A5 paper hp 1510

bougght just a HP 1510.  Spec said she prints A5, but it won, t.     How to make this work?

I finally partly solved problem by installing driver HP printer all-in-6980.    This has allowed print A5, BUT made a total mess of double-sided printing.  It seemes the 6980 has a different type of paper drawer, and make double-sided bit with a 1510 work you need print on all sides first and then to reverse the order of the pages before recharging and to print the second side.  Be very careful how you turn the pages (side by side) or at the end is thinner.   Ultimately all have too many problems and I abandoned the idea.     Too bad because it was a nice cheap printer.

  • Deskjet 1510 paper weight

I have recurring problems with the printer in Photo paper 220gsm "cheap" copy paper weight hwereas standard sails through easily. I use paper that is too heavy for this printer?

    Hi KenofWB,

Thank you for your answer! I would try using paper Photo HP instead of Polaroid, as you are right, it could be a problem with the paper being bent over the edge.

Hope this helps you and have a great day!

  • PSC 1510 guard printing alignment pages, won't allow me to use scanner

My 1510 keeps printing alignment pages (or gives me an error of paper output).  I do not use the color cartridge and haven't for a long time.

Now when I try to scan a document it says that something is in control of the scanner (probably the alignment process).   I put the fininsh the alignment process page, but he just keeps trying to print an alignment page.

How can I disable alignment 'characteristic '?  I'm starting to think that the only purpose of this feature is wasting ink HP.

    Hello

The alignment process designed to ensure optimal print quality, black ink and color are necessary to complete the alignment process, otherwise it runs aground.

I'm afraid that the model does not circumvent the alignment process, thus getting a new color cartridge essencial in order to complete the alignment process, otherwise the printer will keep pritnign the sheet at the start of the device.

You can try to print an alignment sheet and press several times the button cancel during the pritning of the page, I think that it can cancel the process then and allow you to scan, however the same will have to be repeated after the printer is restarted.

  • HP Deskjet series 1510: Printer Deskjet 1510 fixed margins 25 mm, why so wide?

    Hello

I have trouble to print a document created on the Publisher, then printed on pdf file on a page A4 HP 1510 series.

The pdf file is shrunk because even my document margin is 10 mm,

a default margin seems to be put in place by default 25 mm.

I understand that this printer needs a border (or a minimum margin).

But where can I change this default configuration?

    Thank you for your help.

PS: below an overview of my screen 'Polish', easy loan for any IT guy.

    Hello

Thise are not a print margins, but the margins of the PDF of the file itself, when you use Adobe Reader, who may not be changed, an editor would be necessary for such a.

Select the Fit in the resize options, click Properties and easurement that paper size is selected.

There will be some margins, what are the limits of your printer, but the margins will be as follows (the PDF itself unless have margins more due to a different scale of size, do not forget to review the preview pane before printing.)

You can find the minimum margins for your printer under "specifications of paper output > margins below:

  • HP Deskjet Series 1510: Black print cartridge slightly

I use deskjet series 1510 for about a year, but recently there is a problem on the black cartridge. When I put quality on plain paper normal at best quality, the output paper still prints the words a little. I try to use special paper, but it's always the same. Then I try to use the photo with the highest quality paper and the result displays the words clearly. This thing happened after I refill the black cartridge for myself, not to buy original hp cartridge. Is it possible to make it clear again with the best quality paper ordinary setting? Because it is too extravagant if I always use the quality setting best photo paper or there may be some indication of failure of the axis of the printer? I hope I explain cleary, look forward to the solution, thank you.

    Kind regards

    Thie

The black cartridge is not used when the photo paper is selected, because the black pigmented ink is not compatible with photo paper.

It would seem that you have incompatible ink or have introduced air into the black cartrdige.

Replace the black cartridge with a genuine HP cartridge should solve the problem.  [Unless the refill ink has contaminated the gas caps and wipers, in this case more work may be required...]

  • HP Officejet 1510: HP Officejet 1510 stops Middle Print with button / stop blinking always

I just bought this printer and I don't know what is happening. The first time I printed something (8 pages) days ago and it printed perfectly without any problems. This time, when I tried to print 6 pages (this printer connects via the USB port on my computer) it has started printing, but after it printed 1/4 first page, he stopped and just sat there. The light was still flashing. Finally he spits out paper with just 1/4 of printed page and didn't even start the following study through the diet. When I watched the queue of the printer on my computer, it seemed that demand was still online, marked as impression. I tried to print one page at a time and it actually worked for a few pages! It their print perfectly with zero problems. Then when I tried to print page 4 by itself, it got stuck once more, after 1/4 of the page prints.

I did a test print (hold down the power button / stop and the Cancel button) and it printed fine. Does anyone have an idea why I have a problem and how to prevent it?

    Thank you!

Welcome to the HP community @md1137!

I understand that you are facing a printing problem with your Windows XP system that prints to your Deskjet 1510. I hope I can help! For me, the issue you describe sounds like a driver problem.

I would say first of all that is running the print and scan doctor. This diagnostic tool will check for all conflicts that may be causing the problem. The tool will show you a report at the end. If there is a problem that the tool could not fix, you will notice it in the results.

If the problem continues, go to the Control Panel uninstalling the printer software , restart the PC, then download and reinstall the driver to feature full here: e-all-in-one HP Deskjet 1510 Printer series full feature software and drivers

Try to print again, and the problem should be solved, fingers crossed!

  • HP Deskjet 1510 - two-sided printing

I can't print both sides. Quite true settings. But I don't check duplex function. How do I book? My OS is Windows XP 32-bit.

The printer HP Deskjet 1510 cannot perform automatic duplex printing, it must be done manually. I'll tell how you to print double-sided of the Microsoft Word application. The same procedure can be used to print from other applications:

To print a single document Page 2 faces:

    (1) load a single sheet of paper in the input tray.

    (2) open the Microsoft Word document and choose file > print.

    (3) in the print window, enter 1 next to the pages option.

    (4) click on print. This example displays the first page of the document.

    (5) turn the printed page and place it in the tray.

    (6) now print the second page by following steps 1-3 above and who enters the 2 next to the option pages.

To print a document of several Page 2 face:

    (1) load a stack of media or the number of sheets needed for the print job in tray.

    (2) open the Microsoft Word document and choose file > print.

    (3) now, print all the odd numbered pages of the document first. To do this in the print, enter all the odd numbers next to option pages separated by commas. Ex: If you have a 6 page document, enter 1,3,5 next to the section pages.

    (4) click on print and will print the odd pages.

    (5) then, take the stack of printed pages, flip and load it into the input tray.

    (6) now print even pages by following steps 1-3 above and enter all the numbers next to pages option: separating with comma. Ex: If you have a 6 page document, enter 2,4,6 next to the section pages.

    (7) click on print and will print the even pages.

    I hope this helps.

  • Desperately need help with my old Vostro 1510 which does not start!

My old Vostro 1510 (my tried & true), I had for 7-8 years under XP Pro SP3.  Its really been a good little machine, but only started to have problems... Yesterday was the BSOD with the 07th code.  Do system restore from the command through the splash screen prompt & if necc doing the XP restore CD & same BIOS reset if being researched necc.

So I tried to do the system restore to an earlier time with the button F8 at startup... blue screen then said that I had a windows configuration config 32 corruption & I need to use the recovery disk...

Could not get a cd on the internal disk but finally prevailed in now the eject button then re start the computer.

I guess it was a mistake to put the restore cd right there because nothing happened, just a black screen... I had to force close by pulling the battery because it is not closed in any other way.

Tried to restart & it makes the usuall start noise, the "can" symbol lights up at the top of the keyboard along w / all the three symbols to "lock" near her but NOTHING happens... black screen & I cannot get the disc in the CD drive.

I'm contemplating manually pulling the CD with a paper clip, but wanted to post my question here before I do & ruin even worse.

I have a newer dell laptop as I expected that to meet his maker someday, but I have pictures on my old I need to save!  You think I would have a copy of these images, but of course I did not!  I don't care if old dies, but I really need these photos because they have great sentimental value.

Can someone help me restore an old long enough to get my pictures of her?

    Thank you

  • DeskJet border 1510:1510

I know the 1510 is not without borders but is it possible to ensure that the border is still, rather than the bottom of the border being thicker than the rest?

    Hello Kittlee,

Unfortunately no, there is no way to fix the uneven border you describe.

Its a physical limitation of a printer not without borders. Most of all I know this, especially the older ones, no matter what brand printers.

I used to print images from Photoshop and attempted to trick the printer into thinking I have printing on legal-size paper.

I always get the border thicker on the bottom of my image, even if the size of the paper was only 11 inches long.
