Adaptive resolution slow update

Recently, we set up a monstrous studio by BOXX workstation. Everything works great but there is a update slow and response in the viewer of the effects after when moving a camera or rub through a scene. Lite scenes have no problem... but slightly more heavy scenes bog down strongly. I have a system of lesser more kid at home, but with similar specs that can rub through the same scene as if it were on a first timeline with large adaptive updates for the Preview Panel. The scene consists of 7-8 still images of 5K resolution cutting staggered in Z space for the movement of the camera gives some parallax. I tried the following to fix it with nothing does not:

-Tried Off (full quality), adaptive, wired and Fast Draw. Quick draw helps of course, but the home system it is always ahead on the ground full Adaptive resolution. 1/8, 1/4, etc. all tried as well as increase the amount of memory texture of 1600 to 4500.

-Viewer quality at all zoom and color settings.

- And disables rendering MP. Core seems to be slightly more sensitive. There are 40 hearts on this system and I tried many combinations of carrots. The kernels more it seems slower. Also almost impossible to restore all the carrots without rendering of image sequences. In addition, takes to always these hearts of preparation and make really.

-On and without disk cache

-Cache layer on and outside

-Video cards may not be present natively in the... tried put Raytracer both activation and deactivation of GPU support unsupported.

-J' tried even adding my video cards supported in the raytrace text file list. This seems to have accelerated the response bit for sure but still no match for the system at home.

The system specifications are as follows:

Windows 7 Pro 64-bit

Double Xeaon 2687W v3 (3.10 - 3.5 Ghz 40 hearts)

128 GB of RAM

2 x 500 GB SSD in RAID 1 for the boot drive

1x800GB SSD for Adobe Cache

3xTITAN Black Editions with 6 GB of ram each.

Matrix SAN fiber 18 to RAID 50 for the media running to the writing of the 900MBs and 1, 650MBs reading

System at home that has no problem with the same project overview:

Windows 7 Pro 64-bit

Double Xeaon 2687W v1 (32 cores to 3.10 - 3.4 Ghz)

32 GB of RAM

1x250GB SSD for the boot drive

1x250GB SSD for Adobe Cache

3 x 680 GTs with 4 GB ram each.

Read table SAS internal 8 TB RAID 5 for the media running at 600MBs and 800MBs writing

This machine cost installation quite part of change and should break through adaptive updates and previews in After Effects. The fact that a slightly less system can rub across the stage as if it was a video file is completely confused and indicates that there is a problem.

One strange thing I noticed is Fast Preview of the icon home machine turned blue, although he is set to Adaptive resolution, where systems studio icon is gray until fact update, then it turns blue. The timeline instantly also has a green bar on at the opening of the computer on the home machine but it does not on the studio machine. (as there is no keyframe fair layers in 3D space and I move the camera in z space to check their distances).

Any ideas on the issue? Is it possible the Black TITAN three video cards are not officially taken in charge and optimized so my problem of preview? Or is it something deeper? Thank you.

Discovered the problem! C’était l’effet de bord flou freaking de plugins Suite Keying de géante rouge. The version on the home system was older of two versions. I uninstalled the latest version of the Studio work station and installed the old version and BAM... butter previews! So ridiculous. Duly noted... stay two versions of back in the Red Giant plugins.

Now on windows 7, the games running slow - update video card driver error message and/or turn on hardware accelerator.  Sony supporting not - how make to identift video card in my laptop?

Press the Windows key, type in "Device Manager" without the quotes and the Device Manager select from the list that appears, or press ENTER.

In the window that appears, find graphics card and press the sign more or arrow to the left of it. It should fall down the name of the video card you have.

  • Adaptive resolution while adjusting the mask path

This is something that has been driving me crazy for a while. Whenever I have set a mask path, the resolution of the preview window falls to 1/2 and displays the words 'resolution' adaptive (1/2) appears in the upper right of the preview window.

This makes it very difficult to make precise adjustments. Is there a way to prevent the loss of resolution when traces of mask setting? I tried, without success, change Adaptive resolution settings in the preferences panel.

    Fine thanks

In Panel Composition OFF (final quality) select it in the fast preview options.

  • 450 HP: HP 450 Gen 2 Ethernet Driver missing / replaced by ISATAP Adapter After Windows Update

    Good afternoon

I'm a network administrator at a small not-for-profit organization and aired on a particular issue with our 450 HP Gen 2.  Using Windows Deployment Toolkit, I have an image clean Windows 7 with the applications we want to push on these machines and then followed with update driver using the HP software Assistant.  In general, everything works.  But every so often, a 450 HP decides to 'lose' it's network, which is replaced by up to three non-working ISATAP adapt - hidden driver.  With hidden devices turned off, the Device Manager shows three network wireless, but not ethernet connections.  In addition, the NIC itself is completely dark; no nice little green/yellow lights sparkle.

This was happening before with an image earlier established by my predecessor, and I discovered that this image was intended to HP 450 Gen1 and Gen2 not - even if the image has been labeled Gen2. Thought it was just a simple matter that the Gen1 image was not compatible with the Gen2 machines.  They would work for a little while, then break after a series of Windows updates.

So I created my own image, repeat the steps above and for a while thought that the problem has been resolved.  But I just fell on my first 'disappeared' ethernet driver scenario; Since users employing 450 HP are usually off site, they need of working machinery.  But I have not found anything in the forums or through google search to indicate exactly what causes the problem.

Currently, I use the HP of a DVD Software Wizard because the laptop has no ethernet connectivity to see if that solves it, but I'm interested to know what is causing this problem so I can avoid it in the future.  It's not good if users are bringing back machines to me who... was enough to say... do not work.

I look forward to your correspondence.

    Best regards

    Robert

Alrighty, I thought about it.  Essentially, (is no longer editable in the bios) LAN energy saving mode disables the NETWORK adapter, and once off, it will idle rest.  Therefore, your PC will not know to turn it on no matter how many times you restart or connect an ethernet.

    Here's the trick:

1 unplug the power to your laptop, remove the battery, wait about 1-2 minutes.

    2. connect ethernet port NIC, connect the a/c, insert the battery.  Starts.  You should see your NETWORK card light up.

    3. once in Windows, go to the Device Manager.  You will see that your Realtek NIC listed.  Go into properties, power options and uncheck the option that reads LAN for energy savings.

Problem solved.  I hope this helps the next guy.

  • Bug in 2015 using two monitors and 6 K resolution Footage update

After the update CC PP 2015 Ive notice a bug when I pull and extend a clip in my scenario, my second film LED 27 "monitor monitor which mirrors my monitor of the program just starts blinking and does not show the images rubbing as he used to. I extend the clip it does not reflect the correct position of the clip, it sparkles so that it shows my home desktop screen on occasion. Has anyone else been done to meet this bug. Its quite frustrating. This happens only when I have a second monitor hooked up. I've updated to version 9.0.2 they come out today. and I got the version 9.0.1 installed just F.Y.I before And I always feel the same questions. I am attaching a video and photo, so you can see the problem that is happening. After having tested far this only happens with images of 6 K resolution. It does not with a resolution of 4K and below. And again once this has happened after the update 2015 The photos of the show when I make drag and extend a clip in the program Monitor flashes and does not play the preview as it should, you can also see the timecode overlay is not correctly aligned either.  Password for the video: CCPP and I use a MacPro 2013 with 64 g ram duel D700 graphics cards and I'm editing a disc SSD of Raid Thunderbolt 2.

I talked with Adobe tech support representative and he had no solution for me. Adobe can you please offer assistance more. Everything was good in Premiere Pro 2014 so it's probably a bug in update 2015 or conflict.

  • Screen with VGA adapter resolution problem

When I connect the MacBook Air 13 (2016 10.11.3 running) to an external monitor via DVI, everything works well: automatically selects the optimal resolution for the external monitor, plus I have other choices of resolution, and everything is good. But when I connect via VGA, I can choose resolution 800 x 600, which is not only not optimal: it's awful.

I get this same problem with 2 different VGA adapters and 2 different monitors, a 16:9 and the other 4:3. (16:9 screen spans 800 x 600, so it looks even worse.)

This problem does not occur on MacBook Pro 13 (2011 also runs 10.11.3): VGA and DVI work very well, with selected automatically optimal resolutions, plus I have other choices of resolution.

No idea how to fix this on the MacBook Air? Or is MacBook Air paralyzed by nature in this way?

    Thank you.

Finally called Apple Support. Has worked with junior counsel, trying all kinds of things that did not work. After an hour of this, he handed me a Counsellor, who took me to the preference of views and had me select the "chipped" resolution key to with hold option key. It gave me a wide range of resolutions that had not been previously available, including the resolution that has ended up working real well. Phew!

  • Inactive Ethernet adapter after Windows Update (9 March 03:03)

After update last night, the ethernet port on my Asus M3A AI series motherboard is inactive. By inactive I hear clear orange that generally turned on in green when an ethernet cable is connected, is still orange. I can't download the new drivers on it due to not being able to connect somehow. I tried to reinstall the LAN drivers from the disc support Asus chipset, checked the BIOS to make sure that the drive was activated and still nothing. I can't get one of my linksys cards to work and can not download the drivers for my card alternative network (ethernet controller).

I tried to find downloadable drivers for it on my laptop (which is running off the fine wireless) with no luck. If anyone has more chance that I do, I'd love to help.

  • Envy 17 3D. What rate of resolution and update the computer should be to look at a 3d multimedia?

I have an Envy 17 Notebook PC, model LW901AV.  I succumbed to try anything in 3D view.

My resolution is 1920 by 1080.  Is this correct?  Same question with a refresh rate of 60 Hz.

In regards to the glasses, I saw no evidence that they are even on. How can I test them?

Thanks a lot for all the help available.

In order to read content 3d, screen refresh rate must be 120 Hz. Glasses does not have ON the indicator, although you should see the glasses change colors when you tilt/flex it in front of your 3d display. I think that should at least tell you that it is something

  • How can improve on the slow update using the query / * + NO_XML_DML_REWRITE * /?

We have an update query recently brought to my attention that turns very slowly on Oracle 11.2.0.1 against a secure XML binary files table using

    Update / * + NO_XML_DML_REWRITE * / set object_value = croutreach.action: 1 where actn_id =: 2.
I am told the majority/close to the majority of the ~ 16 fields are updated. This table has also many predefined virtual columns with index fn based on them.

My first inclination was to this redesign using updatexml Oracle. I was told, the / * + NO_XML_DML_REWRITE * / index would also be required here.

    Update / * + NO_XML_DML_REWRITE * /.
    < tble_name > a
    Set a.object_value = updatexml (a.object_value...).

Last year our dba have been mandated by Oracle Support to use this trick, as the update has not been updated off any msgs of error records.

+ 1. Hoping to find out if anyone met with this indication in some capacity and what has their experience been? +

Trying to optimizie this update statement, I'll start from scratch is not using the / * + NO_XML_DML_REWRITE * / hint and will take effect in using the updatexml with establishing a xmlindex.

+ 2. Hoping to receive suggestions on creating the good xmlindex - find an informal index. If getting a few good performance with the xmlindex; in an attempt to remove some of the use of the virtual column. +

+ 3. Any suggestions on living with virtual columns in conjunction with xmlindexes? See the definition of table action and Associates ivirtual columns and indexes. This picture seems more indexed... +.

    Kind regards

    Hi Rick,

    Thanks for adding the sample.

First note: you use namespaces by default, different in the example of XML and the request - this a misspelling due to your mask real names?

In any case, I see two problems with the UPDATE statement:

    (1) unless it is really part of the id, do not double-cover the value:

    @id="'888a80be-d69f-464d-b3f7-85b6209f918e'"

    must be:

    @id="888a80be-d69f-464d-b3f7-85b6209f918e"

or as a variable binding (see below)

    (2) just like other XML features, XMLExists supports the names. You must declare any namespace as you lower to use XQuery in the expression (in this case, the default namespace).

    It works for me:

SQL> create table action of xmltype
2 xmltype store as securefile binary xml
      3  ;

    Table created.

    SQL> insert into action
      2 values (
      3 xmltype('

     19
     20
     21 ')
     22  );

    1 row created.

  • Slow UPDATE

    Greetings

I have an obligation to update a field in the cdm_install table
with the data obtained from a combination of two other tables gen_bitvabledata and gen_bitinsttable

This is the code that I use, but it seems to take a lot of time. In the end, I have to repeat this process several times, and the size of the data will be 400 000 lines. is there a way to speed up?

I have 10,000 rows in the cdm_install table and 400 000 rows in the other two tables.

    I have indexes on gen_bitvabledata.bi_keys_code and gen_bitinsttable.bi_inst_code.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Update cdm_install

    Set IINST_LOT =
    (by selecting gen_bitvabledata.bi_c40_fld02 in gen_bitvabledata, gen_bitinsttable)
    where gen_bitvabledata.bi_keys_code = gen_bitinsttable.bi_inst_code
    and gen_bitvabledata.bi_type_code = 'CROWN '.
    and gen_bitvabledata.bi_keys_type = 'i '.
    and gen_bitinsttable.bi_activ_ind = 'y '.
    and gen_bitvabledata.bi_activ_ind = 'y '.
    and cdm_install.install = gen_bitinsttable.bi_inst_code)

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Try this ....(untested)

    Merge into cdm_install T
    using (select x.rowid ri,y.bi_c40_fld02 bi_c40_fld02
     from cdm_install x,
                   (select gen_bitinsttable.bi_inst_code,
                           gen_bitvabledata.bi_c40_fld02
                      from gen_bitvabledata,
                           gen_bitinsttable
                     where gen_bitvabledata.bi_keys_code = gen_bitinsttable.bi_inst_code
                       and gen_bitvabledata.bi_type_code = 'CROWN'
                       and gen_bitvabledata.bi_keys_type = 'i'
                       and gen_bitvabledata.bi_activ_ind = 'y'
                       and gen_bitinsttable.bi_activ_ind = 'y'
                   ) y
             where x.install = y.bi_inst_code
    ) S
    on(T.rowid=S.ri)
    when matched
    then
    update set
    T.iinst_lot =S.bi_c40_fld02;

If this doesn't solve then please post explain plan for select query in the above merge statement.

  • slower UPDATE

    Hi all

I have a table called DOF with 3 indices and 3800rows.
My database is 10g and the server is the machine in AIX.
When I try to do a dummy (as a performance test) update as update DDL set col1 = col1 where col2 = 1 and col3 = 4 it takes 8 sec at the end, so I made a new table DOF1 (create table dof1 in select * from dof) and I ran the same update, it took 0.1 sec.
I create the same index on DOF1 (as on DOF) and the result still well (0.1 sec) but nothing new on DOF.
After trying several times to make this update, while all indexes are disabled, I did an import/export for the DOF table to make sure that all extensions are allocated correctly and always up-to-date takes 8 seconds.

You please give me some notes

    Concerning

Did you track sql of this update statement? There are triggers defined on table DOF for the update operation?

  • Very slow update during the review

I am doing a project on the first elements 14 with several video clips, and adding talk as a separate audio track.
Unfortunately, it is impossible for me to see a smooth video in the control window during recording. It is only showing a few still images at the time, making it impossible for me to know where I am in the video.
Anyone has a suggestion for a solution?

-My hardware has specifications far above recommendations...

I'm sure that the network is the bottleneck. You are not able to have the project file and all media on your hard drive? I am sure that, with an i7, it would make the difference.
