A GeoRaster tablespace transported fall

I have a tablespace that has successfully created in an another Oracle instantiated (the factory), exported as a transportable and imported tablespace in my instance of database warehouse. I have now created an updated version of this tablespace and trying to drop the tablespace in the warehouse so that I can replace it.

There is no index persistent, constraints or other outside references tablespace (I removed those) but I have yet to drop the tablespace because triggers DML GeoRaster (which cannot be removed according to ORA-13391). I have no problem dropping the tablespace in the case of the factory, but once I ran SDO_GEOR.validateGeoraster in the warehouse, I'll have these problems with DML triggers. I can see SDO_GEOR_UTL.createDMLTrigger but no corresponding .dropDMLTrigger.

Now I'll have to delete all tables of GeoRaster layer first and then I can drop the tablespace but it takes a while when I want to just do is to drop the tablespace including contents.

Is there a way to safely deposit the DMLTriggers? Or can you give some advice on the "most effective" way to get rid of a large GeoRaster layer tablespace.

Perhaps more generally, is there a way to UNREGISTER a GeoRaster layer. And if not is there?

Thank you, Mark

I basically stopped worrying about the issue when I noticed you 10.2.0.1.

You have an operating system in mode support
Hosts a database of support mode
That has never been important enough for anyone to apply a fix of the sentence over the last decade.

I think that you have much more important things to do questions that the tablespace transportable success or failure.

You get at least to the 10 gr 2 output terminal which is 10.2.0.5 and then contact us if the problem persists.

BTW: Hari does not have DBA privileges? Hari can have data... but Hari is perhaps not able, for the most part, to create a tablespace.

You know that you can not just copy a tablespace and attach it to another. They will be inconsistent and that you will need recovery. You must move the objects inside. So it would be much better to use datapump for this task.

Speed? Just copy the data files themselves at the level of the BONE. Of course, you use always EXPDP to export the "metadata" for the tablespace but that takes just seconds.

See and try the example from Oracle-Base
    http://www.Oracle-base.com/articles/Misc/transportable-tablespaces.php

You can also use the first two steps listed on your actual DB to see if it is eligible for transport and to see what there could be violations.

Note: 847951.1 - how to change the Management of the measure of a Tablespace size uniform to Autoallocate-

This note of oracle said: there is no "alter tablespace" syntax of uniform to autoallocate extended management change. We need to re - define the storage space for the management of the extent of the change:
    · Backup tablespace
    · Export data from the tablespace
    · Drop and re-create the tablespace with option "Autoallocate.
    · Import data from the tablespace

But we are unable to continue this from our database is 2 TB in size, tablespaces are application tablespaces and they are not CanGrow and not auto allcoated. During the migration, I will use transportable tablespace to move the data to the new environment file, and that's why the tablespace inherited these characters.

Since the size of storage space, it is impossible for us to export-import-drop. What is the best way to treat this?

You can test this, but I don't think it will work.

Currently I see below option only

    · Backup tablespace
    · Export data from the tablespace
    · Drop and re-create the tablespace with option "Autoallocate.

  • import the Dumpfile export tablespace

    Hi all

    Oracle 10.2.0.
    IBM AIX

I have some doubts in the recovery of the database.

I export whole database every day. I had a problem a month before. Suddenly one of my mount point has been
disassembled and data files that has been deleted(2_datafiles_in_that_in_separate_tablespaces).when I go back the partition, the data files was not there.

I tried to recreate the data files by using the structure of control files, but I don't have the archivelogs to bring back the data files at the present time, I failed in this scenario.

Then I droped the tablespaces and recreated with the same old structure (including the lack of data files) and imported the full dump using file ignore = option y. successfully restored.

In this case can I use tablespace transport option and restore storage space?

    Please advice...

    TIA,

    >

What you want to do. What do mean by restoring the tablespace. Since you have the export dump you imported, you can do recovery on it.

  • copy data from one comprehensive database to another in the same windows server

    Hi all

We intend to migrate or copy the complete data of a database which is in 11.2.0.1.0 enterprise edition for 11.2.0.1.0 in the standard edition.

Two oracle homes are even windows Server.

According to my knowledge, we can do this:

    1. create a database in 11.2.0.1.0 in standard edition and migrate by datapump

    2 tablespaces transportable datapump option.

    3 Rman cloning.

Is it possible to lower the db in 11.2.0.1.0 enterprise edition in a uniform State... copy the file pfile, backup of the controlfile, data files and paste in 11.2.0.1.0 in the standard edition home... After you re-create the control file and db startup?

You cannot clone a database of EE in a self a.

The only option you have is option 1.
