Acrobat Connect Pro meeting Service Plans - authorization and pricing issues

Hello! I was hoping someone here might be able to help me with some serious things price / licensing / feature questions, about the Adobe Connect Pro Meeting plans.

(1) the price is $55/mth/host - if you, for example, 5 guests, but to do more than 5 available on request recorded meetings, if they are all accessible at any time?

(2) 25 concurrent users is the limit; is it by meeting recorded? for example, if 15 people have access to a recorded session and 15 people have access to a recorded meeting, all at the same time, you would be over your limit?

(3) If you happen to go beyond your limit concurrent user, what happens to the user 26? they access will be refused, or you will simply be charged overage charges?

I appreciated any help or idea that you have to offer!

I guess you got the prices on the website online?  I ask because when you buy from the company sale Adobe and through our channel business then it's all different.

Answers:

1. Yes. Records on request do not apply against your license.

2. n ° limnit 25 is for simultaneous live meetings. It's unlimited for records on demand. 25 limnit is completely defined by the type of license you purchase. If you purchased through the channel of software versus online while this number would be 100 not 25. On-Demand recordings have no limit.

3. If you exceed the license, then the 26th person trying to join will receive a pop-up message indicating the room limit has been reached and they will not be able to join. Yes, access denied. No way to collect a tax on the overage.

  • Acrobat Connect Pro meeting voice distortion

    Hi all

I use Adobe connect to an online meeting with the members of my team. We tested it on multiple platforms and the incoming and outgoing voice quality was superb.

The last few weeks, I use it on my laptop for the meeting and the members of the team are complaining that my voice like Darth Vader (it seems that the ghostly voice). I checked this issue through the Audio set up Assistant and I hear the same voice.

In the first analysis, I assumed that it was the network problem due to which there is distortion in my voice. But after the upgrade the network problem problem persists.

I use a laptop Lenovo Z50 with Windows 10. The votes of the members of my team is clear and sharp. We tested on Android device, iPhone 5 and 6, Mac Book, Windows 7 and Windows 10. It works very well for all, but only cause problem on my side.

The built-in microphone, external microphone works very well with Google, Skype and other IM.

I also checked the old posts from 2012 where people complained the same, but these solutions do not work here. Please help me solve this problem.

    Thank you

    Solved.

I spent ten hours trying to help my wife with her laptop in this regard.  Same problem as everyone else.  Same speech, same product Lenovo, even Windows 10 has slowed.

The ONLY thing that finally worked is to disable the checkbox "use Enhanced Audio.

I'll give you the instructions that I made for my wife DeVry College conference call:

    1. click on the 'Connect' icon normally.  Or whatever you do to Connect Adobe plug-in.

    2. once the plug-in loaded and the meeting of the dialog box is available, go to the "Encounter" dropdown and select Preferences.

    3. from preferences, navigate to "Microphone" and click it.  The middle pane then displays a variety of preferences, the first of which is "Use Enhanced" Audio.  (From my experience, it is almost always enabled by default).

4 uncheck "Use Enhanced Audio" and narrow preferences.

    5. be willing to start each new encounter.

  • Acrobat Connect Pro and GoToMeeting new, HD

We use the Microsoft Live Meeting platform for about 2 years and wanted to upgrade to a HD platform... just heard talk of GTM HD on the TWIT MacBreak Weekly podcast and did not know if we go to Acrobat Connect Pro... is there a comparable option HD available or is it coming? Leo

Hi Leo - also note, HDfaces is done only 640x480p resolution by webcam feed (and limited to 6 total webcams).  In addition, if you are looking for a training or large meeting/Webinar solution, HDFaces is available for GoToMeeting and GoToWebinar or GoToTraining.  Acrobat Connect Pro supports video 640x480p for online seminars, training and web meetings.  Today, Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro offers also several extensions to enable HD video in the meeting environment, such as the Podium HD pod (see Adobe Connect Extensions page here - http://www.adobe.com/products/adobeconnect/extend.html) and the integration of Vidyo.

  • Acrobat Connect Pro - Email and alias

    Hello

Recently there was my reminders e-mail sent from Acrobat Connect Pro from the 'Adobe Connect' e-mail [[email protected]]

However, by using the default setting where the creative event address is normally used, as well as the implementation of a new alias with the necessary "To send the details and select this as the name" / email address that the email must come. It is permanently supplanted by 'Adobe Connect' email address in the field.

When the user clicks on answer one of these emails, the email address of the correct user is used in the answer so appears not to be a problem with regard to the e-mail address of.

  • Acrobat Connect Pro VOIP, Skype and rooms

    Hello

I have Acrobat Connect Pro not having again, I used the trial version. I would like to ask the following questions:

1 - How VOIP of Adobe Connect compares to Skype?

    2. in a scenario of chat room (using Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro) I guess you should use Adobe Connect VOIP? What failover options you have? I mean you can listen to individual rooms or must you listen to all of the rooms at the same time? Can you only allow some rooms you (the host) hear speak (you can talk to a closed room) while you listen all rooms (say three rooms or more)?

Thank you for any advise you can offer me.

    Rob.

Okay, when you create a chat room we can assign students to a room or you get AC (Adobe Connect) to assign automatically learns. The classes are then displayed in a pod. A simple clicks on the name of the class that you want to enter, then you can interact with learners there. If you want to display another class, you just go to the classroom.

  • Snap-in Acrobat Connect Pro software component crashing with screen-share

    Hi all

I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me with a problem I have with my Adobe Connect Add-In.

I have a relatively old macbook with Mac OS x version installed 10.6.8, along with version 9 of Adobe Connect Add-in. It seemed to install correctly and meetings work very well. Everything goes well until I try to screen-sharing, time whereby it crashes regularly, giving me a box that tells me that the application has stop working. I even tried to uninstall and reinstall with the same result.
Is it because I have an older OS? Has anyone else had this problem with only the screen sharing? Also, is there anywhere I can test my screen sharing capabilities except when I'm in a meeting, similar to how Skype has a contact, you can call to test your connection?

If you could help point me in the right direction with this question, I would be very grateful. Please let me know if there is additional information, that I do not forget to share!

    Hello allisonc85780560,

Connect addin is not supported on MAC OS X 10.6.8

Here is a link to the datasheet where you can see that you need to have MAC OS X 10.8 or above.

    Acrobat Connect Pro data sheet

And to your second query on another way to test your abilities to screen sharing, you have access to the meeting and then share your screen. You can share your screen, even if you are the only participant in the meeting with the host or the presenter level permissions and check the features with the function that allows to the Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro for screen sharing.

  • Is it possible to use Acrobat Connect Pro as your LMS?

I believe it fits into your current LMS... but the functionality it seems to accomplish what I need: courses e-Learning hosting for my external clients, filing, certificates.  Any thoughts?

    Nicholas Souris says:

The real questions is: can I get rid of my MOVIES and download all my e-Learning modules to Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro?  They are available upon request from the customer as a true LMS? or depends on Adobe Connect "start" of the interface connection as an instructor and inviting the participants in a virtual classroom.

If I could use Acrobat Connect Pro to my LMS and my virtual classroom, it would save thousands of dollars.

Also, try to get an answer to this question to Adobe, it's like pulling teeth.  They are not in the LMS business and don't want to be.  Just because they have a LMS system, does not mean they want to sell, maintain and handle all the customer support that a regular LMS must.

    Nick

    Nick,

You're right that I missed the boat on the answer to that question... guess I read a little of what I thought that the question should be, not what it was. Thank you for calling my attention to this fact.

Connect can be used as your LMS? Yes. There is the learning module that allows the provision of training on demand (concurrent learner license) and live and follow-up training (named Virtual Classroom Manager licenses). While the connection is more than a light weight, LMS, it pasbien needs more organizations for the provision of training user and follow-up.

For the content of the application, there is no need to start the connection interface (meeting room, is what I assume you mean), training courses (single object) or Curriculum (collection of learning objects) will have a single URL for access. If you use a virtual class then courses on request can be initiated at the synchronous session and all the interactions between the participants will be followed.

If it helps, we have a description of the license for Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro here, Setting the Record Straight on Adobe Connect new license | RealEyes Media, in order to help clarify what can make the connection. Let me know if I can answer any other questions.

But I Don t know why, just it s working a single channel, not both. In another hand, using other audio hardware, it works, but it didm´t work with sound equipment AudioLink III.  Any idea?

    Hi Sameer,

Yes, I select the Audio device entry, in this case, USB Audio coupon. The program recognizes the hardware, but just one of the two channels, that s the problem. I tried on Windows then too, but with the same results. I guess that that s a problem with this material.

  • bandwidth upstream req to run Acrobat Connect Pro video live w

Is 3mbps enough bandwidth to run Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro meetings for 6 to 12 participants upstream video live w?

Here's the technical guide of 9 Connect. Average bandwidth consumption are listed on the 2nd to the last page. http://www.Realeyes.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/Adobe-Connect-9-technical-guide.PDF

Assuming that the higher quality settings each user should around a bandwidth above 500 Kbps. other things to consider is if they are broadcasting audio VoIP (44 Kbps) and for sharing their screen 200 + Kbps. So, I guess that upstream 3 Mbps connection will not suffice to attend a Connect meeting.

However, you can consider that approval can be saturated quickly with live video. Yet once again, assuming that the quality setting more high (which means that you can grant down and make more reasonable numbers) with 6 participants meeting all their video live broadcasting would require 500 kbps upstream and 2.5 Mbit/s downstream. A meeting with 12 would require 500 kbps upstream and 5.5 mbps downstream.
