Keys options in telepresence to cucm provisioning endpoints

To your comment, please

I wonder if when plug you directly a point of termination in CUCM configuration mode, what happens with the installed option keys?, such as the double video option or the multisite functionality?  ... or all licenses are managed through the tool of CUCM licenses?

Thank you.

Options keys will be installed, because they determine what are the characteristics of the endpoint is capable of. They will be also managed endpoint and not CUCM, everything like they are when endpoint is configured either standalone or using VCS.

You can install the TMSPE, Smart Scheduler and CMR functions are included for free, no license is required.  The licenses are only required if you plan provisioning VCS registered endpoints.

  • A button to push on CUCM registered endpoints

    Hi all!

I tried to implement a buton to push with CUCM registered endpoints. As far as I understand it, the system must be added to the MSDS directly and not only as the room, therefore RSI can push messages to the endpoint. If I add endpoint to TMS I get error, that endpoint has put the wrong type of provisioning. Accordingly, I am not able to change the settings of reservation, as allow remote booking for MS Exchange integration.

BBFRR may be available for endpoints registered or is - CUCM this only available for registered endpoints VCS?

  • "Recovery to replace key" option is no longer available on the Web site

So I decided to turn on notification of two factors for my Apple devices. From my iPad 2 is always on iOS6 (for reasons of productivity), he asks me a key to recovery. Instructions on the Apple site send me appleID page, where I can probably replace my lost key. The cool thing is that the option is no longer on the page! • Integration of Lync with VCS - key Option mandatory?

We implement integration with VCS on x7.2 lync.  Using B2BUA with lync 2010.  Everything works internally with lync configuration, we are only having trouble with lync external participants come and we border routers in the mix.  Direct pools are set up under the name of trust.  We have turned on the highway of the tower.  The calls started from inward of Lync.  VCS sees calls says it is connected, but the appeal does not and then falls normal call clearing.

My thought for the failure, is that the OCS Collaboration option key has not been added.  But I can't tell in the deployment guide, if this key is necessary only if the encryption is in progress.

The other area that we now have on the border routers is if The Edge server and the firewall that the Edge transport server may move multimedia traffic through can then reconfigure to allow RTP over UDP and RTP over TCP to pass.

Can you confirm if the key of the SCO is a requirement for Lync which crosses the highway?  And are there other areas which we recommend why calls set entirely outdoors.

    Hi Kim,

the SCO cooperation improved option key is necessary for this scenario of appeal, stated at pages 13 and 53 in the Lync to X7.2 deployment guide:

Calls on a Microsoft Edge server require the VCS have installed improved OCS Collaboration option key because this key allows the ICE to be used for media connectivity

You are also right that you will need to allow RTP UDP traffic to and from your Edge transport server, as the TURN server on VCS Highway currently does not support the RTP over TCP. If this isn't the case, ice connectivity check between the B2BUA and the Lync client and server Edge fails, which in turn causes to disconnect.

    Hope this helps,

  • Video of Jabber Cisco Telepresence band bandwidth provisioning

    Hello

We have deployed video jabber cisco for telepresence 4.5 with VCS 7.2 and TMS 13.2.2.  We use jabber to take interviews. The candidates will be sent the link to download the jabber with the required authentication settings. The Jabber is configured with the Public Max and minimum bandwidth of 768 Kbps.

My question is related to the downspeed of bandwidth. If we configure the bandwidth of 768 Kbps prvosining and internet bandwidth of candidates is less than 768 Kbps will be the Downspeed VCS to accroding appeal to the bandwidth of the network of candidates.

for example if my internet connection from home is just 512 Kbps and the use of the jabber to make a call to ex90 in my office. Bandwidth settings is preconfigured in the jabber as 768 Kbps. When the call is established will be VCS downspeed the call at 512 Kbps.

    Krishna.

You cannot configure a minimum bandwidth, which is always the maximum bandwidth jabbervideo will use.

The user can only set this value downward but not upward, but as the client detects a loss and stores a database

with information on used networks recently and its quality.

So, should not be a big problem the faster speeds available and allow the customer to do magic.

I woud recommend to (re) read the Jabber_Video_Administrator_Guide

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/Telepresence/endpoint/MOVI/admin_guide/Jabber_Video_Administrator_Guide_4-5.PDF

This gives you more information concerning automatic bandwidth adaptation and capabilies of bandwidth detection.

  • TMS and registered CUCM phones (endpoint No. TC points)

    Hello

A customer has a lot of 9971 series and other video capable ip saved in CUCM phones which are obviously not the criteria of TC.

How can I go to add to TMS? Are they added only as unmanaged endpoints?

Is it possible that I can force the TMS or the conductor also to call them so that they can join a conference?

We have some use VIP users who want to call rather than compose themselves at the Conference and they have no endpoint of TC.

Thanks in advance for the help!

You probably don't have to add CUCM in TMS, unless you want to add any endpoints mentioned some of my first answer in TMS, although it wouldn't hurt to add it anyway.

You can add IP phones as unmanaged endpoint points, although this will consume a TMS system for each license added.  If you have plenty of endpoints that you want to add and you do not have enough licenses, you can use a directory phone, as mentioned earlier, see the "Manage Sources of phonebook" on pg 187 for more details.  You can schedule video conferences using two methods, but Smart Scheduler is unable to add participating telephone directories, so the TMS advanced scheduler should be used if you add participants from telephone directories.

What you do above in the TMS for the planning of endpoints has no impact on its PMF, you can add endpoints you want logged in as a favorite yourself in your TMS user portal.

  • How to disable function keys (option of BIOS does not)

Hi, I bought a new HP Pavilion g6, where the keys F1-12 adjust the brightness, volume, etc. and I really feel like they have their original functions without having to press SHIFT + key or Fn + key. I already tried this: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02035108

And the system ignores just me; I turn it off, save the changes, and nothing. Keys keep the volume control, etc., and I need to press SHIFT + controlled access to their other duties. I can't believe I'm the only one with this problem. What can I do?

  • Cisco Telepresence ISDN link with endpoint SX20

    Hello

I have two SX20 and an ISDN connection.

Knowing as ISDN link manage calls for an endpoint, how can route calls to Internet of endpoint connected to the ISDN link box?

Is their any possibility to separate between ISDN and IP calls?

    Thanks and greetings

    Driss

The ISDN link can be connected to both the ISDN services and your local network to make calls over IP or ISDN.  See the example of the C40 "Combining of ISDN and IP" in the link ISDN data sheet and the section on outbound calls in the Setup Guide.  These are also detailed in the Administrator's Guide.

  • TMS conference control center

    Hello community,

We have TMS version 14.6. My question is why we cannot see the screenshot of the endpoint on the control of TMS conference center?

The endpoint is SX80 TC7.2.3. We do not have the key Option Remote monitoring installed on the endpoint. Is this the reason why we cannot see the snapshot? Do we need to buy the key to activate it?

I expect this on our TMS:

According to the names of devices hosting the conferences, I guess that for the image where no snapshots are seen is a driver (cisco-cndtr), and the other is a MCU (MCU - SD) product?

If this is the case, snapshots are not supported with the conductor, see CSCuj02741.  When you use the driver, only a subset of the features of CCC are supported, see the section "Follow-up Conferences" of the CMR premises Solution Guide release 7.0 on pg 28.

  • Key the Option for monitoring REMOT sx20

SX20 shows "snapshot requires a key option for remote monitoring. but I have not received any key option with the option key of remote monitoring feature of Cisco. another link said remote monitoring option will require additional cost of 1 January 2016. Now my question is how to activate it and if it takes the cost what is the part number for key option for remote monitoring...

The obligation to have a key Option Remote Monitoring installed to see snapshots of the cameras and the content on the page of the Web Interface call control was introduced in the version of the TC7.3.3 software.  If you are running a version of software before that, then you will be able to see the snapshots without such a key installed.

To get the key of the remote control, you should buy Cisco, is around US $100 price per endpoint.

The license you wish to lie beneath the level superior SKU L-TP-RM.  Then choose L-C-SERIES-RM, L-MX-SERIES-RM, L-SX-SERIES-RM, L-EX-SERIES-RM or L-TEACHER-SERIES-RM below, according to what end point of model you need to.

There are a number of people in the forums who see it as nothing else that a money grab from Cisco as they now charge for a feature that should be free.

This has been discussed several times in these forums before - some links to sample on this feature, the necessary licenses, and problems with the features are:

  • Options in MX700 keys

    Dear community,

I have a guy on the options available for cisco MX700 keys... We bought a MX700 codec, but the second screen do not work... ! When I go through the option keys intalled, it showed resolution Premium and natural presenter only... Is mi... We need buy a dual display option key to use the second sreen?

On the other side, this end point have two cameras but only work correctly. The diagnosis shows that the camera is not detected...  Need a few other key option for camera?

    Thanks for your comments.

    What about the King

You don't need to buy the license option dual display for MX700 because it is integrated into the device aboard the codec. Normally it will not show on installed options because it is a standard feature for MX700 and MX800.

What do you mean by ' the second monitor do not work? Do you mean no output (wallpaper) screen during the day before? No power? During the active call what you see on the second monitor?

What are the steps and procedures you already carried out to solve the problem?

The problem may come from the cable connections on the the second screen (right monitor). Check if the cables are correctly connected according to the installation guide. Refer to step 14 "connect the cables on monitor right and injector PoE" in the title of page 18.

    http://www.Cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/TD/docs/Telepresence/endpoint/MX-series/installation_guide/MX700-DualCam-Floorstand-installation-sheet.PDF

Also for the camera, no need to option no additional keys for you will activate the second camera. Possibilities would be bad wiring and loose cable connections. Make sure that the cables are connected properly on ports that are appropriate in accordance with the installation guide. Refer to step 16 "cables to Connect camera' to the title on page 21.

Also, reset the cable connections (unplug and reconnect) on the codec and likely to be untied and disconnected during transportation and installation of the unit. Restart the codec.
