7640: 7640 mode like 'sleep'

Is there a way to eliminate the mode 'sleep' the printer?  I can't connect remotely through Google or other impression of cloud services unless the printer is turned on.  Even the HP all-in - One Remote app does not connect unless the printer is turned on.  My printer is not directly connected to a computer.  Also, when "standby mode", when someone tries to send a fax, the printer is slow to wake up and receive it.  Thank you.

Enter the System Menu and adjusting the 'system mode time out' at 0 minute worked. The printer has remained available and accessible online after 11 hours of rest.

Well, I activated the incoming and outgoing settings under sharing files and printers in the firewall. I've also set up a connection between the router and the printer security rule. Since then, I was able to ping the router and the router by its IP number regularly for more than 72 hours. I hope that this solves the problem and everyone helps the dilemma.

    Hi everyone out there!

No idea of the outside world? It might be a problem with the State of the power to the laptop:

"S1" to the level of the dumppo.exe utitilty and I am now using a Hubv (self powered) USB root 'active', but: zero. "."
All the ideas in the world?

    Thank you!

    Hello

Unfortunately I have no much experience with fax and I don't use AVM Fritz! X USB but I can you recommend to check the properties of the USB device and see if option called allow this device to wake the computer from the mode standby on the property power management dialog box in Device Manager is enabled.

  • CPU temp is-128C after the resumption of the mode S3 Sleep

    Hello

As says my title, my temp cpu bed-128 C after waking mode S3 sleep.

This affects my fan control, and while not particularly dangerous, it is annoying as my fans are set to 100% and do not return to their modes of thermal cruise.

However, when I restart my computer temperature readings are fine and the fans run in accordance with their respective temperature readings.

The really weird thing is that as I get S3, I look at the temperature of my cpu and it reads 40 c (same as idle temperature), but this only lasts for about a second how the temperature reading goes up to C - 128, while my fans are working up to 100%, such as fans and temperature readings are pegged to their "extreme" until I restart the computer.

I tried to close the temperature monitor and re run after S3 wake up without result. I also tried to launch a processor intensive task to see if that would record at least a change in temperature, also without success, the temperature reading remains pegged to c - 128.  Is it possible to correct the stray cpu temperature read during his awakening of S3, because it seems that the sleep mode S3 everything resets all leaving the cpu temperature sensors in limbo?

    Im running:

Win Xp pro SP3 and Speedfan 4.45 (temperature monitor)

    2 GB of ram

    T8300 CPU @ 2.4 Ghz

    Card mother MS-9803 w/FRIEND BIOS 2.2

    O.K.

After combing through the net re: the above question, I determined that the problem I see with the temperature monitor is only a superficial, but light always news, of a larger problem.

I contacted the mfr of cpu and my cpu temperature is within specifications, even after the release of the S3 despite what said Speedfan.

So the problem I have is not so much with the temperature of the cpu that the fact that my cpu is "spinning its wheels" after the exit of the S3 with cpu common use anywhere from 15 to 35% (via the Task Manager) with no visibly active application/process. .... IM thinking to start a new thread and the closure of it.

  • The HP Pavilion 17 Notebook PC: Output mode no 'sleep'

So, I'm having a problem that seems to have just started today, out of nowhere, where my laptop seems to not want to exit the mode 'sleep'.

So here's how the question is: If the laptop is forgotten, you know, idle for a while, the screen goes black. I'm used, that's just what I think, is sleep mode, never really learned the term appropriate for that, I just call it sleep. Can be standby. But anyway, it's the normal thing when the screen goes black after a short period of inactivity. Normally simply move the mouse or something will do the screen to come back and it's good.

But, just today, I'm having a problem where the screen is not. There's just black, and I've had it happen twice up to now (back to back); Once when I closed the laptop and once where I was left alone for a while. In both cases, when I got home to try and 'wake up', the power button light on it stops flashing and becomes solid (normal that when you wake up the computer), but the screen remains black.

Now both times I was able to get the display normal return but a hard, just reboot by pressing the power button. But of course, as it happened a second time, who offered no permanent change. And I checked "hybrid sleep" or something else, and it is turned off. So I don't know what's going on, or why he began so suddenly.

  • My batteries end of 2013 of MacBook Pro drain mode retina 'sleep'

    Hello!

I have a MacBook Pro late 2013 who recently (I think after the El Captain update that came before the last) began to seriously empty battery 'sleep'. (20% / day compared to the usual 1-2% / day.)

I went through a few logical steps:

    • I turned off all applications before entering the mode 'sleep'
    • check whether if it is completely off, should it still power loss? N °
    • I checked the settings to save energy, nothing prevents that my Macbook to sleep, NAP is off.

What I noticed: if I did not open my MacBook Pro for days, before he had another screen to start (I had to type my password twice, but now only once).

This has led to an assumption: because something prevents my MacBook to enter standby after a certain time?

I can't find anything in the settings that affect it.

    What could go wrong?

    Thank you

    Hello

As I understand your problem, your notebook screen remains black and not wake mode hibernation or standby.

Well, buddy, I think I have good news for you the OS reinstallation is not necessary (as I m wrong completely ;)).

I see you are using the old BIOS.
So to my knowledge the BIOS update should help you resolve this annoying problem.

  • Dimension 5150 puts random mode monitors 'sleep'

    Hello world

I have a Dimension 5150 2006-era tower that frequently but randomly will monitor to all this which is connected to in mode 'sleep', with the only difficulty being a reboot.  The computer is certainly still active as you can inside VNC.

I tried a whole bunch of bugs, including:

    -different monitor

    -different cables

-added a video card that uses DVI (exactly the same problem happens)

    -malware

    -update the video driver

-disabled power sleep in Windows Vista settings

-disabled standby settings in the BIOS to power

    -update the BIOS

-reinstalled XP Home, using the recovery disk

This problem sometimes, right after that the computer is started, sometimes hours later, sometimes it never happens until I turn the stop/restart computer.  He went a week or two without that being a problem, then after a reboot, that's going to start to happen again.

I am running out of ideas and guess this is a power supply or motherboard problem.  Someone has something else I could try?

I would try a new power supply.

I fixed a 5150 parent last year - of strange problems that proved to be due to a lack of power.

  • Keep Audio play in Dim mode (or sleep?)

I wrote a client HTTP Live Streaming, but the audio seems to cut out when a user manually reduced the brightness of the Playbook. I am currently using NativeApplication.nativeApplication.systemIdleMode = SystemIdleMode.KEEP_AWAKE; to keep the Playbook to sleep but I would find a more elegant approach.  Any way to keep the music stops when it is placed in Standby Mode?

You may want to focus on the QNXSystemPowerMode stuff, starting with the Knowledge Base article about this.

As a first crude test, try to put strangled in your blackberry file - tablet.xml, or use the equivalent code approach by setting

    QNXSystem.system.inactivePowerMode = QNXSystemPowerMode.THROTTLED;

    Hello Hiba_2,

I suggest that you update your BIOS, if the manufacturer has a newer version.
I would also update the video driver for the latest driver.

If your Windows 7 computer is preinstalled, so go the manufacturer of the computer and install the latest driver.

Let us know if this helps the hibernation issue.

  • Modes like DR?

    Hello

We intend to implement vCenter Server on 2 sites geographically separated in bound mode - mainly for DR. So, if a site fails, the other site should be able to access the VC as usual.

Is it possible to install? IE will VC in connected mode requires a server to be "Primary" and the other is "secondary"? Or are independent bodies and replication only between them, so that if one instance fails, the others will continue to work as usual?

Thanks a lot for your help

    Vicky

Related modes will not do DR for you. If you lose a vCenter, it will be alone and you will not have access to the other vCEnter ESX or VM servers.

To do this, you should take a look at solutions like MRS or any other associated with SAN replication.
