  I'm trying to reactivate Adobe InDesign after upgrade to Microsoft 10.  The phone numbers assigned to the reactivate have only a message direct me to a Web site.  Web site instructions say to run the program and select help/Activation, but the program will not start.  All I get is a message telling me that I have to activate the application.  How can I do this?

  Its unfortuante, but it seems that Adobe is interested to take your money and then leave you?

  I have improved my CS4 CS5, and when it is necessary to reinstall, found that I can not do. unless you keep your old handy software, which I don't then you also lose your upgrade.

I never activated (online or by phone) and then formatted the hard drive, I had installed on my pc later tonight, after I decided that I was not updated. As I said, I never activated. The upgrade disk is still valid for use on another pc? Thank you??

  Retail upgrade disks/licenses can be transferred to another machine

  the only thing is: an installation at a time

  Here are the basics for the OEM and retail licenses:

  If Vista is preinstalled on your computer, or you purchased an OEM/license disk, they are both classified as an OEM license and are not transferable.

  The license of Vista OEM is related to the original computer it is installed on and dies with the computer.
  You cannot transfer it to another computer/laptop

  If a license of Vista at retail, you can transfer it to another computer/laptop.
  But it can only be installed on one computer at a time.

  A single license is a single Installation.

  I need help for a specific problem. My laptop came with an installation of Windows 8.1. Then I upgraded to 10 Windows when it became available. After a while, I decided to uninstall Windows completely (to wipe the hard drive) and install a Linux operating system.

  Now, I decided that I want to use some software that is not available on Linux and if I want to reinstall Windows 10. My problem is that Windows has completely disappeared in a form any. So now, I need to download Windows 10 from an official source (which I think can be done fairly easily from the official source of Microsoft, although if there is a better, HP official medium to do this then please recommend it) and then I need to activate Windows some how.

  As has been made clear, I have the right to use Windows 8.1 and 10 but I would need to download Windows 10 and turn it on. Is there a way to do this? I'm literally stuck without solution.

  As long as the previous installation of Windows 10 had activated Ok after upgrade from 8.1, you can simply perform a new installation as described in the guide on the following link.  Note: On the activation screen, select "I don't have a product key" - Windows will activate automatically once installation is complete.

  HP Recovery Manager only allows you to create 1 set of recovery media for the original operating system supplied with machine.

  However, there is another option, you can use.

  As long as the current installation of Windows 10 has activated Ok after upgrade from 8.1, you can create any media that will allow you to perform a new installation of Windows 10 If you need.

  You should be fine and there is no need to disable the current installation.

  When you switch from an operating system prior to Windows 10, activation records server a hardware profile on your machine - small changes (like changing a ssd) are almost always very well, while more significant changes (ie the map system to swapping) generally do not.

  I personally traded readers several times, then clean installed Windows 10 and he has never had any problems with activation.

• Problems with the Express upgrade and an upgrade key

  Before I've had my laptop, I have purcahsed a Windows 7 Ultimate upgrade disks and Windows 7 Professional. I used the ultimate update on my desk and I try to use the Professional on my laptop (which came with home premium).

  The problem is that I now have a "non-genuine" copy of Windows 7 because every time the upgrade does not accept my upgrade key. I understand that they are updated slightly different, but anyway that I actually purchased is more expensive than the anytime upgrade. How to make this work?

  Laptop has Windows 7 Home Premium. I used the Express upgrade to upgrade Windows Professional. Now activate Windows asks me to activate Win7 professional and will not accept the key that came with my Windows 7 Professional upgrade disks. The Activation Assistant says that I don't have the OS to use this key. The online troubleshooting guide says that such an error would occur if I am trying to use the upgraded edition to do a clean install (for example).

  I don't understand, how were you able to upgrade to Windows 7 Professional in the first place through Windows Anytime Upgrade? You have been invited to enter your key first. Windows 7 Home Premium license that you upgraded was activated before the upgrade to Windows 7 Professional through Windows Anytime Upgrade?

  Click Start, right click on computer

  Click on properties

  Scroll down to the Windows Activation

  Click the link to change your product key

  Enter your product key and use the phone Activation to activate your license. Be sure to explain your situation to the Appeals Officer.

• Problem with the rules after upgrade of the VM in foglight cartridge

  There is a small problem with the rules after that I updated the VM cartridge level.

  In the default rules, I changed a few settings so that they will act as I need.

  However, each time I upgrade VM cartridge my rules are off and marked as backup.

  The question is: is there a way to upgrade the cartridge and keep my active rules after upgrading?

  The last series of pilot was for Vista. You are on the edge for Windows 7, and despite assertions, not just what works for Windows 7 will work for Windows 8.

  Check each element of your machine with the device manufacturer, i.e. video, sound, LAN etc. sites

  If there is no official driver for Windows 8, you may find yourself running on generic drivers that don't give better performance, especially relative to the video...

  If you have unused production capacity to accommodate all your virtual machines in only 2 guests, you can do the upgrade without any interruption in your environment.

  It depends, but I think that 4-6 hours is more than enough.

  Hello.  Even if SSH has been activated before the upgrade then reactivated later.

  Select F2 and log in as root.

  In the menu, select Troubleshooting Options

  Select enable the ESXi environment and press ENTER - this allows the shell local ESXi (use Alt - F1 to access)

  Select enable SSH and press ENTER - this allows SSH

  SSH can also be activated from vSphere Client host-> Configuration-> Security Profile
