides of the contacts, imk all gone
Replace the black print cartridge
Still got message to replace the left cartridge
Message won't go away
Have no option other than replce printer?

Due to the ink that elapse in what is below the cartridges (twice), I gave up the battle and suspended for another printer, HP, another, a HPIJ 6600 AIO. A mMore cartridges to have problems with but well. Thanks again for the feedback. This a a GREAT source of help...

HO Officejet 6310 all-in-one: 6310 print only 1/2 of the first photo on 2 5x7s
I use HP photosmart Essential 3.5 on Win 7 pro 64 - bit Home to print photos, I am printing 2 5 x 7 photos by 8.5 x 11 pages, the printer load photo paper and sometimes sends an error "on paper", I hit ok and it prints but it prints 1/2 or less of the first photo and any 2nd photo the quality is great, just want to print the entire photos and no ink on half of the photos, any help would be great thanks.

Some noises can expect that the printer is being used more in addition to overtime.
