8630 ADF Duplex scanning

Does anyone know if HP has changed the firmware in the 8630 allow ADF double face legal size analysis as previous OfficeJet Pro printers have before the firmware 8600 improved last year.

Hello RichardHoodman,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

About the survey on the 8630 Officejet being able to scan duplex on legal paper, it is not available. I've just came back to install this impression on my Windows 7 laboratory and failed legal duplex scan. Using the HP software and the front, it made no difference.

Thanks to the HP software that I could use the scanner glass and document feeder to scan multiple page how ever, they are all saved in a filling as if this last duplex analyzed their.

Kind regards

    Hello

I am trying to determine if this printer can use the ADF to manually create a pdf from 2-sided documents.  I am aware that there is an ADF automatic 2-sided, but the scenario I think is as follows:

-Give him a stack of documents in the ADF and scan 1 side of them

    -Flip manually battery

    -Recan the second side

-The software combines all this in the correct order

I know he can do one sheet at a time, but I'm looking to do this in the batteries using the ADF.  I see conflicting information everywhere and prefer not to buy the printer only to return.  Can someone confirm if this scenario works?

    Thank you!

    Hi @santama1,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I noticed you're wondering if your HP printer Officejet 5740, can use the ADF to manually create a pdf from the 2-sided documents on Windows 8.1. I'm happy to answer that question for you!

This according to how to analyse of the guide, using full feature software scanning (Windows 8) HP, under the section step 3: Scan with HP software, then the section, scan an original of several page into one file. An article said:

Important: the Scan Preview feature must be enabled for scan multiple pages into one file documents. Additional pages from the original are added for the single file in the Scan preview window.

  • HP OfficeJet Pro X476dw: Duplex scanning

I just want to buy HP OfficeJet Pro X476dw, according to this manual printer, this printer is equipped with an option to print double-sided.
But my question is that it has dual scan or duplex scan option?

    Hello

Thank you for using the forum.

HP OfficeJet Pro X476dw is intended for users of the company.

OfficeJet Pro 8620 and settlement 8630 (comes with 2 bac) also have the option of scanning two-sided you need in the ADF. (NOT the good settlement 8610!)

Recommends that you consider the settlement 8620 or 8630 rather than the HP OfficeJet Pro X476dw, unless you buy for the use of the company.

    Hope that helps.

  • ADF duplex for LaserJet models?

    Hello

I'm looking for a laserjet model features automatic duplex ADF. So that the device can perform a copy double-sided on a stack of documents face / back loaded in the ADF. Thus, 2 faces-> option 2 sides for the copy and scan. I am grateful if anyone knows if HP have devices that can handle this.

HP Color LaserJet m477fdw MFP Pro has the ADF duplex function?

    Thank you
    Stig

    > I am looking for the laserjet has auto duplex ADF model.

Several models have automatic duplexing ADFs, but they are all in the higher end products.  If you provide us with a price range or a similar product, you are replaceing with we can compare the specs and suggest something in your budget.

    > Does HP LaserJet Pro m477fdw Color MFP has the ADF duplex feature?

Yes.  It does not mention the specs on the main sales site, but the datasheet for many models will confirm the duplex as a feature or not.

  • HP officejet pro 8600 duplex scan

How can I duplex scanner using the charger to top of the page?  Is there a driver or software, I need?  I bought this printer to use this feature.  As a teacher, I want to analyze all my books in my USB.

    Please help me!

To tell you the 8600 don't scan two-sided on the base model, only on the most and the Premium version of the printer. But in addition, I don't know what you're looking for is possible. Duplex scanning function is reserved for the simple leaves, double-sided media - not for books. With books, the only method for the analysis of these images is through the flat bed scanner because it can't shoot an entire book through the ADF.

I hope this solves your request!

  • ADF duplex on inkjet multifunction

    Hi people,

I need to buy an inkjet that has a double-sided ADF.  I wish we could get this feature on hp.com, or unless the descriptions agreed on specifications. Reading the forums, I see that the 8600 and so-called Premium do that.  Could you help me with:

    1. can you confirm the 8600?

2 would you be kind enough to list other models that would make the two-sided ADF?

    Thank you!

    Kind regards

    -Marco

    Hi Marco,.

I can confirm that the HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus (N911g) and Premium (N911n) models provide the duplex feature ADF copy and scan. You can find that it listed in the following specification:

    http://shopping.HP.com/en_US/Home-Office/-/products/printers/HP-OfficeJet-Pro/CM750A?HP-OfficeJet-Pro-8600-plus-e-all-in-one-printer-N911g&JumpID=oc_r1002_usen_c-001_r0001

Photosmart HP 7520 also provide ADF duplex for the copy, but not for scanning:

Goes same for Photosmart 6520 model as you can find below:

  • HP Officejet 8500 (A910): duplex scan

    HP Officejet 8500 (A910) / Windows7 32 bit

    Hello

    How can I scan double sided (duplex) - I can't find a way with 'HPScan.exe '.

    Thanks, Chris

    Hi Chris,

    What exact model?

HP Officejet Pro 8500 (A910A) a does not provide duplex ADF duplex capacity

Only the HP Officejet Pro 8500 has more or less Prime (A910g/n) is

  • Single line vertical when using the ADF to Scan or copy on HP Officejet Pro 8600

Printer HP Officejet Pro 8600 Premium (CN577A)

    OS: MS 7 64-bit

When you use the ADF for my printer HP CN577A Officejet Pro 8600 Premium, I get a single vertical line on the document which is produced. This occurs when copying or scanning, both black and white and in color. If I scan or copy using the glass, I do not get the vertical line.

I already tried troubleshooting.  I unplugged the printer, left without electricity for several minutes; that didn't fix the problem.  Then, I cleaned the rollers and glass; I always get the vertical line, but only when using the ADF.

My firmware version is up to date (CLP1CN1150CR).

    What should I check next?

The only difference between the ADF and scanning flat, from a point of view of the scanner is there on the glass, it happens.  I suggest you get a bright flashlight and examine the corresponsing area hence is the line, it's almost certainly a spot on the strip of thin glass which is being just in the right place.

I've seen some people suggest that put a flashlight almost parallel to the Strip, it shines from the bottom can highlight the area problem.

  • What are printers AIO a duplex scanning?

    Hello!

You don't know if it's the right place for this question, but unfortunately, looking for HP products somehow missed the filter to display AIOs compatible double-sided scanning.

I hope someone who knows the products can help me on this.

I'm looking for a printer with the following characteristics:

    Main requirements:

    • Print (ink favorite, but also want to look at the Laser options too. Black and white is fine, but I'd be happy to color if the price difference is not much.)
    • Duplex scanning (either hardware or software, but hardware is better)
    • Network (LAN. WiFi in option)

Other features are optional and can be done without. He served for 2 people to use at home, to be connected to the main router and shared between two computers in rooms separated (all on the same network). We need to scan documents, as the billing invoices and other documents. Us print not very much, with the exception of mainly text documents.

All recommendations are welcome! Thank you very much in advance for your time ~.

    Hi Wally_R,

Thanks for the reply! Thank you for taking the time to list.

I managed to get in touch with a seller of HP, and he mentioned the same products. However, apparently, none of the domestic models perform the function of double-sided scanning . This function is only available for office templates for HP. as a result, I have to look elsewhere.

Please consider this thread closed. Nice day!

Sorry, the 8500 a909a DOES NOT print DUPLEX. MORE than 8600 and the PREMIUM 8600 don't.

    Hi WM,.

The Officejet Mobile 100 is only a printer, it does not provide the functionality of any copy or scan.

On the side of F_e product, HP Offiejet Pro 8600 more or HP Officejet Pro 8600 Premium are only current models offering duplex printing, copying and scanning capabilities.

You can find the product below:

  • Duplex scan HP Scan with a 8600 Officejet more

The document on the 8600 Officejet more feeder supports duplex scanning (i.e. analysis on both sides of the originals). I had no trouble to make it work when I start a scan from the printer control panel - there is a very clear button to switch between sides 1 and 2-sided originals.

When I run the scan of my computer, however, the use of the scanner program included (HP Scan 3), I can't find any option to select two-sided scanning. I use the automatic document feeder, but I just get a side scanned. Is there a hidden option somewhere in HP Scan 3 I forgot?

I use a Mac, for what it's worth, under OS X 10.6.8 'Snow Leopard '.

These instructions did not help me, because the boxes of dialogue look completely different in the Mac version of the software, but they invite me to looking more carefully at the menus once more. I found that if you enable the scan Preferences dialog box, either by clicking on the icon in the lower left corner of the main screen or by selecting ' Scan HP | Preferences"in the menu, the option I want is here. In the middle of the screen, above a horizontal divider, there are five icons after the word "Orientation". The first two are really orientation, and the other three control unilateral versus double scanning.

So yes, I really was missing something pretty obvious.

  • HP m1536dnf: m1536dnf-HP will not use ADF when scanning

Recently, I have re-installed this printer to a new computer. It took a week to finally get the scan works works again, but now it won't use the ADF when scanning - but it can still scan using the background window. The charger works fine when copying, and it acknowledges the documents when it is in the charger.

Thanks for the reply. I solved the problem by downloading the windows marketplace of HP scanning app.

  • 8500 a duplex scanning and copying

I can't find how to do double sided scaning and copy with the 8500. It is possible at all?

I have the 8500 A909 all-in-one to work and it's pretty simple how to do duplex scanning and copying so I'm not sure if the feature is ' % s ' on the 8500 most recent a.

    Thanks for your help!

    Hello

You use A910a or A910g A910n? Open the cartridge on the left front access door to see the model number. If she says A910a or A910g then, those two doesn't support automatic duplex, scan or copy as the document feeder has no duplexer in them

If A910n, check the picture below. For the digitization of the s/w, you can find the setting «scan both sides (duplex)» For the copy, and then in the menu ==> settings copy printer, you can find the option "two sides - two-sided original copy.
