Access 6.24.0.0 connections

I have recently installed 6.24.0.0 logins on my thinkpad T410 Windows 7.

It seems to be irretrievably broken.  It has obviously been significantly modified since the user interface is very different.  The problem is that he refuses to open, although the menu right click "view status...,..., manage and launch... ».  by clicking the launch has no visible effect.  There seems to be no equivalent of the map showing available networks.

How to uninstall this version and back to 6.23.0.0?  It was much better.

Thank you.

Double-click it, change its value to 0 and restart the browser. This will work on a global scale, however, and cannot be specified on a site-by-site basis...

  • Cannot access microsoft over an internet connection by using the proxy to the office

Recently I can no longer access the Web site from microsoft, or support for microsoft over an internet connection in my office who uses a proxy server, so that the automatic systems update windows could not work well, and the bases of microsoft security might not regularly to update the definitions of viruses and spyware.
However, if I use an internet modem usb connection, then all problems can be solved, in my laptop, which means no protection of microsoft access. But when I use the internet connection via a USB modem, I can't connect to the local network in my office.

I already check on the filter of the proxy server and there is no protection of access to microsoft.
Why this happens and what I can do to get access to microsoft through the Internet using a proxy server in my office?

  • Access PIX using SSH when connected remotely with VPN client

    Hello

I think that this should be a fairly simple for someone to sort for me - I'm new to PIX configuration If Yes please excuse my stupidity!

I changed the config on our PIX to allow only access via SSH (rather than via telnet as it was previously configured)

Now, everything works fine when I'm in the office - I can connect to the PIX using SSH without any problem.

However, if I work from home and connect to the office using my VPN client (IPSEC tunnel ends on the PIX firewall itself) I find that I can not connect to the PIX.

I have configured the PIX to access ssh on the office LAN subnet and the client pool of IP addresses used for VPN connections by using the following commands:

    SSH 172.64.10.0 255.255.255.0 inside

    SSH 192.28.161.0 255.255.255.0 inside

where the 1st line is reference to the office's LAN, which works very well, and the 2nd line denotes the IP address pool configured on the PIX for VPN access.

Can someone tell me how to fix this? I have the feeling that its something pressing!

    Thank you

    Neil

Try the command "management-access to the Interior.

  • programming to choose the access point already defined when connecting to internet

Is that possible a list of access point on the device and choose one of the people to make internet connections?

There is only one APN defined on the device.  It will be selected if you use '; deviceside = true' without APN settings (assuming that your device is not default to WAP as some do).

If you have a list, you can try these - see this article for more information:

  • VPN access to the not directly connected networks

    Hello

I have a 5510 which is used for Client VPN access and there is something simple that I can't work.

The VPN part works very well with AAA on a CBS.

But what does not is access to networks that are not directly connected to the inside interface.

That is to say the VPN users can connect to the network within the Interface (say 192.168.0.0/24) but not a 10.0.0.0/8 network which is connected through 192.168.0.1 router.

I have the static routes in Routing and firewall all showing the way back to the firewall on all the other networks, but I don't get more far the 192.168.0.1 router...

I use split tunneling and pass all of the private over the VPN - internet networks is used through the own local access to clients.

Can someone help me out here?

    Thank you.

    Fraser

PS: have the same type of access on a 7206VXR and soft, everything can be consulted and which is necessary - but I would like to move this service to the ASA.

    Fraser

I don't understand the ASDM parts as you suggest. The code would be great.

I would also recommend control ACL applied to the inside interface (if any) that it allows traffic as

inside_access_in list of permitted access 10.0.0.0 255.0.0.0 vpnsubnet vpnnetmask

If still no joy, attach your config sanitized, would be useful for me to diagnose.

    Concerning

  • Access lists applied inbound VPN connections

I try to configure access to homeland security lists, we have a multi site VPN services Terminal Server is the main traffic flowing on the VPN.

102 of the ACL applies to cryptographic cards

    access-list 100 permit ip 10.1.5.0 255.255.255.0 10.1.6.0 255.255.255.0

    access-list 102 permit ip 10.1.5.0 255.255.255.0 10.1.6.0 255.255.255.0

We need only allow traffic to domain connections and Terminal Server services only.

I tried with no luck, remote clients lose the ability to auth against the domain controller.

    access-list 102 permit ip 10.1.5.20 host 10.1.6.0 255.255.255.0

    (DC also DNS and WINS)

    access-list 102 permit ip 10.1.5.21 host 10.1.6.0 255.255.255.0

(DC secondary also DNS and WINS)

    access-list 102 permit ip 10.1.5.22 host 10.1.6.0 255.255.255.0

    (terminal server 1)

    access-list 102 permit ip 10.1.5.23 host 10.1.6.0 255.255.255.0

    (terminal server 2)

    access-list 102 permit ip 10.1.5.24 host 10.1.6.0 255.255.255.0

    (terminal server 3)

If once they have connected to this topic, I've implemented these access lists it works very well, but once they log off and attempt to relog on, they are blocked. This leads me to believe there is more for field connections then meets the eye.

Anyone have any suggestions for me? Everyone knows about this problem?

    Thanks in advance!

    Gregg

Domain logon may require programming. It will probably be in the form of emissions e.g. directed 10.1.5.255. These emissions are going to spend your first list, but blocked by the second access list. To get around this, you can use assistance on the net 10.1.6.0 ip addresses. You can also add the following line to list 102:

    access-list 102 permit ip 10.1.5.255 host 10.1.6.0 255.255.255.0.

Another thing to consider is to simplify your ACL 102. Small access lists provide better performance. In the given situation, the separate lines for 10.1.5.20 up to 10.1.5.23 IP addresses can be replaced by a oneliner: access-list 102 permit ip 10.1.5.20 255.255.255.252. Taking this one step further, you can even create a oneline for guests access list when you move the third server terminal server to the range of 16-19.

  • Local LAN access on peer-to-peer connection

I'll put up a laptop computer with Windows ME and VPN Client 3.6.3 who faces two remote sites that use the PIX 520 to 6.22. On the first site of the LAN (behind the PIX) uses a NT domain. Here, the laptop is able to connect properly to the domain and map shared drives. On the second site LAN is peer-to-peer (no logon of domain). On this site that the tunnel is created and the laptop can access web services (http, ftp, etc.) on the LAN hosts, but are unable to map shared drives. The WINS server setting seems correct. Are there additional routing or tunneling configuration to allow local access from LAN to LAN to peer? Thank you.

For Win2k, you will need to telnet to port 445 and no 139.

NetBEUI will not work through a VPN tunnel. VPNS are an IP-based solution. NetBEUI works only as a broadcast on the local network. Switched Native can handle NetBEUI, but not the VPN tunnel. Sure just that all the hosts that use TCP/IP instead of NetBEUI, and it should work fine.
