9000 series - __doPostBack questions

I am creating hyper dynamic links in an asp.net ListView in a web application I'm developing for use on Black Berry (and several other mobile devices).

I tried to use the controls of the asp: LinkButton, but they do not seem to answer in the Black Berry (using the simulator that is downloaded from the website of Black Berry - 9000 series).  I actually activate JavaScript, another script that I use for purposes of style does not seem to work.

My other option was just to handle the onclick event client for a span element, which I style to look like a hyperlink, then call the __doPostBack in the script to trigger the code on the server side.  Nothing seemed to happen when I did it, so I joined visual studio 2008 to debug.  He called the script, once he hit the __doPostBack call hung for a bit & then the Black Berry Simulator crashed.  I have a dump bug, if necessary.

I try to understand what I can do, we want to avoid transmitting the ID via the query string.

Thank you
Sean McGill

EDIT: Remove personal information

Most of the __doPostBack issues can be resolved with this:

    I tried several times to install the driver Qualcomm Atheros QCA 9000 Series Wireless LAN for Microsoft Windows 8.1 in my HP 2000 Notebook PC via HP Support Assistant.  It downloads fine and looks through the installation process, but returns a gray "x" and seems not to install this driver.  Have same problem with Cyberlink Media Suite 10-Office Update, also.

    @WalterPowers,

    Thanks for posting.

    It is possible that there is a problem with the wizard for help where, you may not be able to install the drivers using the program. I would like to troubleshoot the software itself by following the ideas of SuperMario1 in this thread: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Operating-Systems-Software-Recovery/HP-Support-Assistant-Window...

    Also, you can try to install the Qualcomm and Cyberlink yourself. If you go to HP.com, click on support and troubleshooting omn. Drivers and downloads, enter the model number of the laptop, in research. You will be brough to a page where you can select drivers for your product, after selecting a BONE.

  • Series Packet Question: How to calculate CRC

    Hi all, I have tryied to find an answer on how to calculate the CRC on a RS232 packet received, its really driving me crazy!

    im a beginner, learned how to use labview read on different forums, and I had managed to build really good applications, but im stuck in this, hope someone can help me...

    OK, so im constantly receive packets of 15 bytes:

    A5 09 0C 00 61 05 1F A0 10 00 05 00 04 05 3F

    A5 09 0C 00 61 05 10 00 05 0C 2F 03 A0 1F-3F

    A5 09 0C 00 61 05 10 09 05 09 04 09 A0 1F-3F

    the supplier for material gave me the following code to calculate the CRC:

    Control CRC program:

    #define unsigned char uchar
    UCHAR CRC_Bitwise8 (uchar * buf, uchar size)
    {
    UCHAR i, j, b;
    UCHAR crc = 0;
    for (j = 0; j<>
    {
    b = * buf ++;
    for (i = 0; i<>
    {
    If (((CRC^b) & 0x01)! = 0)
    CRC ^ = 0x18;
    CRC > = 1;
    b >> = 1 ;
    }
    }
    return crc;
    }

    so my question is, how can we insert this code in labview? any example?

    Thanks in advance, this forum has really helped me learn labview in a practical way.

    You can use my code for the thread that I've referenced.  To play with a web version of my code go here. My code is based on the code on this Web site.

    My code to the following parameters:

    Calculation of the CRC: Other (specify)

    Order of the CRC: 8

    Polynomial CRC: 0 x 30

    CRC initial value: 0

    CRC XOR final value: 0

    Reflect the preprocessing of data: TRUE

    Match the data before Final XOR: TRUE

    In your messages, the A5 09 0c is certainly a header.  I think that the 00 following is also part of the header, but without the manual, I can't confirm.  00 will not affect the calculation of the CRC, in order to get the same results with it and without it.  So, in your first example, I use 61 05 3F 1E A0 00 05 00 04 10 and the result is 0x05.

    Thank you guys and can't wait to you hear.

    Hello friends,

    I have a HP DV7 - 4287cl (Plug here) and you have a question about the eSATA/USB port.  I was unable to find the answers to these questions on my own so I hope that someone here could enlighten us on this issue.

    (a) what is the speed of the eSATA connection? (ie. 1.5, 3, 6 GB/s?)

    (b) I understand there is a difference between e-SATA and e-SATAP - is this port "electric"?

    (c) recommendations on you readers / anyone have used?

    Thank you, in advance.

  • Dell Inspiron 15 7000 series WiFi question

    I bought an Inspiron 15 7000 series a week ago. Early on, the wifi does not work properly. It takes too much time to connect and also automatically disconnects frequently. Sometimes it shows only limited connectivity. I've updated the drivers but no change so far. All other devices in the House do not work properly. Thanks in advance for your support.

    10 days ago, I bought an Inspiron 15 7000 series.  I had similar problems.  WiFi worked when you're sitting next to the router, but it refused to connect at all in low signal strength areas.  In moderate zones (next room or room just below) it works very well for a while but intermittently lose connectivity and although showing that connected would refuse to transfer anything - this necessary apparently the router rebooted to solve.  Since this morning I seem to have fixed things.  It is now usable in any home, linking where it has not before and no abandonment so far in areas of moderate signal strength.  The solution for me was to download the drivers from Intel.  Note that it worked when I first completely deleted existing drivers for wi - fi and bluetooth using Device Manager - I needed to check the box to delete the files, not only remove the drivers.  Then run the downloaded Update resulted in different drivers being installed.  In fact, these seem to be older than those previously installed - version number lower, earlier, fewer config options - which may be why the update did not return to this version until I completely deleted the drivers existing. It worked for me.  Certainly worth a try if you a not entirely remove the existing driver before the update files.  Note that if you do this, you must replenish your router password when you first connect to the wi - fi again.

  • Scanning for HP PhotoSmart 5514 all in a series of questions

    Hi there, I got this printer as a gift today and all checking to make sure everything worked alrlight, I came across a problem. On the side of wireless printing side and everything else seems to work fine, except for scanning.

    Here's what happens:

    1. the printer tells me that it cannot connect to my PC (even if it is connected wireless).

    2. my PC does not load the HP scanning program, and as he tried to pass the main Actions "Scanner" does absolutely nothing.

    3. scan of the computer is enabled on a permit, he said the printer is connected and I can see the computer in the list under the printer, but then it tells me that it cannot connect.

    Here is what I tried:

    1 restarted the computer to try to refresh the drivers.

    2. has tried to update the drivers.

    3. the program doctor help HP for the digitization of Ran, he simply told me that there is a driver problem and he could not remedy.

    4. uninstalled, rebooted, and then reinstalled the HP software that came with the printer.

    None of this has worked so far and I have a printer that print but not scan. I hooked up wireless for my computer, I was able to portentially USB plug it, but I was trying to avoid that if possible. I'm pretty positive, there is a problem with the driver on my computer, but don't know what else to try. Any ideas to get this to work?

    Managed to get this corrected my own actually. I ran the HP Scan Doctor again and realized that I could skip the pilot error and after that it ran on the rest of his Coachman he managed to solve the problem of scanner. Thanks for all the help on the forums.

  • Installation of Win95 or 98 in a 9000 series

    I would like to install Win95 in a Pavilion dv9341eu by placing it on a dedicated hard disk and then start it by changing just the hard drive. The only reason is to play old games like the earthquake without all the hassle of DosBox.

    I will not need computer accessories laptop to work, just the hard disk, the screen and the sound. Is this possible?

    The only way to actually install Windows 98 on your computer would be to install it on a virtual PC.

    Is it possible to install 5.0 OS for my 9000 "BOLD"?

    Yesterday, my friend got the 9700, onyx. and when I saw his BB, his BONES seem much better,

    and I thought it was 5.0.

    In my "BOLD" I have OS 4.6.

    Is it possible for me to update my OS from 4.6 to 5.0 on 9000 "BOLD"?

    Somehow I was able to download the software when I Googled it upward. But I'm still not sure these

    software are reliable/official/compatible to my 9000 "BOLD"... So here I ask a question...

    Thank you

    G, Hello and welcome to the Forums of Support BlackBerry.com.

    The latest version for the 9000 is 5.0.0.50 OS 9.

    Operating system device provided are "released" by specific carriers once that they are certified and trained to their support technicians, but still, you are able to load any carrier the same model by following the instructions below.

    Make a backup of your device first, using Desktop Manager > backup. Close the office at the end Manager.

    1. download the OS files to the PC then install on the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.
    2. go in c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
    3. plug in the BB and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.

  • 9000 SW

    Hi guys

    When I build a project with the SDK Javacard 2.1.1 there SW 9000 (OK)

    However, when I study the code of this API (you can download the source code for SUN to address [1]), there is no place showing 9000 Manager.

    In particular, when I study the APDU, method 'sendBytes.Length' class-> it is only 61xx sent to Terminal and there is no 9000 Envoy when the transmission is complete

    Can U tell me what part in the present code API showing the manipulation of 9000?

    -----------------------------------------------------

    https://CDs.Sun.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.Enfinity/WFS/CDs-CDS_Developer-site/en_US/-/USD/ViewProductDetail-start?ProductRef=7231-javacard_devkit-2.1.1-oth-JPR@CDs-CDS_Developer [1]

    You can watch another piece of code. SW_NO_ERROR is set to no treatment of an APDU and no exception occurs. As you know, how to set the SW in an applet to something other than 0 x 9000 is to throw an ISOException with the SW you need. Look at the code bellow.

        /**
         * Main entry point invoked by VM when card is reset.
         */
         static void main()
         {
             if (!initDone) cardInit(); // card initialization (first time only)
             cardReset(); // session initialization (each card reset)
             short sw = 0;

            // main loop
             while (true) {
                PrivAccess.resetSelectingAppletFlag();
                 theAPDU.complete(sw); // respond to previous APDU and get next
                 try {
                     processDispatcherAPDU(); // Dispatcher handles the SELECT APDU
                     // dispatch to the currently selected applet
                     if (PrivAccess.getSelectedAppID()==PrivAccess.APP_NULL) {
                       // if no applet selected
                       ISOException.throwIt(ISO7816.SW_APPLET_SELECT_FAILED);
                       }
                    PrivAccess.getSelectedApplet().process(theAPDU);
                      // abort transaction if applet forgot to commit it
                      if (JCSystem.getTransactionDepth() != 0) {
                         TransactionException.throwIt(TransactionException.IN_PROGRESS);
                         }
                      sw = ISO7816.SW_NO_ERROR;
                 } catch (ISOException ex) {
                     // get SW from ISOException reason
                     sw = ex.getReason();
                 } catch (Throwable e) {
                     // any other exception is unknown reason
                     sw = ISO7816.SW_UNKNOWN;
                 }

                  // abort transaction if still in progress
                  if (JCSystem.getTransactionDepth() != 0) {
                     JCSystem.abortTransaction();
                 }
                }
         }

    Once where a SW occupies about something else, that is if there is an error. I guess the send61xx method also checks if there is more data and sends a 61xx if necessary. You question was where is the 9000 series. Well that is :)

    See you soon,.

  • How can I configure an iPad to iOS and boot up without any question/entry level?

    Hello

    recently, my greatest pain is the process of upgrading a remote iPad (Yes, for old people like my parents). So if I have an iPad set up in a specific way and there is an update to iOS, it restarts and goes through a series of Questions and comments. I don't mind (it's a lie, I DON'T MIND). For literate people no gadget, it is frustrating and therefore for someone by train - remote to help regain access. The Question is: can we have a configuration that goes through an iOS update WITHOUT asking one thing? Maybe an oke pop-up asking 'agree' with setting level and all other Q later? No PIN code of installation ask if I hadn't any prior to installation? I mean, if you please, seriously? I have install i-device in a specific way and I LIKE IT like that. Include a button in the installer to accept all license agreements or agreements after an upgrade without asking. Unless I have clear. PLEASE? I guess anyone who support parents or grandparents remotely includes part of the simple upgrade...

    So, is there a way of "secret"? It will never be a?

    Kind regards

    Thanos

  • ZBook 17 G3: G3 Thundberbolt 3 dock of Zbook 17 questions

    Has anyone gotten the 200W 3 Thunderbolt Zbook dock and all managed to make it work?  I recently took delivery (a few months late) and cannot operate.  When I plug it (and I made sure each driver I have is also present on the HP site), I start running in a series of questions.

    • Device Manager indicates an unknown device which is shown with an id of vid_174c & pid_3074, which should be a hub 3074 ASMedia superspeed, but none that I try to get the drivers not installed works for this device.
    • All of the USB ports on the laptop stop responding
    • My connected monitors appear, but in Device Manager, I see two copies of the monitors connected through the dock, and each has an exclamation point that the device drivers are not installed.
    • My ethernet seems to work fine
    • Try to install any sort of updated drivers (found in various places on the web) results ASMedia a BSOD
    • The laptop will be bad shut down or restart with the cable in place.  Forcing a hard stop (power button for several seconds) sometimes results the laptop is able to start and other times it simply crashes to the POST screen.
    • Unplug the docking cable, while the laptop is booted up only shows nothing unplugged.  a reboot is required (usually a hard reboot) to get actually the mobile register that the dock is disconnected.
    • Similarly, sometimes after a restart, the laptop will not register when I plug the dock, unless I have successfully completed a cycle of full restart where the laptop is connected to windows without the dock, and then been rebooted (no hard restart) and connected in a second time.

    My current setup is a proc xeon 64 GB of RAM and the graphics card NVidia M4000M (running in only discreet mode via the BIOS settings).  The only ones I haven't installed drivers are Intel video drivers, because I have disabled hybrid graph.

    I'll add a link to the other thread, which has been more active lately, essentially dealing with the same issues.  In this way, we have at least a place to continue the discussion...

  • Tecra 9000: SD card reader does not work with XP

    I've made some progress on this issue, it seems that Cardbus devices cannot share IRQS, although the main problem is that FFDFB200-FFDFB3FF memory address is shared by the SD card controller and device memory SD card. Unless we find a way to edit the registry to resolve this conflict of memory, the simple answer is that the SD card reader does not work under XP.

    I think that it would take a major surgery of the register or re-writing of drivers to move the address of memory used by the SD card device, I always work on this for now.

    Can someone support Toshiba or Toshiba Marketing explain to me why my Tecra T9100 has a "Designed for Windows XP and Windows 2000" sticker on it, when Toshiba does fully support XP on the 9000 series?

    David

    [Edited by: admin]

    Hi David

    Unfortunately, I n t think that you will find here a Toshiba marketing person or other departments. It is ONLY a user to user forum.

    What you say, it is simply NOT true.

    The Tecra 9000 was delivered with 3 different OS.
    It was delivered with Windows XP Pro, W2k and Win98. You can order all the images of this Toshiba home Toshiba service partner. That's why Tecra 9000 does support Windows XP!
    Tecra 9100 has been bundled with Windows XP and Windows 2000 and also supports Windows XP!

    Of course, there are different models with a different hardware configuration, but all supports Windows XP.

    I put t know why you get this error message or why you cannot use the SD card, but I guess you don t use the image of Toshiba. That's why you installed your operating system isn't properly. Because you are a newbie you don t know the Toshiba all the driver installation must be done in the right order and all Microsoft QFEs must be installed also.

    As you can see you must pay attention to many important things if you want to manually install the operating system.

    Good day

    Hello, Sire

    Have you seen errors in Device Manager or any yellow exclamation?
    If so, the audio controller is faulty or the driver is not installed.
    Have you installed the audio driver? This driver, you will find on the Toshiba site.
