  Which plugin you have configured to talk to your Virtual Center? the plugin 3.5 or 4.0 plugin? If you have used the plugin 4.0, you must use the library-> VC-> * workflow so that the correct objects get used.

  I am trying to add a vCenter vRO 7.0.1 host using the plugin existing VC (ver. 6.0.2.3435085) and I run a strange question.

  If I choose NO for the option ' will you orchestrate this instance "then the workflow completes successfully.  This does allow me to run workflows against the vCenter.

  When I remove the existing vCenter and re - run the workflow of vCenter Add, this time by choosing YES, the workflow fails with error validation process: unexpected status code: 404 (Workflow: Add a vCenter server instance / validate (item2) #1)

  This error probably means that the port number is incorrect.

  Are you sure 9443 is the correct port number? Usually, the port number is 443, not 9443 (port 9443 is where vSphere Web Client is available). Could you re-run the workflow with port 443?

  I am trying to add an object of Orchestrator SQL plug-in inventory database by using the add a workflow of database.  It fails with the following exception: com.vmware.o11n.plugin.database.DatabaseException: com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: failed to connect to the user 'DomainName\UserName '. (Name of the dynamic Script Module: addDatabase #8).

  I suspect that the problem is with the connection URL.  I tried jdbc:sqlserver://servername.domainname.net:1433; databaseName = master and jdbc:sqlserver://servername.domainname.net:1433.

  I'm new to Orchestrator then possible I'm missing something simple.  The plugin SQL is installed.  I know that the account I used has rights to the database because I can log in SQL Management Studio and run a query on the master database.  Any ideas?

  In the workflow, the library is a creative workflow URL JDBC, have you tried to use the JDBC URL, you need to understand? That's what I did in the past when I had trouble with the URL...

  You'd be better off contacting Eastman Kodak and Enfocus, developers of Prinergy and Pitstop respectively for a version compatible with Acrobat DC of their products.

  In the case of MacOS, Acrobat is now a 64-bit application and existing plug-ins for Acrobat 11 (a 32-bit application) by definition are no longer compatible. For Windows, for the moment, Acrobat is still a 32-bit application; but you should always check with the suppliers for their take on the compatibility.

  I have a created workflow that generates a snapshot of a VM, notifies the user by e-mail that the snapshot was created, and then going into a timer waiting for a period of 2 weeks before checking if the snapshot still exists and to notify the user that they must remove the snapshot. So buckle up every day notify the user that the snapshot should be removed until the snapshot no longer exists.

  For most of the time, the workflow works as expected, however, I find that one or two workflow running fails from time to time. The schema of the execution of workflow shows workflow failed on the timer standby (which I checked has a valid date/time value assigned to the input of energy). When I view the events for the workflow, it has 3 events, Workflow has started, workflow is suspended and Workflow failed. When you select the workflow does not event, the description is "Workflow has been issued by a task, the workflow runtime does not be resumed" (I guess that 'being' = 'summer' in the message). In addition, when the workflow fails, it never runs the exception workflow that is configured to send me an email notification with the information of errors/exceptions.

  Does anyone have ideas, what could be causing this failure? I noticed that the failure occurs most often after that the Orchestrator function has been restarted.

  In fact, the behavior you observe is not random and should somehow. Currently all the workflows that are opened by an i.e., scheduled task are not included on the reboot of the server. The centre of the spot is responsible. The reason is that it could happen that such a workflow can be started at the same time to resume from the point it was suspended and centre/Task Manager. So, if the workflow should he resume the server restarts.
  Other hand the reboot of the server, the Task Manager will hold the following logic:
  1.1 if it is a recurrent task task manager will calculate the next execution time and is scheduled to run.
  1.2 If the task is not recurrent, i.e. it is a one time task there are two options:
  1.2.1 the execution time is not spent - then the task is scheduled for execution.
  1.2.2 the execution time already - spent, we will in two other options:
  1.2.2.1 the task has been configured on "Start if scheduled in the past" and has not yet been completed - the task is scheduled to run once.
  1.2.2.2 the task has been configured for "do not start if scheduled in the past ', or is already completed - the task ends with error and the workflow will not be executed.
     
  I guess in your case, the workflow is scheduled (started from a task) and that's why he is unable to return to restart the server.   Hello

  When an error occurs in a workflow, usually a notification will be sent to SYSADMIN. So, yo need to log into that account to access workflow errors. If you want to confirm, for a given workflow, how it handles errors, you can open it with the workflow designer and discover who is the error process used (go through the workflow process > click right mouse > properties > Details tab > point error Type and error process). You can then open this workflow error and check who is the recipient of the notification. I hope it helps.

  We have a problem on one of our field of PC:

  • Parts of the printer in printers and faxes are missing.
  • The print spooler service stops.
  • Add Printer failed with the operation could not be completed error

  Have tried the steps:

  1. Restart the print spooler service
     The service could be restarted, but stops again when I tried to do something in the windows printers and fax machines, such as adding a printer, or open the properties of the server.

     All the steps have been followed, but still could not solve the problem.

  Hi all

  Fixed a problem.

  It turns out the key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Providers must be cleaned too - delete all subkeys (and their values) EXCLUDES the Internet Provider LanMan Print Services and printing keys (and their values).  A reboot is required.

  Hope it will be useful for people who have this problem in the future.

  I'm trying to add a network adapter to a vCenter orchestrator vcloud vm by using the built-in workflow, however it does not generate a mac address on the new network adapter. Does anyone know if I need to run another method in order to generate the MAC?

  It is a strange question. You must report this to the GSS so this can be checked / fixed.

  In the meantime, you can try this in an action in return for a vcloud:Task:

• Flight Simulator panels and add on models fails to load on the main screen

  Step 1: Download and install the drivers for Windows XP-compatible video card.
  a. visit the video card or the system manufacturer's Web site to download the driver.
  b. install the driver and restart the computer for the changes to take effect.
  c. start the game and check the difference.
   
  Step 2: Adjust display settings
  a. right click on the desktop, click on properties.
  b. click on the settings tab and adjust the screen resolution at best.
  c. click ok to apply the changes.
   
  Step 3: If the problem persists, reduce the game to the minimum settings. To do this, follow these steps:
  a. start the game.
  b. click on settings.
  c. click Reset defaults.
