  I'm reviewing a BOM for a customer, and the current proposal has:

  CUCM 9
  Lane Express Core
  Side of the highway
  TMS
  vTelepresence Server

  Finally, I have checked, we needed VCS control to allow some TMS plan the server TP. With the current software (CUCM 9.x, TMS 14.4, etc.) can I use TMS to annex CUCM registered endpoints and TP Server, if the server TP is to shared resources directly to CUCM? There is no conductor in this deployment. Looking for a validation test.

  Hi Rob,

  Since version 14.4, TMS supports the planning of bridges that are shared resources to the CUCM, so limiting earlier 'all bridges must be deployed on the side of VCS' is no longer valid.

  However: TMS can plan only telepresence servers who are in managed mode locally. Telepresence virtual servers don't support not mode managed locally, so if you want distributes them TMS, you will need to put a conductor in the mixture.

• A button to push causes endpoint to call twice the MCU

  Hi, I have a problem with the TMS conferences that use the type of button to push a connection. When the ends are the meeting quickly reach, I select join and end points, then dial conference number twice at the same time. This starts a video call and an audio call at the same time, causing an echo. If you hang up the audio call the Conference continues normally.

  Can someone shed light on how the meeting gets setup of TMS or advise what opens a session for further investigation.

  I have v8.6.2 CUCM, VCS - c v7.2.2, TMS v14.3.2 and MCU 5320 v4.4. All the end points are saved to CUCM. Manual and automatic calls all work well.

  Above problem is a known, documented bug in CSCul80930.

  This has been resolved in version 7.1 of TC. You can go to TC 7.1.1 version on your codec.

  A customer has a lot of 9971 series and other video capable ip saved in CUCM phones which are obviously not the criteria of TC.

  How can I go to add to TMS? Are they added only as unmanaged endpoints?

  Is it possible that I can force the TMS or the conductor also to call them so that they can join a conference?

  We have some use VIP users who want to call rather than compose themselves at the Conference and they have no endpoint of TC.

  You probably don't have to add CUCM in TMS, unless you want to add any endpoints mentioned some of my first answer in TMS, although it wouldn't hurt to add it anyway.

  You can add IP phones as unmanaged endpoint points, although this will consume a TMS system for each license added.  If you have plenty of endpoints that you want to add and you do not have enough licenses, you can use a directory phone, as mentioned earlier, see the "Manage Sources of phonebook" on pg 187 for more details.  You can schedule video conferences using two methods, but Smart Scheduler is unable to add participating telephone directories, so the TMS advanced scheduler should be used if you add participants from telephone directories.

  What you do above in the TMS for the planning of endpoints has no impact on its PMF, you can add endpoints you want logged in as a favorite yourself in your TMS user portal.

  I was asked to press the WPS button on my router to connect my wireless printer. The printer installation has been completed successfully, but now when I go on my phone or laptop, my network name disappeared. Initially I thooght maybe just the name had been changed and tried among other networks that have been detected but my password does not work on any. How can I get my network to be recognized by my devices again? Internet on my PC works well because it has a direct connection to a modem.

  See if it happens when you press the button again without wire on the side.

  Hey guys,.

  im working on a robotics project where I use the front buttons to control servos and motors. The design model is a producer consumer with a queue from the front of the loop of material events.

  I have the basic functionality works fine, but the way that I now manage the button and continuously incrimenting the servo is closing the loop of the material in a while loop test button in front before to exit the while loop extra. I now need to start testing the Wheel encoders and update of a second servo to address the first position servos at regular intervals, the treatment so that it goes into a loop of data so work up to this he queue a command of material for actually incriment the second servo. my current problem is that I can not put a second servo updated while the material loop is locked on the first servo.

  is there a way I can define the structure of the event to always place the event in the queue that I hold the button so the interruption during the second servo prepares orders for the second servo get intertwined with the first servo updated. (Hopefully, it makes sense)

  is there a better way to do this? I was playing with an idea to use an update all orders for the servos and always push the current value of the position of the post to each servo connected everytime I update any servo. What a better way to go about this?

  If you want the interlaced with Servo1 Servo2 commands, then the first step is to get rid of this while loop.  A machine of the State in queue (what you have here) should avoid States that go for a long time.  Instead, change the "servo1 update" to a State that is also added to the queue.  It can then be added to the queue to occur again and again.  Measures that must interrupt that can be queued on the front of the queue.

  Finally, to stop the update servo1 (a replacement of your current state of the 'end of loop') will be a user event that enqueues forward a 'stop' update (so he interrupts) State and have it empty the queue... Add a State of rest after the flush, if you have an idle state in your machine state.

  The goal here is not to make "A while now the key", but to "start a press of button on and perform A until the value of the button is false."

  Options keys will be installed, because they determine what are the characteristics of the endpoint is capable of. They will be also managed endpoint and not CUCM, everything like they are when endpoint is configured either standalone or using VCS.

  From Jabber comments 10.0, only #3 above is supported. However, we will publish JG 10.5 soon (I hope that in the next few months), and it will support all 3 of your above use cases. The only downside is to use #1 and #2 cases, you have a CUCM in the call flow.

  Many laptops have a button switch or a slide that will turn off the wireless card.  Since you give enough information on exactly what model Toshiba you have, we can not advise you where to look.  Many laptops will have a function to toggle the radio ket.  Find a key with a blue icon wireless.  It will look like a small tower with radio waves that surrounds the upper part.

• CUCM 8.6 Multipoint calls to endpoints of TP

  Hi all

  We have a series of profile sets and EX90 endpoints that must be configured in Call Manager 8.6. I know that it can be added as a device directly from CUCM 8.6 from. If I do a Multipoint call between by profile65 and EX90, how is that possible?

  We also have a 9971 phones.

  Can I use a microcontroller and use it as HW conference bridge in CUCM? Can someone share a document on it?

  just tested in the laboratory... works correctly with CUCM registered endpoints... I have run tests with the following features

  CUCM 8.6.2

  4501 MCU sw ver 4.2 (2.30)

  IP-phones used 7985, ip communicator, 9971...

  so this should work for 4505 so... attaching some shots of config...

  

  

  Once you are in a conference call THAT CUCM sends the commands API over http to create the ad hoc Conference.

  I suggest that you have a good look through the VCS of Cisco and the deployment of CUCM Guide and verify that your configuration is at least similar to that proposed to allow calls between VCS and CUCM registered endpoints.  Looks like a lot that you are missing a search rule.

  If the above has not resolved your problem, I suggest you move your discussion in the section Unified Communications Applications forums at the section of telepresence , where are discussed more actively to these types of devices.

  We have 10.5 CUCM, control VCS, MCU, ISDN GW TMS Infrastructure deployed in one of our customer place. Now the client asking the Internet settings to be able to join CUCM registered endpoints. But we got the highway licenses and so we installed aboard the VMinstance Highway and installed licenses, now my query is this set works? Otherwise, we can transfer those licenses to expressway VCS?

  In brief - customer is working to achieve both Business - to - Business (B2B). Yes, that can be reached. Note: You will need to have the right set of licenses.

  Note: you mentioned VCS control and the edge of the highway. So, what are the components you have in the network? Control of VCS and VCS Expressway or VCS Expressway-Core and VCS Expressway-edge?
