  In the last month, I noticed that Youtube videos cause a crash Flash Player. If I keep the video game without going full screen, I get a pop up asking me if I want to continue (basically waits a moment just for the browser/flash defrost) or cancel. Rolling back can I refresh the page. But here's the biggest problem, if I go full screen I can sometimes watch videos perfectly fine. But accidents still happen very frequently (once every fifth video or almost).

  
  

  I tried everything at this stage and has resorted to the help forums. I checked the updates for Mozilla Firefox and Adobe Flash Player, both are up to date. I tried to disable hardware acceleration, but it does not help.

  
  

  
  

  What I noticed, is that if the accident occurs, I can go to the Task Manager and I noticed that it shows two separate windows firefox being open and they are unresponsive (remember I actually only have a window of firefox open) he does not say that Adobe does not but Flash player via the closure Task Manager causes thaw.   These are all the same time.  This is a deadlock between Flash Player and Firefox, and it's almost exclusively from Windows XP.  Communication between Flash and Firefox falls or is received out of order, and the other side is blocked waiting for a response that never comes.  Detection of blocking Firefox intervenes after 30 seconds and kills the plug-in, which is where you see the plugin dialog box crashed.

  It is unlikely that we will invest the engineering effort to fix bugs of Windows XP at this point, given that we are a year after the last time he had a security update.  Microsoft publishes a free edition of Windows 10, which might be useful to consider.  Win7 x 64 is where the vast majority of users, and it offers modern and defenses OS capabilities.  The last time I checked, a Win7 license was about $85.

  When I run the package install, about 5 min in the install explorer.exe stops working (i.e. the desktop background and the icons have disappeared).

  However, when I restore explorer.exe Taskmanager > new task > explorer.exe I see software installation, there are no errors, and software work.

  @bigdog3766 - my work around

  (1) wait for about 1-2 minutes of deployment, then ctrl + alt + delete when the icons disappear on your desktop

  (2) Taskmanager > new task > explorer.exe > ok - at this stage all the icons are back

  (3) computer > Add Remove Programs > uninstall Acrobat Pro

  (4) log on to the account of creative cloud on the computer, and then click on install for Acrobat Pro

  Uninstallation of Acrobat pro is very fast, depending on your download speed, installation may take a little.

  It is perhaps not a solution, but will work until the deployment tool is updated and the problem is solved.

  Hi all!

  I observed a problem when I try to print a Web page in Firefox v28 using the printer of PDF Acrobat (Acrobat Pro 9.5.5) installed on a Virtual Machine (VMware View 5.2) with Windows 7 64 bit. Print dialog box crashes (no response) after the pdf dialog box "Save as." Then I have to force Firefox to close, and subsequently an Acrobat PDF conversion dialog box appears with the progress bar has stopped in the middle. I must also close it afterwards.

  The other programs (Office, IE, Notepad...) are able to print through the PDF printer without problem. The problem appeared after the automatic update of Firefox v28, since when I downgrade to Firefox v26 the problem disappears.

  I checked a setup similar to a physical computer (W7 64 bit, Acrobat Pro 9.5.5, v28 of Firefox), and everything works fine, so I think it's a change that's happened in Firefox v28 who has a problem with the configuration of the VM. I also tried to change the Firefox profile, reset Firefox and reset the print settings and reinstall Acrobat. No luck.

  I would like to know if anyone knows some changes in Firefox v28 printing or related to any service or update that may have a problem in the virtual machine.

  I just try with Firefox 29 in the same virtual machine, and it works perfectly, so I guess that is a bug in version 28.

• MAX crashes when you try to connect to the remote server in VISA

  Hi, I'm running a problem with MAX OR when trying to setup of a client/server VISA system.  I had the first server tried 4.3 visa but she not even me would record the port on the server settings.  When I tried to connect to the server from a remote machine to access the RS232 ports, it could hang NI MAX or do nothing, depending on how I tried to implement.  If I click with the right button on the remote system in the right configuration pane and follow the wizard through, it doesn't matter, if I go to the toolbar tools-NI-VISA options and follow the wizard, NI Max crashes at the end.  Then I went online and got the version 4.4.1 and tried with the same results.  I also have abnormalities in safeguarding some configurations OR max leading me to question if there are questions of privileges.  The operating system is Windows XP Pro with Service Pack 2 on all machines.  I'm logged on with administrator rights and everything seems to have full read/write privileges, but I still have problems.  The issue of saving the port settings, I tried manually setting the parameters, as described in

  but unsuccessfully in version 4.3, but it worked very well when I upgraded to 4.4.1 without modification of rights or privileges so some things seem weird.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I will access ports with a program written in LV7.1, but I haven't gotten that far yet

  Thanks for the reply.  We use MAX 4.5 so it wasn't the problem.  We are not exaclty sure what the problem is / was set apart he healed himself when we all uninstalled and deleted the VXIPNP directory and reinstalled everything.  When we did, everything came and worked as it should.  One thing that may or may not be relevant, is when I was put in place of the customers, I went through the Options Tools - NI of VISA-VISA to complete configuration rather than right click on remote systems.  Previously, this would cause MAX to crash when you complete the wizard if I though it would be a good test when I put first and, since it worked, I followed this procedure on the rest of the computers.  Anyway the problem is solved and it works.  Thanks again for the input.

  I am running * Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit SP1 * and it has a Mobility Radeon HD 5650.

  As I received the laptop, it would crash when doing something that contains a little graphic, IE running Windows Experience Index, certain opening excel docs and even to open games.

  The laptop was running windows 7 64 bit Home Premium edition (where the problem already taken place) and decided that a new facility would be sorting. However, this is not the case.

  On a side note, when you run dxdiag, it shows the system model is L670, L675 and not like the label under States. Don't know if this is normal, however the display drivers work for both models.

  Also I sent again to where it was purchased and they did tests of material and there is nothing wrong with the hardware.

  You can replicate this problem or not the laptop down occasionally and only from time to time?
  What happens exactly? Do you get a BSOD?

  I think that if you are not able to reproduce this problem, it would be really hard for the tech guys check the hardware
  However, it's really unusual that runs any application causes the crash then maybe his hardware issue in this case I recommend asking Toshiba ASP (service) for assistance.

  I am using OOP for my request for data acquisition. I have different e/s analog and digital materials. I create a superclass named DAQ.lvclass. This class has four childs: analog in out analog, digital, and Digital Out. I am trying to invoke screws of the child of the parent class's class. For that I am throwing the class parent her child to aid "to a more specific class' function. But I get the below error.

  Honestly, I have NO idea on what you want to do.

  Inheritance of classes in EACH OOD (object-oriented design) requires to define common ground as the parent class. Children can add things like properties and methods.

  If you set children who have no points in common, you have made a mistake.

  If all children have too many different specific methods, your OOD is absent.

  Example:

  Parent defines the method A.

  1 child adds the B method.

  Child 2 adds method C.

  But method B will not be usable on 2 children while method C will not work with 1 child.

  It is an approach that you want to prevent. In any programming language oriented OBJECT. This adds unnecessary complexity leading to difficult to maintain the code, and it is prone to errors.
